Day 1: Greenwich

Stop At: Royal Observatory Greenwich, Blackheath Ave, Greenwich, London SE10 8XJ, UK
Check into your gorgeous hotel in one the capital’s best-loved places, Greenwich, before ticking off your bucket list at the Royal Observatory. Stand on the world-famous Meridian Line that divides the eastern and western hemispheres of the globe, journey through space and time in the magical Planetarium and learn more about Greenwich Mean Time. Special highlights of your trip will include coming up close to John Harrison’s iconic timekeepers and the opportunity to explore the home of the Astronomer royals – an unmissable adventure!

After you’ve worked up an appetite with your time and space exploration, why not set your taste buds tingling at Goddard’s. This traditional British food experience will be yours as you’re given the scrumptious pie and mash made with British mincemeat, alongside British steak, chicken and vegetarian pies. Yum!

Day 2: Canterbury

Stop At: Canterbury Cathedral, 11 The Precincts, Canterbury CT1 2EH England
Takes you to the historic city of Canterbury, in the heart of the ‘Garden of England, Kent. Check out of your hotel in the morning and enjoy a high-speed train to the medieval city that you will call home for the next 24 hours.

On arrival, check-in to your hotel and get your walking boots on as you start your time travelling adventures in one of the UK’s most famous cities. Home to Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury is bursting at the seams with rich history ready and waiting for you to uncover. From its quaint cobbled streets to its giant medieval wall enclosing the city centre, you’re in for a treat with this jam-packed tour!

First stop has to be Canterbury Cathedral in the heart of the city centre, surrounded by gorgeous little cafes and boutiques. Venture inside to discover the tomb of Thomas Becket and the shrine of past Archbishops’ of Canterbury as well as some of the most exquisite stained glass windows you’ll see. Check out of your hotel for day 3 of your Time Traveller’s Tour as you take a high-speed train to your next destination – Cambridge! This idyllic British location is one of the most talked about cities in the UK as it boasts some of the richest history there is to discover.

Check into your hotel on arrival and explore one of the many free attractions in this beautiful city. Kettle’s Yard is The University of Cambridge’s modern and contemporary art gallery reopened in 2018 to great acclaim. A beautiful and unique house in with a distinctive collection of 20th century art, and a gallery exhibiting contemporary and modern art. Admission is free.

Punting Tour on the River Cam

The shallow River Cam meanders through 'The Backs' offering majestic views of Cambridge's riverside colleges and gardens. The best way to experience them is by hiring a punt, standing on the back of the craft and pushing the river bed with a pole. Figuring out how to steer is at your own risk, though if you do fall in be assured that the river no longer serves as the colleges' open sewers.
