- 1The British MuseumStop: 3 hoursHead to the main entrance of the British Museum where you will meet your kid-friendly guide and be ready to start this amazing journey through the history of humankind! The first part of the tour takes you back in time to the ancient valley of the River Nile to witness the largest collection of Egyptian relics outside Egypt, making it the main highlight of the tour. With the use of themed activities and games you and your kids will discover the wonders of Ancient Egypt, including the Rosetta Stone, which helped to decode and understand hieroglyphs, a 5,000-year-old sand-dried mummy, wall paintings from Nebamun’s tomb and sculptures of Ramesses II. After that, you and your family will have the opportunity to see some of the other highlights that the British Museum has to offer. You can travel to Ancient Greece to discover the fascinating Parthenon Sculptures, classical marble statues m ade under the supervision of the Greek architect Phidias. Later you will find yourselves in medieval England, where you will be intrigued by the mysterious Sutton Hoo burial treasure. These relics from two early middle age cemeteries shed light on a period of English history which had long been considered a grey area between myth, legend and recorded history. Our professional guide will share anecdotes, stories and use specific tools and activities to entertain you and the kids. You will absolutely love this tour!Read more

This tour was perfect for us to get a glimpse of the highlights at the museum. Tons of people, but Roberta knew exactly where to go to show us the top artifacts.
For my 12 year old, the Rosetta Stone was okay, but the mummies!! Amazing!
Lots of people to navigate, but Roberta knew where to stand so she could tell us lots of history and explain things, while still close enough to see things.
Tweenagers are tough crowds, but Roberta handled it like a champ! Can recommend highly!
