About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Janet A0 contributionsDisappointed in comparison to previous visitBooking a time slot is great as it reduces the time queuing but so many people there it really spoiled the experience 4D cinema great, spirit of London good but Chamber of horrors disappointing as very crowded so detracted from being scary at all Less wax figures than on previous visitsWritten 9 February 2025
- Companion421028239340 contributionsBest attraction in LondonI loved the attraction so much it was a little bit terrifying that the celebrities were real but overall it was In the you have to wait a bit I recommend you visit if you're in the areaWritten 7 February 2025
- TheArchers20220 contributionsJUST AMAZING.We booked this as we were in London and wanted to do a few things. Student beans saved us loads. We knew this was going to be good, but it was actually fantastic. The staff were all brilliant and the attractions were very good. The horror part was fantastic. Then we ended up in a 4d cinema, which we didn't know about, this was also fantastic. For basic 3d screening it was like spiderman was trying to poke my eye.. Lots of effects to create the 4d experience. I LOVED the star wars part.. Just WOW. Nearly every celeb looked exactly like the person it was meant to be. The eyes were so life like. I totally recommend you do this.Written 6 February 2025
- Debbie L0 contributionsDisappointedVery disappointed with this trip and glad we didn't pay full price for it. There seemed to be less celebrity models and it was not as good as I remember it being on my last visit 10 years ago. Far too many Bollywood actors who we'd never heard of and too much emphasis on trying to get you to part with your money for over priced photos. Sadly, I won't be back.Written 3 February 2025
- 82v_niam0 contributionsGoog experienceAn excellent experience, even though there were a lot of people visiting at the same time, it was a pleasant experience. The people are respectful.Written 2 February 2025
- Iwerback0 contributionsStar Wars theme bestAlways fun to visit, as long as you wait for upgrades in the exhibition. Star Wars theme best, many fun scenes to take photos in.Written 31 January 2025
- Fin3330 contributionsJust wonderful ! So interactive.Enjoyed the experience very much! I think the last time I went was maybe when I was a child. many years ago ! And you walked around and looked at wax figures from behind a rope barrier !? What a change now.! Was amazed how interactive it was..and that you could touch , hug, and interact with all the figures..even the Queen.Brilliant. The figure that perhaps impressed me most was David Attenborough..so true to life. We enjoyed the fact that it wasn't too crowded and there was lots of room to walk around. ( I havevto use a walker because of weak back muscles..and it wasn't a problem. ) LOTS of steps, but husband carried my folded walker and I used the handrails.... Loved the 3D marvel super heroes show. ( wished our grandchildren were with us !) Another highlight was the chap in the cola bar pretending to be a waxwork..and he had me fooled. Even took a photo of him..then he moved !! Made me, and some nearby kids, laugh so much. Thanks !!Written 31 January 2025
- H1022YZalie0 contributionsGreat experience, Highly recommended.Amazing experience. Totally worth it. I was expecting Messi and Neymar statues but didn't find any... Overall it is a very good experienceWritten 30 January 2025
- SilvinaFernandez20160 contributionsSadly, not as good as it used to beMy first visit had been 30 years ago and I was looking so forward to my second one. Most of the wax figures are spot on (some of them look so real that it's difficult to believe they are not actual people), which makes you wonder why the others cannot be as well. Besides, why are all of them skinny when in real life those persons are/were not? Unfortunately, the place is geared towards children and teenagers as there is an overpopulation of pop culture figures in detriment of personalities related to sport, culture, politics, etc. And the few of them there are, they are ramdomly displayed (other than the royal family) as to just fill a space. The chamber of horrors is OK, albeit seriously toned down. The Star Wars and Marvel exhibitions (4D cinema included) are further proof that the museum is not interested in cater for the adult public. And even when enjoying those exhibitions, most of the figures are just costumes (Storm Troupers, Chewbacca and the likes), no real wax crafmanship there so you have to wonder why half of the wax exhibition is anything but. My teenager son loved the experience but I was left dissapointed.Written 27 January 2025
- 314mani0 contributionsCrowdedWhen I went to Madame Tussauds, it was very crowded and hard to see information about the sculptures (that are very detailed and nice), and if you want to make a wax hand, you would have to wait for hours until you would be able to make one.Written 21 January 2025
- afcb-rossco0 contributionsGood day out.Not been for many many years but took the grandchildren at the weekend not sure what they would think. However they loved it, plus the taxi ride and 4d cinema experience at then. Could not figure out though why the mayor of London had a more prominent position than the great Winston Churchill. Spoilt my day.Written 21 January 2025
- Bluntmind0 contributionsNot worth the time or moneyBit sad really. A fair amount of the wax works are rather poor. The whole place doesn’t seem to know what it is supposed to be anymore. The house of horrors is very dull. We sat through a 4D cinema experience which was quite good but I have no idea what it is doing as part of a waxworks museum. Madam Tussaud’s seems to have lost its way and now seems like a waste of time and money.Written 13 January 2025
- PeterDrake1000 contributionsPeter Drake and family went to Madame Tussauds in LondonCome to London and not visit Madame Tussauds? Not a chance with three teenage kids. It was fantastic and well worth the money and long wait. The statues are so realistic and the set out of the place really made the experience worthwhileWritten 9 January 2025
- Nicole H0 contributionsNot worth the moneyAn ok rainy day activity but better off going to the free museums for the price. Whatever you do don’t pay for the digital photo package. Even though it’s only 10 pounds it’s a rort. The photos aren’t even set up properly (eg photo with the Rock his face was in shadow. You’d think they would have figured that one out properly given that is the wax model is in that position!) And they aren’t even downloadable in HD.Written 8 January 2025
- paulawDublin0 contributionsNot as good as it used to be....it's changed a lot over the years and I've been lucky enough to visit a few times. I'll be totally honest and say that I don't think it's as good as it used to be. Took a couple of hours to walk around and was very crowded.Written 8 January 2025

The Madame Tussauds in London is a great place for the whole family and it is in the Marylebon Street. Here is it possible to "meet" many stars as well as members of the royal family. Especially interesting is the "Spirit of London Ride" which tells you about the history of London.
Not so got is that the entrance fee becomes more and more expensive and it is a pity that you must wait so long.

A great pass that gives access to London's most popular attractions! An Unbeatable Quality / Award Ratio considering that, at the unit, the entries are almost 40€
Trip Tip, spread your visits over 2 days to enjoy each activity
The link to book the date & time of the attractions does not work, so contact an agent at the Madame Tussauds Museum Tickets Office, so try to arrive early to explain your situation. The agent can print you your Merlin’s Pass to keep for each visit. Visit the Office Tickets for each activity with the Pass to reserve your slot
Shrek’s adventure is more of a children’s activity but still a pleasant time!

I was in two minds to book as a few friends had given a negative outlook and some of the reviews weren't so good, but what can I say it was absolutely brilliant from the que management to the attractions which are top class and the little history ride was absolutely amazing... My daughter and I had so much fun and spent about two hours there. Most people were very respectful of social distancing and waited their turn with the models, displays were clean and well lit and I would definitely go back again and highly recommend, esp booking a multi attraction pass, which is excellent value for money

That was the 4rth time that i visited the museum and is still nice experience when you visit London. For 1st time i visited the museum with kids but they also love the experience. Remember to stand in line in cloakroom first and leave there your staff, even the jackets. If you have stroller they keep it there for free. We stand the line for about 10-15 min and after we get in. From the beggining we bought the 30p package to have all our photos digital. The musseum every time is full but you can see and photo any figure you want, that was never problem for me. The kids love the avengers area and of course Star wars is amazing. The only negative for me is that the most photos we had digital are not good. The photographers of the museum tooks a photos and not check if is good or not. We stand for 30 min. at queue to get photographed with "The Rock" and the staff didn't even told us to hold up the kids and they dont feet in the photo because the photocamera is on the ceiling. very disappointed with their photos but ok general we have fun and like it as always.

I decided to try it out hoping lot of changes must be made as I went there 30 years ago.
Very little has changed. Is it worth £33. I have my doubts as I whizzed through it in 50 minutes.
This attraction has been hyped up a lot.

Perfect pack of deals, I must say!
Ticket collection is from Shrek's adventure. You will have 3 months to use all of them.
When you pick ticket up, you can pre-book your time slot for all the places and get ticket confirmation.
This saves your time and skips the queue too.
London being a busy place, its always better to have time slots booked, to avoid big queues.
I would totally recommend this. Perfect for family weekend getaway!

mass hysteria over wax figurines. The poorest crowd control I have ever come across. unfortunately had to wait in line to redeem our merlin pass tickets. There should be an online option. Very poor signage and directions from overwhelmed staff. One gets the sense that customer service is not a priority to the company because it is a main attraction and there will always be people wanting to see it.

We visited Madame Tussauds, London Eye & Sealife Aquarium & they were all very enjoyable & well worth the money!
All the staff work so hard to make our experience in the attractions a very good day out.
We took so many photo's as a lovely momento of our lovely but very tiring day!
Would definately recommend a visit to all 3 attractions!

Hi I would like to purchase a pass for London dungeon London eye and big bus
My question is can I use the bus first before I attend the other 2 attractions. Can I collect my bus ticket and start using it then perhaps the next day I attend one of the attractions? Please let me know
Thanks
Written 17 August 2019
Hello, I haven’t tried the Big Bus. But when you choose the tickets, you can select different days so should not be a problem to ride another day.

1, If i book a time slot for Each attraction do i have to que up
2, how long it will take to see madame tussauds

Hi,
Yes, you would have to que up for some of them. Sea Life and Madame Tussauds is quite fast, but for London Eye you can stay even 30 min waiting to go up.
I haven’t tried London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure.
