- fjgncc0 contributionsExcellent Experience on DayTrip to Oxford and the CotswaldsWe had a wonderful experience traveling with our guide John on a 16-person trip from London to Oxford and the Cotswalds. While there was much to see, we easily accomplished our personal goals for exploring key places, seeing some beautiful places, and grabbing a bite at one of the many restaurants and cafes along the way. John was personable and regaled us with fascinating history and unexpected details. He was also terrific at keeping us organized and on time and yet attentive to individual needs where we could take our own paths. We didn’t know what exactly to expect but were very pleased with the outcome and would definitely work with Robbie’s again on another excursion.Written 13 January 2025
- Marc M0 contributionsOur driver John was amazing. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. This was a great experience. Would do it again n a heartbeat. Keep in mind there is t much to do in the Cotswolds. It’s a walk around and do pictures type of adventure.Written 13 January 2025
- D169JErobertb0 contributionsGreat day tour with a very engaging and entertaining driverAwesome experience! It actually started while driving through London when the driver (who was also the tour guide) talked about some of the neighborhoods we were traveling through. Speaking of the tour guide, she was very engaging and knowledgeable and kept us all entertained without being annoying. I feel we had everything we needed to make our visits to Oxford and the Cotswolds enjoyable. I definitely recommend this tour.Written 10 January 2025

- TrailBlazer3767610 contributionsA great time had by all on our Rabbie Tour with Neil Bateman. We went on our first organized tour & chose Rabbie's not knowing anything about them. We are thrilled we chose them and our Tour Driver Extraordinaire Neil Bateman was superb. He made our trip extra special right from the beginning. We had a small group which consisted of about 7 women from Australia, 1 from Germany, and us (my husband and I from the USA.) We quickly bonded as a group and we all loved loved loved Neil. He was a great driver, a great tour guide, and just SO MUCH FUN!!! He made it all so fun and so easy. He was a wealth of knowledge, played great music, decorated the tour bus and wore his mask for all of us on Halloween and played great Halloween music. One of our last nights we all went out to a pub for dinner and Neil joined us. We gave him a card and gift to thank him for being such a great great guy. His knowledge and warm and friendly personaity was a real treat for each and every one of us. We would highly highly recommend Rabbie Tours and if you are lucky enough to find out that Neil Bateman is your driver/tour guide then you are in for a great great experience.Written 5 January 2025

- anyas9400 contributionsGreat tour, tough driveOur guide was great and loved the locations! So much history, some of the best lunch food I’ve had in England, and really picturesque. Wish we would’ve had a rest stop or some kind of way to break up the trip back as due to traffic it was almost 3 hours in the van with no bathroom and/or quick leg stretch. The long journey plus no wifi on the van made the driving harder than other tours I’ve been on, but wouldn’t stop me from going.Written 31 December 2024

- vickieo7570 contributionsThe Best Group Tour EverThis was an outstanding tour to a part of England that we had never visited. The small group allowed everyone to get to know one another. The pace was good , just leisurely enough to allow time to pursue our individual interests. What made the tour outstanding was the driver-guide, David Coatsworth! He was a real “Renaissance Man”, with an extensive knowledge and experience of all of the areas where we visited. He also was an excellent troubleshooter who kept the tour moving smoothly and enjoyably! Rabbi3’s is forunate to have him on their staff!!Written 24 December 2024
- ChiaraC0120 contributionsGreat!Great experience. Carl and Emir have been amazing, they explained many things and made jokes. Even though my family couldn’t understand everything, they tried to talk to them. The bus is really comfortable and we’ve been able to visit what we wanted. I’d like to give a shoutout to Amir who was a very knowledgeable and professional tour guide. - 814sheag0 contributionsBeautiful scenery & villagesThis small-group day tour was the perfect way to experience the timeless beauty of Oxford and the idyllic charm of the Cotswolds. From start to finish, the day was incredibly well-organized, yet never felt rushed, allowing us to savor every moment. Oxford was a dream for history and literature lovers alike. Strolling through its iconic colleges and cobblestone streets felt like stepping back in time. The transition to the Cotswolds was seamless, and the picturesque villages were even more stunning in person than in photos. Each stop had its own character—whether it was honey-colored cottages, quaint tea shops, or peaceful countryside views. The small group size made the experience feel intimate, and we could explore these charming villages without the crowds. If you’re seeking a delightful mix of history, culture, and natural beauty, this tour is an absolute must. It’s a fantastic way to escape London for the day and experience the quintessential English countryside.Written 7 December 2024

The 3- day Stonehenge, Glastonbury, Bath & South West Coast tour that my daughter and I took this August ,lead by Christo McCracken, far exceeded our expectations.
The tour gave us the opportunity to learn about England's incredible history and experience the beauty of its stunning countryside. Particularly impressive were the misty moors of Dartmoor Nat't Park, ablaze with heather, colorful meadow flowers and wild ponies, not to mention lots of sheep and goats!
We had ample time to take pictures of Roman fortifications, medieval bridges, and even visit a 900 yr. old covered market place, still in full operation today. Christo's commentaries were knowledgeable on subjects such as local myths and legends of King Arthur, the mysterious pixies of the moors, and even the stone monoliths of Avebury.
The accommodations, organized by Rabbies, were clean and comfortable. Plenty of time was allotted for individual exploration and during transit. Our guide answered any questions we had and provided musical entertainment that helped to make the miles fly by.
I would highly recommend Rabbie's Tours to anyone looking for an enjoyable way to visit many sites and locations in the United Kingdom.

My spouse and I enjoyed the trip. The group was small and each from a different country that was interesting. We made fast friends and enjoyed each others company for the time we spent together. We stayed just long enough at each location to get a feel for it, and enjoyed some extra sights that our driver/guide Samuel included along the way. Samuel was fantastic - very knowledgeable and patient with everyone on the bus and I would be happy to go on any tour that he was leading. I recommend this tour for anyone traveling alone or with a family - of all ages. I would caution anyone with mobility issues as there is a lot of walking and climbing up and down steps to see the sights and views, and getting back to the the bus to leave on time is important. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This was a great trip. I loved Stonehenge, Bath and Exeter. Glastonbury and Tavistock were good stops too but we didn't have much time there. I would have loved more time in Bath. Samuel, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of each place we visited and was very entertaining. The only drawback for me was the B&B in Exeter. While it was clean and well-maintained and the breakfast was very good, I was on the 3rd floor. I'm 70 and have a bad hip. Climbing those stairs was like climbing Glastonbury Tor. Especially with luggage.

This 3 days tour of southern England was fine for those who expected to have a lot of free time to walk about shops and sit in cafes. If you expect sightseeing and some education you will probably be disappointed. Many of the places we stopped at ( Glastonbury, Tavistock and more) had really nothing to offer except maybe walking around city center and examining shops. we were given almost half a day free time in Exeter, nothing to see other than the cathedral, which takes maybe half an hour. The rest is shops and cafes. Durdle Door is a nice nature point but to really see it you need to walk down a long steep decline to the beach and then climb it back- not suitable for everyone and it doesn’t say so on the tour plan. Our guide was extremely nice, energetic and helpful but didn’t really study the history or geography of the places we went to so couldn’t contribute much information other than some minor anecdotes. I found this particularly missing at Stonehenge where I expected some background information on the site, but received none.

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I'm sorry to hear that this tour wasn't quite what you were expecting.
Tours at Rabbie's are mostly self guided which means your driver guide will narrate you through the journey with tales of our history and culture (with plenty of information available at the sites and even audio guides at Stonehenge), and then your time is yours to spend as you please at each destination. We try to give you plenty of time at spots like Glastonbury and Tavistock so you can squeeze in some attractions as well as lunch, and an extended stay in Exeter is offered as many of our customers have suggested they want time to explore whilst attractions and shops are open. I'm sorry that wasn't quite what you were looking for, but I can confirm we've got loads of other tours that squeeze in much more sightseeing through the journey!
I hope that despite not experiencing what you had imagined that you still had a great time exploring the south west of England and that you'll be back to visit us again soon.
Thanks,
Jo

Our tour guide John was very helpful, attentive and has a great sense of humour. Overall the tour was great, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as some historic elements. However, the time allocated for each stop could be longer so we could enjoy the places we've visited more fully.

Bless Kate Rivett for so many reasons! She was full of information and fun. It was nice she didn’t talk on and on, let us take in the view. She took us to a lot of great places, and made unique out of the way stops. She also helped me personally when my luggage got lost, and worked on the phone so I could enjoy Stonehenge. I appreciate her going beyond to help me!

I was on "The English Bus" Stonehenge and Bath day trip from London yesterday, the last day of April. Val was our driver guide and gave us a great time. We saw Stonehenge, we walked around Bath with its magnificent Abbaye, Georgian architecture and Roman baths. Val drove back to London through the Costswold villages of old thatched cottages and medieval barns. A memorable day!

Living in London, without a car can be expensive. We currently do not own a car and rely on public transport for our day to day. This makes getting out of London very difficult. Having a tour starting from London right on our doorstep, was hugely appealing to us. We live in a time of having so much choice at our fingertips, which can make it hard to pick a tour company to travel with. Having been on a 3-day tour with Rabbie's we WERE certain we had picked the best possible tour company there is. Having a smaller coach made such a difference to our comfort which is essential.
Not only were we comfortable the whole time but our guide Dean was fantastic. Having someone answer every single question we had was refreshing and made the time in the car fly by. Walking away from our tour, we felt like we have learnt so much more about our country, which is what we set out to achieve.
Now we know about Rabbie's tour and the quality of their trips, we are looking at exploring more of the UK. Rabbie's also offer tours in Scotland, Wales and Ireland. What better way to explore our own backyard, with a company we trust fully.

We're so pleased that you found our tour such a great, accessible way of finding out more about your own 'backyard'. It's so easy to take for granted what's on our own doorstep, but there's so much to enjoy! We really appreciate your support and recommendation and hope to see you again soon!
All the best,
Aimee

My friend booked this trip as a part of our interrail trip around Europe. Our guide, Kevin, was super nice and chatty and could answer all the questions we had. We were the only younger people on the tour but it was not an issue in any way and everybody were super nice.
Would have liked to spend more time at the Jurassic Coast, but besides that the amount of time we had at each stop was fine.

Hello,
How long does the tour stop at Durdle Door? Do passengers have time to walk down to the beach? Thank you.

About an hour. Time to get to the walkway above the beach. You could go down the steps to the sand but not time to hang around.
