About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- M791FOamyd0 contributionsBath with DanielAbsolutely! Here's a short paragraph you can share with your guide: "We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our walking tour of Bath! Daniels knowledge of the city's history, combined with his engaging storytelling, made the tour both educational and fun. We appreciated how he brought Bath’s rich heritage to life and kept the whole group entertained throughout. Thank you for making our visit to this beautiful city so memorable!"Written 6 October 2024
- N5946ZMnaomif0 contributionsAn afternoon delightThe tour was a delight. Daniel drove us along the narrow backroads of the Cotswolds and surrounding area, taking us to Lacock, Castle Combe, and a quaint little B&B for tea, before dropping us off. The rides and tours of the towns were made thoroughly enjoyable through his wit and knowledge of the area. The length of the tour was perfect, nestled between lunch and dinner, yet long enough to get a good sense of the area. The cream tea at the end was the best we had on the trip.Written 6 October 2024
- mikebQ998VG0 contributionsFabulous GuideDaniel was absolutely fabulous in guiding us to and through Stonehenge. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable on every aspect of Stonehenge and made the entire tour fun, interesting and enlightening. And he has quite a sense of humor as well. We can’t recommend him highly enough.Written 2 October 2024
- F5599IIamym0 contributionsFascinating and entertaining!Fascinating and entertaining tour of historic and interesting sites. Daniel is a most knowledgeable native guide who gives lots of special touches and a well-paced tour.Written 28 September 2024
- Harletta0 contributionsVery personable and knowledgeable guide to a fantastic site!We had a wonderful afternoon! We have wanted to see Stonehenge for years, and it did not disappoint. Dan’s knowledge of the site, and stories and history enhanced our experience. He explained many things we would not have known on our own, and made it come to life. Highly recommend any time with him, but particularly a trip to Stonehenge.Written 20 September 2024
- Twinkletoes_svk0 contributionsIf you want to have a great tour - BOOK WITH DANIEL!!!I really don't have the words for how amazing Daniel was. I booked the Bath and Stonehenge tour with the Salisbury Cathedral add on for day one and the South Cotswolds with the Mamesbury Abbey for day two. Our group consisted of 5 adults ranging ages 40 - 79. He is so incredibly knowledgeable about all things Bath, was super helpful in advising other things to do, hot spots to visit, where to eat and just generally adjusting itineraries so we could pack in as much as possible. All that being said, it really was the extra care and attention that he gave my parents to make sure they were doing ok with the walking and stairs, that lunch stops were extra careful with food allergies, checked in frequently on bathroom needs, etc that really puts Daniel at THE TOP of tour guides I have experienced, and he is genuinely an exceptional human being. If you are thinking about booking with him - don't hesitate - he will NOT disappoint.Written 18 September 2024
- Donald_Nute0 contributionsGreat day trips from BathWe’ve done many private tours throughout Europe. This was among the best. Daniel was knowledgeable and considerate. He made some major adjustments to accommodate us and our interests. We will recommend him to all our friends who travel.Written 16 September 2024
- Judy F0 contributionsOff the beaten tourist trailsWe engaged Daniel for our 40th anniversary celebration, opting for the Wells and Cheddar Tour. So glad we sidestepped the busy Cotswolds for a ride through the countryside to the smallest city in England. Daniel is the consummate tour guide and traveler extraordinaire. Having toured around the world, he has a keen sensibility for timing, pace, information and detail (but not too much) that made our experience just right for us. Wells Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace were architectural marvels. We loved the up-close tour and tastes at an authentic Cheddar Cheese maker, complete with take-home cheeses that have been cured in nearby Cheddar caves. We also enjoyed a special treat in a stop at a local strawberry farm, plus a decadent brownie treat along the way. The finale of the day was a short but rocky hike up to the top of Cheddar Gorge for a panoramic view all the way out to the Sea. Daniel was attentive, responsive, friendly, and professional. The van was impeccably clean, all the way down to the windows, which he shined upon our pickup! Dan is high in demand, so be sure to book several months ahead of your trip. He raises the bar for warm and personal travel. Highly recommended!Written 15 September 2024

- juanitac6060 contributionsMaking Ancient Britain come aliveI'm not one for writing reviews, but I've felt guilty because Daniel's tours were VERY good. Besides the Ancient Britain tour , he took us on a tour for gardens. I wanted to see the ancient ruins and my cousin wanted to see the different style gardens South of Bath. He knew the history of the sites and made the information come alive. Although he said he was not an expert on the gardens, the second days tours was excellent.Written 6 September 2024
- doreena5030 contributionsTop class professional trip. This was an amazing trip which far exceeded our expectations.
