Follow Montreal bike paths on a guided bike tour of Mont-Royal Park, Old Montreal, and the Saint Lawrence River, exploring local history and some of the city’s most important sites along the way. With a relaxed pace and plenty of breaks, this Montreal bike tour is a great introduction to the city's vibrant cycling culture, and it includes a bike, helmet, and water bottle.
What to Expect
Get fitted with a bike at a central location in Montreal before setting out on a specially designed cycling route through the city's key neighborhoods. You’ll ride to Mont-Royal Park and the McGill University campus, then follow Montreal’s longest protected bike path into the downtown core.

When you reach the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, get great views along the Saint Lawrence River from the historic port, a favorite for walkers and cyclists. Throughout the bike tour, pause roughly every 15 minutes to learn about the neighborhoods you're riding through, getting some background on Montreal history.

From the edge of the Saint Lawrence River, loop back to the Plateau and Mont Royal, where you’ll find some of the city’s hippest shops and cafes, then finish the bike tour at the original departure point.

I have been in Canada for 4 years, and this is my first time riding bike in this beautiful county. I was so excited! It was a wonderful tour that you would feel to get involved in the city. My tour guide was very friendly...More

Great way to spend an afternoon!

We are avid "tour-by-bike" people. Fitz & Follwell did not disappoint. We toured with Gabriel last Sunday, in a lovely group of four. I was impressed that the tour was not cancelled with such small numbers. Gabriel is a Montreal native, and shows it through...More

Interesting bike tour

I thought Montreal is kinda boring before I took this bike tour. The local guide, Thom, is really funny and pleasant and knows so many interesting things about the City! I did not regret it a bit and highly recommend it to everyone!

Lovely tour!

We had a GREAT time with Amelie and William guiding our tour! We got a ton of interesting info about Canada. Bikes, helmets and a bottle of water provided. There were 2 larger hills but nothing too difficult! One of the highlights of our trip!

If I remember correctly, it must be booked online and in advance of the date of the tour. The tours fills up quickly, and there is a max number of 10, I think, so I'd say book as early as possible.

I did not notice any tandem bikes . I would contact the company as well as other bike rentals in the city to see if they have them available

I think you'd be fine as long as you can ride. It's not very strenuous (3 hours, but that includes many stops). The South Montreal tour is fairly level. There are some very slight inclines as well as downhill portions. There... More
