Amazing tour with Pierre
Sep 2020 • Friends
Our guide was Pierre and he was amazing! We came with coffee cups and throughout the tour he gave us suggestions for very interesting coffee shops that we explored later during our visit. A lot of interesting history bits interlinked with tips about places to visit, tips for food and coffee and other activities 😁 We wouldn’t have known about the underground tunnel at the archaeology museum, it was a really cool find! Pierre was telling us a lot of stories and also when we were chatting with a maple distributor, we got to learn more the economics of maple syrup production which was also particularly relevant as my friend and I both study Economics. It was one of the best tours I went on with a lot of useful tips, totally worth it!

Fascinating trip back in time
Dec 2019 • Solo
This was the most fascinating and memorable experience in Montreal. I came up for a weekend and did both old east and west Montreal tours. Thomas was so engaging and knows his history like the back of his hand. He pulled you in with vivid details of such rich history and historic places, events, etc...it felt as if I was back in time in the midst of it all.
A lot of walking, so be prepared. When the tour ends, do yourself a favor and take a self guided tour of Notre Dame with the knowledge you got from the tour. Let it all sink in.

Informative and engaging walking tour of Old Montreal
Feb 2020
I did both the East and West end tour of Old Montreal, and my guide, Martin, was very knowledgable and personable. During the West end tour, I was actually the only person who had signed up, so Martin ended up giving me a one-on-one tour of the city! Along the way, we had a great discussion about Quebec politics and history, which was super helpful since I'm taking a Canadian Politics course and had recently studied Quebec. Martin also gave plenty of recommendations for food and activities in the area. Overall, I feel like I learned a lot, and I can't wait to return to Montreal in the future, perhaps when it's a bit warmer!

Superb walking tour of old Montreal in winter
Feb 2020
Our guide was superb, as we walked and stopped outside the Notre Dame Basilica and outside the courthouse, and various statues. She knew the beginning history of Montreal, and rivalries. She paced our one and a half hour tour nicely, stopping to let us warm up. Just note that it was a Sunday when we took out walking tour and we did not enter the buildings, but rather focused on history, architecture and personalities .

Amazing tour guide
Feb 2020 • Couples
Our tour guide was absolutely amazing! He was informative, knowledgeable, and really made for the perfect tour. Some tour guides tell you more about their personal lives than the city itself. But this tour was exactly what i wanted. Cool facts, and history and origin of the city of Montreal.

Old city history

Elise is a great guide with a wide knowledge of trivia about the city and its history. Sights included churches, street art, restaurants, churches, parks, churches, the city skyline, and did I mention churches? You’ll learn a lot about Montréal.

Wonderful tour of old Montreal!
Sep 2019
Had a great time on this tour. Lots of info from a local person who was very knowledgeable. Beautiful sights along the way. Wish we had taken this tour earlier in our trip as it opened our eyes to some more areas we would have loved to explore more.
