About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 774olenao0 contributionshe walk was fascinating.Hello, For my birthday, my son and I visited Calgary for the second time. Before that, we lived here for a couple of months a year ago. Now we decided to go on a city tour to learn more about its history and architecture here, in the northern part of the American continent. I really love Calgary, for the clean water of the Bow River, for the fact that there are so many animals here, and in general, the city that likes to joke. That's how I feel about it. So, I discovered it again on a tour! I liked everything: our tour guide Jerry, our small group of traveling and interested people. Everyone was unique. And about the city, there is nothing to say! I got to know it in a new way. Traveling around Calgary with Jerry was so intriguing and just fun, despite the slight frost and fog. Jerry protected us from the cold, took us to warm cafes or the +15 Skywalk. The biggest impression was not even the Calgary Tower, but the Central Library and the chocolate shop. In the Library we even played a game that Canadians love. And I also remembered the central street of the city, Stephen Avenue. Everything here breathes the past. Here you will take a closer look, for example, at the owl on the window sill, and you will not see it, and do not know what it all means. In short, it is very interesting and pleasant to discover the secrets of the city in such a company of people. I am very happy with this little journey through the city. Three hours flew by so quickly that the parting was unexpected. Thank you, Jerry; thank you to your travel company Toonie Tours; thank you to all the members of our group. I didn't understand everything well because my English is not good enough, but everyone's kindness warmed my heart so much that I really wanted to continue this journey for an hour or two. All the best, Peace, and happiness to everyone! Olena and Roman from Kyiv, Ukraine.Written 21 March 2025

He always made sure we were comfortable and he searched for ways to get inside every once in a while. That way, walking outside at -20 degrees Celsius was no problem.Written 16 February 2025

- L5342ABanad0 contributionsA perfect tour for the first day in Calgary! The tour was definitely worth it, even with the cold! Being in a small group made the experience more enjoyable, and time passed quickly. Jamie was extremely knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and buildings, sharing fascinating stories as we explored downtown Calgary. He also gave us the option to choose the final part of the tour between two options, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended!Written 12 December 2024
- Maps269398670560 contributionsAmazing street artIf you want to see some amazing street art and also get a feel for a different part of the city, this tour is for you. The tour guide has really taken the time to get to know all the art work and the artists. And the art is amazing and it's so great to know that it will be added to year on year. And the craft beer was really good too - a slide to start, a slide to finishWritten 18 November 2024

Knows its history, excited by what’s it’s doing and how the city is evolving. Besides it being cold, the guide balanced outside and inside time so we didn’t ever get cold. - RupertB7120 contributionsHighly recommended walking tour - even in the snow!I signed up for the 3 hour walking tour but it started snowing so no one else turned up. My guide was happy to go ahead even though I told her I wouldn't mind if she didn't want to (remember this is a tips tour!) and I'm so glad she did as it was a wonderful tour and I learned a lot about Calgary and its building and history. Highly recomended!Written 22 October 2024

This was a fantastic time! I was traveling solo cross-country on vacation but wanted to see some of the sights in this beautiful city. I only had a few hours and didn't have any idea where to begin, so this tour was perfect for me. I took lots of photos, as the tour took us to some great spots for views of the city. I learned some interesting history too, and we even got to go down to the bank of the river and dip our feet. The guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. There is so much more to see here, but I would highly recommend this tour to see some of the highlights, mostly of the downtown area.

The tour is a brilliant way of getting around the city. The scooter means you save hours of walking, zipping through traffic, pedestrians and bike paths. It's really good fun and quick to get the hang of (for me anyway). The tour takes you from one end of the city to the other, taking in the sights such as the Calgary Tower, the Stampede, the Peace Bridge and more.
However, I didn't feel like that much information was given about the place. I did a similar tour in Vancouver on bikes and I feel like we were given a LOT more information about various places compared to this tour. We scooted past so many statues and memorials and nothing was mentioned about them. We stopped at a lot of places but there wasn't really time to grab any photos, I ended up going back to some by myself afterwards to get some pictures. This could have been because we had a couple in the group who were struggling with the scooters and one got completely lost. We all ended up back together again though.
So it's a good ride round, not very informative and if you don't think you can use an electric scooter, maybe reconsider.

Had such a fun time on the scooter tour! I had never been to Calgary before and it was a really fun way to fully explore the downtown. Calgary is a great city for a scooter tour- the streets felt very safe to ride down and it’s so spread out that you really need the speed of the e-scooter to get a full picture of the downtown. We hit up many stops and learned all about Calgary’s past and present. I particularly loved all the art around Calgary. My guide Joshua was really entertaining and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this tour. The scooters themselves are honestly so fun. Since coming home I’ve rented the city scooters on occasion.

Arrived a bit late for our tour (our fault) and got on the road a bit later then scheduled guide was happy to extend the tour at the other end to compensate as he had no afternoon tour. There was only my wife and I we are reasonably confident on the scooters so got to see a bit more then they showed on the itinerary. Really enjoyed it fun way to get around and cover a lot more ground then walking. Guide was informative and flexible giving us options at times.
Price is up there but recommended.

Tobi was our guide and was absolutely fantastic. Our 16-year old son was so excited about being on a e-scooter - you have to be 18 in the UK. He loved it and so did we all. Tobi was so friendly and knowledgeable and we came away knowing so much about Calgary and the personality of the people. We loved our afternoon and would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to get to know about true city. Thank you Tobi!

Scooters were easy to use even for first timers, places we stopped were interesting and we actually went inside a few spots to get a more in depth experience. There were 7 of us but spacing etc. was good. This goes rain or shine so be prepared. It was windy and cold but still fun.

This was a terrific way to see the city! None of us had been on a scooter before, but we were quickly comfortable with a bit of practice in the facility before we ventured out with our fabulous guide, Liam. He did a great job keeping us together, sharing history and highlights of places to return. Along the way, he took some excellent photos of us. Definitely an excellent value, and I highly recommend.
