Our tour guide, Mitchell, was amazing! He took care of every detail, provided interesting back story to the areas we visited and made sure everyone was well cared for, no matter the levels they were at.

      Excellent Tour, Excellent Guide
We had very limited time in Banff, so I selected this tour to hit the highlights I've always hear about. It did NOT disappoint! Our guide, Nolan, from Radventures gave us a full day of spectacular sites and local knowledge. The hike through the Johnston Canyon Upper & Lower Falls was beautiful, and Nolan gave us time to stop and enjoy our surroundings while answering our questions along the way. He had recommendations for our lunch spot that were dead on (Trailheads has great variety, fresh and delicious). On to Lake Louise where we snowshoed--so glad we did that. At every stop Nolan was attentive, considering what we wanted to see, our pace--and helped with our much-needed crampons and snowshoes! Our final stop (and possibly my favorite) was a stop at Lake Minnewanka which Nolan said not many people see--and it's larger than Lake Louise. It was breathtaking! If you are trying to see a lot in a little amount of time (and even if you have all the time in the world), this is an EXCELLENT tour and we had an EXCELLENT guide who is most definitely passionate about Banff.

      You won’t be disappointed 😁
This was an excellent tour and Tess, our guide was lovely. She was very knowledgeable and helpful as was Harry who was assisting her that day. The scenery was amazing, interesting and I enjoyed the whole trip. I definitely recommend this tour and order your lunch through them as it was very good.

A perfect day out in wonderful scenery
After having knee surgery I was concerned that I would struggle with the walking in this trip, but Nolan was amazing! Apart from making sure I was ok, he helped me in so many ways, for example, putting on my ice cleats and always being considerate and thoughtful. At the same time, he was a mine of information and shared his knowledge with all of us in a lively way, answering everyone’s questions. Nolan made a point of talking to everyone on the trip and made us all welcome. He made sure we all had the opportunity to visit ‘restrooms’ (toilets) which is actually very important when out for the day! There were plenty of opportunities for taking photos at the amazing places we visited and Nolan offered to take photos of individuals or families. At the end of the day, he offered to drop everyone off at a convenient location, which was welcome after a full day out. Nolan was a cheerful, polite and very friendly guide and I have no hesitation in recommending him, and Radventures if you are looking to book a tour.

      Highlight of Banff in Winter!
Definitely the highlight of our Banff trip. Michael F., our guide was fantastic, ensuring we had a safe and fun experience. Skating on Abraham Lake was amazing. The scenery is spectacular. Snowshoeing at bow lake was fun. Hiking to Peyto Glacier was great and he helped spot big sheep horn. He took great photos of us as well. Super knowledgeable guide. Learned so much about the area. Do this tour!

      Amazing
It was amazing tour- Taylor was so informative and energetic. Also it was so nice that there were only 3 of us on this tour. The hot chocolate definitely gave me a boast after a very cold weather. Definitely will book again with them when coming one summer.

      Great experience!
It was a fantastic experience. Fortunately, the weather was very good and the road conditions were nice. Our guide Rae is a very energetic and kind young lady who has answered thousands of questions about the national park areas and other things and always makes our safety a priority. The hot chocolate in the afternoon just boosts the experience! Thanks very much for taking photos for us!

      Beautiful drive!
I had Nolan as my driver today for the Abraham lake tour. He's extremely welcoming and sociable. The weather wasn't in our favour at times so we spent many hours in the van but he got us all involved in conversation and made it a fun environment. Very knowledgable about the area, the wildlife, the lakes. Definitely the type of driver I want and enjoy on these small tours and never made us feel like we had to rush anything and went at our pace. Would 100% book a tour again under Nolan!!

Had an amazing time on our hike to Johnston Canyon. Our guide, Tyler, was friendly and knowledgable, sharing information about the trail, the wildlife and Banff more generally, including his own personal experience. The trail isn’t too long but steep in places. Tyler was great at making sure we went at a pace suitable for everyone with lots of stops and the option to go ahead for those who wanted to go quicker than the rest of the group. The trail is still very icy at this time of year so it was great that ice cleats were included in the price of the tour - they were a life saver and would make the hike very hard without them. We saw multiple people slip, slide and fall in trainers and even hiking boots, so cleats are a must. Definitely check the conditions before you go! Overall, it was a fanatic experience and would highly recommend booking with Radventures.

Did the Johnston Canyon Hike with Radventures and had a blast! Granted, we didn't have time to go up the Upper Falls because the group had both seniors and kids who weren't used to many hikes, but the trail to the Lower Falls were easy and beautiful. Kudos to Radventures for guiding us safely through it and also had piping hot drinks for us after the trip :) Our guide, Tyler, was the best! He catered to everyone in the group and provided tidbits of information about the area along the way! Will definitely look at Radventures again for other activities should I be back in the area!

Our guide Tess was amazing. She made the tour personable with her never ending mountain of knowledge, conversation and witty jokes. A real sweetheart. She explained so many things along the way, took some amazing photos, and made this a truly memorable experience. I would recommend anybody doubting a tour to book one specifically with Tess.
Ps. She also makes amazing hot chocolate.

Nolan took us on the Johnston Canyon tour and it was incredible! He is extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area, local wildlife, he even had a ton of facts on the geology of the canyon. He was very attentive throughout the tour to ensure we were getting the most out of the experience. The pace was very easy.

The views of the ice falls and frozen waterfalls was stunning and we were fortunate enough to see some ice climbers!

I highly recommend this tour to anyone who doesn't mind a little hiking.

PS we did the half day Johnston Canyon tour, but it was not an option for this review.

The hike to Johnson Canyon was so enjoyable and information. Our guide Taylor did a great job explaining the different wildlife and pines that we could see in Banff along the way. The pace was just right for our family including our 7 year old son.

Nathan and Rae were excellent guides for our Johnston Canyon adventure, which was amazing.

Both guides were very genuine, easy going, easy to chat with, sweet, and flexible.

We never would have known that it was Nathan's first time guiding a trip!
