I’m so glad that we discovered this company for our trip to Banff — such an easy, stress-free, quick service they provided. We had a great experience getting the delivery and drop off. The online ordering was simple indicating what day and time for delivery plus could amend the kids’ weight, height and shoe size a few days prior to arriving. We arrived to our hotel in Banff in the evening and our delivery guy was prompt and had everything with him to make sure our kids snowboard and skis + boots and helmets all fit properly. It was great to be able to wake up the next morning not needing to worry about getting their rentals before their morning lessons. Then, on Friday evening when we were done skiing, left the equipment with the hotels lockup and Black Ties came to collect. It was as easy as that!! Thank you so much for everything. We had a wonderful experience with the kind gentlemen of Black Tie Ski rental in Banff. They took the time to properly fit us. What is more, is that after sustaining an injury they were very understanding in the request for an early return and a partial refund. They were prompt in all matters. I cannot recommend them enough!

What a slick outfit. Totally professional and very reasonably priced. These guys deliver the skis to your room, and make sure everything fits and you are completely satisfied with it. The quality of the gear was excellent. AND THE HELMETS DIDN'T SMELL! If you have a problem on the mountain, they come to the rescue and sort the problem out. Then all you have to do is leave your gear in the lobby of your hotel when you are finished, and they come and collect it. Would use this outfit again for sure.

We just came across Black Tie after 20 years ski-ing and were delighted to have done so. Skis were delivered on time at the timing of our choice, to our hotel. We hired 3 sets and they came in a van and were fitted within 10 minutes. At the end of our time we simply left the skis at the reception front desk. It was such an easy experience. The company is situated on a nearby industrial estate and can easily get in for any amendments needed. Highly recommended.

Great to deal with. Knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My daughter rented heated boots and loved them. Easy to do as they come to your hotel and do all the work. Definitely recommend and will use them again.

From the moment I spoke with the staff at Black Tie for a recommendation for a ski, I appreciated their knowledge and the quality of their rentals. The ski they recommended was perfect, it practically skied for me :). The delivery service was on time and super convenient. Price wise, surprisingly for the level of service and quality of equipment, they were a little less than the competition. I highly recommend and will use them if another opportunity comes up. Arrived on Christmas Day at 2pm, by 3pm Blacktie had dropped of the high performance skis and boots as booked and ordered. Fitting and setting up done in room and smiles all round. Brilliant top end Blizzard skis. I needed to change length and one phone call as we left Lake Louise was all it took for these guys to be waiting as we arrived at the hotel with another pair. Return is simple..,you just leave them with your hotel and they collect. Do it! Blacktie takes the rental pain away. NW

We hired ski equipment from Black tie as part of our package booked via Ski Independence. The service was excellent, pre booking information allowed them to deliver skis etc. to the hotel (Fairmont Springs) on our first day. Everything was new, well fitted and with very friendly service. We needed ski helmets as an extra booking and they were sorted out on the spot. on a return trip from Lake Louise one of our group realised that someone had taken one of her ski poles, a call to Black tie and it was replaced within 15 minutes. We all commented that the quality of the equipment was far better than we had used in other ski resorts. The boots actually fitted! Thank you Black Tie.

We had pre-ordered our skis and were given a choice of time for them to come to our hotel, and they were bang on time! They came to our room and within minutes the skis were fitted to our own boots. We were given a card and told to call them if we had any problems. They couldn't have been more helpful. As we were there for 2 weeks we asked for our skis to be serviced after the first week, and they were collected and returned overnight. Fantastic professional service. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

It always makes me a little nervous ordering skis that are brought to your hotel. This time however, we got exactly what we ordered. High quality kit, arrived on time and were properly fitted by length and weight. They were serviced to perfection with edges that were so sharp that I never lost grip, even in difficult conditions. Our experience with Black Tie ski rentals went far beyond any experience you'd hope to have with a ski rental company. We had a great fitting the first day of skiing - they were early and super knowledgeable we were so pleased to have found this service. Then we got in a car accident on the way to the hill the morning we were to return the rentals. We got in touch and they were so understanding about us keeping their skis for extra days seeing as our car was towed one way and we were rushed to the hospital the other way - we were now 3 hours apart from our car and in the hospital. Finally, we got our stuff delivered to the hospital in Calgary and Tania came personally to pick up the skis in the hospital - she also brought me dinner! I was so touched by the kindness of this stranger - it brought me to tears. I highly recommend Black Tie Ski Rental - these are very good people.

This is the best service ever! We were running late from Calgary and were going to miss our hotel fitting I called the company and they were more than accommodating for our family. They were able to wait on us and had my family fitted in no time. Everyone had the right equipment and had a wonderful time skiing!

I was suprised by the efficiency of the service. I called to rent some ski equipment and they had it delivered to my hotel at a time that worked for me the same day. On top of that, the gears they have are great! I'll call them every time i need to rent some equipment.

Contacted Black Tie Ski Rentals Banff via email and they responded immediately. Called their office at noon and in the evening I had the complete equipment delivered to the hotel at the time scheduled. A last minute change of the skis was no issue. Everything was in excellent condition! Extending the initial rental agreement was no problem and the equipment was picked up at the hotel at the end of the rental period. We used Black Tie ski rentals in Banff. The service was excellent We could not have asked for more. We were getting into Banff late and planned to snowboard early the next morning. Black Tie met us the next morning at our hotel at the agreed upon time and in 5 minutes we had the gear we needed. The board and boots were good quality as advertised. We were at the mountain and ready to go before the lifts started. Two days into the trip the quick release broke on the boots I brought from home. I called Black Tie late in the evening and they arranged to deliver boots to me early the next morning. Throughout the experience, from website reservation through delivery the staff was professional and helpful. The local shops are helpful too but the Black Tie service is well worth the premium. As instructed we left the gear with hotel front desk on our last day of boarding. Easy and convenient, great service.
