Fantastic walking tour of San Jose del Cabo!
This is a must when visiting the beautiful town of San Jose del Cabo. Both informative and interesting, this walking tour provides a little taste of the rich history of this magical place. The tour guide, Kristian, is a local and he has the knowledge and the passion to inspire visitors to want to learn more-AND to appreciate the culture of the people who live here. Additionally, this tour supports the community, and especially the youth, of San Jose del Cabo!

      Challenging!
Instruction was well paced, engaging and safe. Awesome experience! You get an overview on land then a step by step progression on the water.

      Too loud, too crowded
Too loud, too crowded. Go up the road to San Jose del Cabo instead. Or stay at a quiet resort. Unless you are into the party scene.

      Stellar Lesson
Grade A experience and fun! The instructor is such a natural; so informative, patient, and astute. It’s also great location (secluded and beautiful). I’d definitely recommend this fly boarding session.

      Once in lifetime experience
Ever since watching YouTube videos online my wife and I have been looking to fly board. I am pleased to say the experience did not disappoint and is truely once in a lifetime. Kristian was a great instructor super patient with us. Got us familiar with the basics and then really let us have fun. By the end I was able to do some great turns and the 30 mins went by very quick. If you are in Cabo this is the one thing you can’t miss.

      Off the beaten path!
(I thought I submitted this when we were in San Jose del Cabo over a month ago but I don't see it, so I'm sending it again) Kristian was an excellent guide and what we appreciated most was his communication before, during and after our bike tour. Having grown up in SJDC, he provided some excellent back-stories, information and history which we hadn't heard before (and we come here quite a bit!!). Also, Kristian gave us some great tips for restaurants that were not "tourist traps," authentic and healthy options which we thoroughly enjoyed. Some people mentioned the condition of the bikes that were provided but like anyone who rents vs. personal experience with your own bike, it's not going to be a perfect "fit" for everyone...we're all different... plus, it wasn't a marathon -- easy going and fine for the purposes of this tour. We would go to a rental shop if we wanted to rent bikes for transportation throughout our stay in SJDC but as noted, this is a 2+ hour tour only and these bikes were just fine. There were only two of us on this tour and we loved it... the fact that Kristian personalizes this made it so much more special and well worth the fee, and a generous gratuity, in our opinions. Thanks so much Kristian! We'll see you next time!!

A great way to learn about San Jose Del Cabo
We really enjoyed this tour. We learned a lot about the San Jose Del Cabo area and Kristian was a wonderful guide. It was just as advertised; a sightseeing tour while biking leisurely almost completely on the bike lanes around San Jose Del Cabo. It gave us a chance to see more in a shorter time than walking and we felt safe on the bike lanes and Kristian as our guide. The only thing that could be improved would be the bicycles themselves. We weren’t able to shift gears properly (or at all really) which was a bit annoying especially on the way back and going uphill. For the price, I would have expected newer/better serviced bikes. Despite that, we were very glad we did this tour.

      Perfect first flyboarding experience
What a cool thing to do! Kristian was awesome. This was my first time flyboarding and I got up in the air quickly and was able to do a few tricks by the end of the session. Absolutely something you should do if you're staying at el Ganzo or anywhere in the area.

      Best Flyboarding Instructor!
Kris was amazing! He was thoughtful and cautious, and as soon as I got the hang of it he let me play to the extent of my abilities, helping me with tricks and having an incredible time!

Taking this tour was an absolutely amazing experience for my family of five. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable host and took us back through time in San Jose. We walked beautiful paths of the city and learned about the history behind architecture, geography, the native people to los Cabos and so much more. I was concerned that the age difference between mine early 60s parents and mid 20s guests would have challenged the attention of some, but this tour was fascinating, fun and held our attention throughout. I would recommend this experience for anyone who calls themselves a local in los Cabos and for tourists who have fallen in love with such a rich city. This tour is not only educational for visitors it also educates local youth about the history of their home, connecting them to a location-based identity. (For some extra fun, we booked this tour on a Thursday night during San Jose’s downtown art walk.)

We did this tour last week in San Jose del Cabo. Kristen did a great job of explaining both the history and the legends/stories that have been handed down through time. The most impressive thing is that this tour is done 100% by volunteerism in a effort to educate both tourist and the young people who live locally to preserve the heritage. All proceeds charged go to local schools and this tour experience.

Kris is very personable and sincere and he volunteers to do these talks on local history to benefit a local nonprofit that helps educate local kids about their history. I’m glad we did this tour first, it will enrich everything we do here since we now know the history of the area, the struggles they are having preserving local culture and their concerns about the future of their water supplies and their environment. But it wasn’t a downer at all. He had us laughing at every stop. The takeaway he wants us to have is not guilt but appreciation for what has gone before and a little effort to reduce our impact. I’ve traveled a lot and this is one of the best tours I’ve ever been on anywhere.

We highly recommend the tour to anyone traveling through Los Cabos. The tour points out many details about San Jose that you may not notice at first glance, as well as refute any inaccuracies you might have heard about the areas history. Our guide was a captivating storyteller and super accommodating. The tour is very thorough and goes over geography, wildlife and the inhabitants that make San Jose special. There is an option to stay for an extra 20-30 minutes at the end that ties all the history together into the present day. The proceeds from this tour also help to support the local youth. Overall, an enjoyable and enlightening experience.

We have been to Cabo several times but never felt a sense of connection, despite loving the area. Our family, including 12 y.o. daughter loved the tour! She even went as far as to say she wished we had done this sooner as it would have impacted a major school project she had previously completed. Kristian was great communicating beforehand via text and the tour itself was very informative without being overload. We appreciate what this group is trying to do in preserving and making aware the history of San Jose del Cabo. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVED this tour! Kristian was wonderful and highlighted some really fascinating(and important) information about Los Cabos and it’s history while keeping it fun and on time. It was also great that it was in downtown so we were easily able to grab dinner in the area after the tour was over. Also the fact that Kristian is born and raised here made it all that much more meaningful. Definitely recommend this for anyone visiting or living here!!

Thank you Kristian! The tour he gave us was the most interesting and enjoyable thing we did while in Cabo. Kristen made the history so interesting. He was great! SanJose was a really neat city and the town square is a really special place. Kristen met us at a local store/ dessert front so it was not an actual office. The tour was not like a commercial type tour at all and that is one of the many things we loved about it. We caught an Uber coming to lSanJose and going back to the resort. It was easy leash! It was very inexpensive and We felt completely safe the entire time. We would recommend this to everyone. We went on a Tuesday evening so there was art on the square. There is also a big art walk on Thursdays. Not sure about other days but it’s an active city. Lovely Church to see there.

Our Thursday evening walking tour gave us a two-fold introduction to San Jose del Cabo. Although we have been traveling to the Cabo San Lucas for 19 years we had never been to it's sister sister, San Jose del Cabo. Since our tour was on the evening of the Thursday Art Walk we were able to see a sophisticated central town while learn many things about it's history from it's geological formation, it's biodiversity, it's legends and European settlements in our walking tour with Karl. The purpose behind creating the tour is so great as it gives back to community by teaching their local culture, not just to students, but to immigrants, and now tourists as well. The area is growing so fast, this groups objective is to help visitors help them improve and maintain their community around so much development and tourism. A big shout out to Karl and a great learning experience!

We met Kristian doing a flyboard lesson, after he was recommended by some friends that had visited the area and done the same. When he mentioned he also did a historical walking tour we thought we'd give it a go as the evenings were long and balmy and we had time to learn more about the town that we were staying in. (San Jose del Cabo)

I can't recommend these tours enough - the beaches are undoubtedly some of the best in the world, the water is stunning and the food note worthy but if you have time to learn more about this beautiful town and its deep history I'd really encourage you to do so. As a local, Kristian knows the streets like the back of his hands, and we really felt like we were in safe hands guided through history and architecture.

Kristian's tour was such an informative yet fun experience!! Highly recommend to anyone coming to enjoy San Jose or Cabo san Lucas area! A great way to immersive yourself in the culture! As you stroll around the beautiful cobblestone streets you can't help but admire the charming architecture or the twinkling lights and colorful array of vibrant flags strung across beautiful restaurants and cafes...

Kristian would narrate and beautifully articulate the history behind the town and interesting facts as you stroll around and get to enjoy the beauty right in front of you. Truly magical experience! You can also tell he really puts his heart into it and is passionate about sharing this experience with you!

He has great insight into the development of these regions of Mexico. Walk tours are great to get the full experience. Joined with a friend but also would be a great romantic endeavor before enjoying the cuisine or a coffee at one of the many amazing local spots!
