Our guide "Waldo" is like the best history teacher you probably never had, he can answer any question and speaks nearly perfect English. This tour is a great intro to both San Lucas and San Jose, probably best done at the beginning of your visit, but even at the end (as was mine) it filled in all the blanks of what I'd missed on my own. The private mini van was clean and comfortable with A/C. The boat tour for an additional $20 USD was great, don't miss seeing close-up the famous Arch and the other glorious rock formations and sea life at the very tip of Baja. There are some shopping stops included, but there's no pressure to buy, you're welcome to just look. I recommend ordering the mocha frappe at the chocolate stop, a frozen chocolate drink blended with coffee beans, heavenly on a hot day. Tell Waldo if you want to see something that's not on the tour, and he can either advise you or swing by if there's time. At first I thought $70 was expensive, especially adding $20 for the boat, but it's a half hour drive each way between San Jose & San Lucas, and this is a very full day trip -- it's well worth it, super fun and informative, and priced right.

Uvaldo is such an amazing guide — super thorough, accommodating, and passionate. He’s also incredibly knowledgeable about history and has so many interesting stories to share about the area. This tour was a great way to get an intro to the Los Cabos region with a guided drive around cities, the boat ride, and snapshot of the artisan community. Getting around Los Cabos can get expensive, so this was well worth the money and time.

One thing to note is that gratuity for each of these activities is not included, so if you’re a traveler who feels compelled to tip, you need to go out of your way a bit to tip specific people for their service (I.e. boat captain, artisans, etc…). It’s also made very clear that tipping or shopping throughout is not an obligation and we never felt pressured to do so. We just wanted to for the great hospitality. Hope you guys enjoy!

What a great way to get acclimated to Los Cabos. Our tour guide, Dennis, was engaging and knowledgeable, making the tour fun and interesting at the same time. The pick up at our hotel went smoothly, and the covid protocols are clear and consistent. The tour consisted of 9 of us, so it was a bit intimate, but that sure beats the alternative of a big and busy busload. The van was spotless, so it was a comfortable ride.
Our favorite part was the boat ride, which I would highly recommend over the shopping at the Marina option. The extra cost is nominal, but the experience on the water is phenomenal. Also, paying for the lunch in San Jose del Cabo is well worth it. The food was delicious, ordered ahead of time so there was no wait and no hassle with the bill. San Jose del Cabo is a dialed back version of Cabo San Lucas and offered a less commercialized window shopping, shopping, and eating experience.
One recommendation I would make is to be sure to bring water with you. It is a long day full of fun experiences, but the heat can prove to be challenging, especially in the afternoon.
We loved our experience and would highly recommend it!

I definitely recommend this tour.

Uvaldo (Waldo) was a wonderful tour guide with plenty of informative things to share. He was very diligent in his care for the group and prioritized our safety and comfort.

We opted to do the water taxi to the arch and got a chance to see some wildlife.

This is a good tour to get yourself oriented with the area, and is especially good if you're interested in understanding local history.

I ended up getting the optional lunch, it was okay but probably not worth the price for what it was - there may be other options in San Jose del Cabo to consider for lunch.

Wow...we really enjoyed this tour.  I would definitely recommend this tour especially if you have never been to the area.
We departed on the City Tour with the tour guide Dennis and Manard the vehicle driver.  The tour guide Dennis gave us a great tour of both of the local Cabos areas. We picked up the other members of the group at their respective hotels. We boarded a glass bottom boat but looked over the sides of the boat at the fish coming over to us to get a free snack. Dennis took pictures at the vafious historical Lands End rock structures. We toured a glass factory where we were allowed to participate with the artisan in a demonstration of glass blowing. We toured on of the famous and functional churches and Dennis talked about the historical references and significance of the structure and took pictures. We crossed the street and Dennis talked about the town square usage as a courting location and one of significance for small towns as a operational point to gather at the gazebo for information. We ate at a very nice authentic restaurant that was visited by a local group of singing musicians who performed a Santana song by request for us. There was tequila tasting which others enjoyed, but I had to pass on as I am not a drinker. We were then dropped off around the local area to buy souvenirs, sample candy, ice cream, and meet some local shop owners.

I’ve done a lot of sightseeing so believe me when I tell you this was one of the best tours I’ve ever done. Waldo (Ubaldo) was kind, friendly, super knowledgable, and very accommodating to where we wanted to be picked-up and how long we wanted to stay somewhere. Daniel, the boat capitan, was a great skipper and made us feel safe out on the water (especially when we were a very small boat near a lot of yachts and playful sea lions). I appreciated that Waldo also gave us his personal recommendations for dinner and was very appreciative that we chose to spend our day with him. If you’re coming to Cabo and wondering what kinds of excursions will leave you enthusiastically exhausted, well-fed, appreciative of the local culture, and happy, look no further. If I could give this 6 stars I would!

Chris and Dennis did an amazing job being our tour guides! First, we stopped at the Marina. You have 2 options: spend 1 hr at the shopping mall or do the glass-bottom boat cruise to El Arco. Although the boat cruise to El Arco is not included, I highly recommended so make sure you take extra cash ($20USD or $400MX). The Glass Factory was so much fun to watch how much time and effort it goes to making a piece. Highly recommend taking cash or credit card. Further more, we walked around the plaza and visit a church. Lunch is not included, but you can buy your own lunch or pay $15 USD cash & they provide you with the lunch menu. It was very delicious! Tequila Tasting was amazing & of course bring cash or card to bring some Tequila bottles back home! Lastly, the Mexican candy tasting was great! They also have coffee tasting!

Wow! This was a fabulous tour and a great way to see a lot of Los Cabos in a short time. We had a boat ride out to the arch and lands end from Cabo San Lucas; went to a glass blowing factory; headed to San Jose del Cabo for lunch; toured a historic mission church; shopped at a great souvenir store; went to a jewelry store; had a chocolate tasting and capped it off with a tequila tasting where I had 15+ tastes. It was a very full day our our guide Waldo was fabulous, full of history and able to answer all our questions about the area. I wish the cost of the lunch and the boat were added to the original ticket price, but as there were a few in our party who didn't want to go on the boat ride, I guess that's why? In any case, well worth your time!

Uvaldo is an amazing tour guide! You could tell he is genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Cabo and Mexico. He really went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and kept us interested. My party was missing one person and we were hoping they'd be able to join later, so Uvaldo tried his best to alternate the schedule in order for them to join. If I'm doing a tour anywhere in Mexico, I want Uvaldo as my guide!
