      Somewhat disappointed...just so-so.
The all inclusive did not include everything I thought it was supposed to. I thought we were supposed to get towels and also that the locker was included for the price we paid. Whenever we got there, there were plenty of chairs but when the staff moved the chairs together he didn't get another umbrella and put it there so two of the chairs were out in the sun. The snorkeling was so-so. Everyone in our group had snorkeled before so we didn't really want to go on the tour. We went out by ourselves and even though we were within the boundaries someone would be yelling to stay with your guide even though we didn't have a guide. The food was not that great. I don't think I would go there again. Not for that price. Maybe I was expecting too much but I was a little disappointed in the whole setup. We've been to Cozumel many times but this was our first time at Playa Uvas.

      Rain, Rain, go away
Well it rained all day so we did not get the experience we expected but we still had a great time. Our tour guide Victor was awesome and very helpful. Riding the ATV's through HUGE mud puddles and washed out areas was a blast. We got soaked, but it was fun. Could not swim or snorkel since weather was awful, but lunch wasn't bad and alcohol was priced reasonably. I would recommend this trip to anyone. I'm sure when it is dry and sunny it is probably very dusty.

      10/10 Excursion
Our excursion was amazing! We started with our driver Alexander picking us up and headed to ride ATVs to the Jade Cenote which was so much fun. We went to a tequila tasting and then to the private beach resort for chicken fajita lunch and snorkeling. The snorkeling was the absolute best. We had a free tour guide that took us to different areas in the ocean. The waters are so clear and there are a lot of beautiful fish to look at. We would highly recommend this excursion and hope to come back one day to do it again. Thank you Alexander for spending the day with us and making it a great trip!

      Great Experience!!
If you like adveture this is the tour you need to take. Great views. You are really close to the sea and the trails full of sand. Our guide very helpful. The weather was extremly hot, but Oliver our guide was always giving us small gatorades. After the atv portion the lunch and the relax time at the beach club was a nice way to end a great day at Cozumel.

      Horrible communication and service
This tour was nothing as advertised. My family and I had a tour booked at 10:30 am and they never showed up to pick us up. We finally got ahold of them and they said that our tour was actually at 12:30 (we confirmed with them over the phone the day before that they would pick us up at 10:30 and our trip confirmation also said 10:30). They rushed to get us, took us to a building out of the way, just to pay $5 a person to enter a national park I'm sure we never entered. Why wasn't this included in the original fee? We drove around with our guide (Victor) to kill time until 12:30 and when we finally got on our ATVs, we rushed through the tour. Our guide specifically said that he did our tour in 1 hour, when it should have taken an hour and 40 minutes. We didn't stop to see sights, we didn't learn anyting about Mayan culture, and we never saw any ruins. Riding ATVs was fun, but our guide rushed us through everything and when people in our party were feeling poorly because of the heat, he also pushed to get them going again and they ended up leaving the experience early. The food at the beach club was fine and the staff there was nice, but we didn't end up doing anything else there (even though they said we did a snorkel tour) TLDR: Don't do this tour unless you want to risk wasting a whole day being jerked around and gaslit.

Wonderful beach day and snorkeling tour
This beach club is a hidden gem! Our cruise ship stopped in Cozumel and after a short walk through the shops at the port, we easily got a taxi at the taxi stand ($15 for up to 4 people) and took the 10 min drive. Even though we arrived before it officially opened, they allowed us in happily. No need to book through a cruise excursion or tour company. All of the facilities, beach chairs and umbrellas, a welcome drink, 30 min guided snorkeling and self guided snorkeling is included for the day- all for $20, with options to upgrade for unlimited food/open bar. The snorkeling tours are every 30 minutes- Roberto took me and a friend out for a tour (essentially a private tour) and he was wonderful explaining everything and making sure we were comfortable the entire time. We even got to see 2 stingrays. No worries about getting a taxi back to the port- there were many waiting right outside to take us back for the short ride. Overall, a wonderful relaxing beach day!

      Be careful with pricing
So there seem to be different pricing for whoever showed up at the front desk. I know we were overcharged because the people behind us paid $15 per person, but we paid 35 and then they tried to rip us off with a taxi cab going back but since I can speak some Spanish I got a cheaper taxi . Should not base price on how much you can take advantage of your customer . We each got one drink coupon . Besides the lying on the prices , it still was a very relaxing day. The beach has a lot of rocks, but I loved the snorkeling. I went all the way out, and it was really interesting to see the fish once you get past the rocks the beach is very nice. The pool was not really to our liking, but all of the staff there were wonderful. We would go back, but I would make sure that they didn’t overcharge us.

      Perfect Day
Playa Uvas was the perfect day for our family. American money is preferred everywhere in Cozumel. We look $15 taxi ride from Carnival cruise line. They had guides helping you get to where you needed to be after we walked through port shops. Short 15min ride to Playa Uvas. They gave us one free drink and $14 locker that we got half back. 30 minutes guided snorkel for $15 and 30 min kayaks. We brought our own snorkel gear to go on our own longer. We got beach chairs for our time there with umbrellas. They had a photographer during snorkeling that you could purchase disc with all pics, negotiate price that you are comfortable with. They also text you pics on Whatsapp. Make sure you get your pics, they accidentally sent us someone else's but corrected it. There were hammacks and they took great family pic on beach for us that we had a canvas print of. They had lots of souvenirs to sell. Caught a taxi back easily. We then went shopping outside port shops for better deals with plenty of time to head back to ship. Perfect weather and perfect day! Don't waste money on other places, great snorkeling for rocky side of island. You could snorkel on own to many other locations for free down the island Wear appropriate water shoes to keep from cutting yourself. They had sand bags to walk on and stairs to get in water so you didn't have to wear your water socks during snorkeling. Beaches smaller but pretty coral. Other side of island big beaches but not as good snorkeling.

      LOVED IT!
Food was awesome. Max made the best Guacamole I've ever eaten and Christian was the best sever EVER. The drinks came in small cups so I was a little worried, but they were strong and Christian made sure our glasses were ALWAYS full. The tequila tasting was great too! ❤️

We booked this beach as "Clear Kayak and Beach Snorkeling Combo", from Royal Caribbean, but all of the guides in the photos work for this location/company.
They showed up late to get us and they pay for taxis to get you there, constantly promising they are pay for the ride. The beach is rocks for 20 feet out and you better bring water shoes! The water is not accessible to the handicapped. To get people with normal capabilities into the water, there are sandbags over the sharp rocks. My mother uses a walker and I could barely get myself into the water without falling, so it was a no go for mom. Beers are $5 and drinks $10. Look at the photos they provide here. You will see only one photo with the "beach" rocks. The rest just show people in close frame. They own the whole place so money is the game.
At the end of the day, the guide and taxi dropped off have my party at the wrong pier , so they walked back to the right pier, about a miles walk.

This place is a tourist trap. The place is so far off from the pictures they showed us. It is a very rundown old place. The beach chairs are very old and has mold on them. The drinks are just juice with some cheap alcohol, and are in mini cups. There is NO sand on the beach, it is all rocks. No place to enjoy in the water swimming. The pools looked incomplete, just a concrete hole on the ground with very cold water. Don’t expect to hear great Latin or Mexican music, because even if you are in Mexico, they use an USB with Old American music. I think that’s how they think they will appear better to their American tourists. Nothing of this place made me enjoy Cozumel. Please stay away, if you are looking to relax on a beautiful spot, because definitely this place is Not it.

We went on a Shore Excursions Playa Uvas Beach get away from a recent cruise we went on.
It was to include beverages and food. We had to pay the taxi ride to Playa Uvas.

Positives: the location and the snorkeling was nice.

Negatives: Drinks-poor. No booze. The beach access was dangerous. Rocky and steep of the end of the dock. No staff around to help. You were on your own. I saw several people fall, be extremely careful. Once you got in deep enough the rocks were less sharp. It was the same on the way out too.

Of course there were people trying to see t shirts and junk. They were pretty aggressive.

The lounge chairs needed a good power washing.

I wouldn’t dare go in any of the three pools. Gross.

The food was eh. Cheese whiz queso dip. Yuck.

I just want to warn you, buyer beware.

We liked the shore excursion company but not this excursion.

Enjoyed this day on the beach. Welcome drink could have been bigger than a styrofoam cup, and beer as well was small. Snorkelling and beach chairs, umbrella and kayaking all included were worth the $15.00 each. We did have to pay an additional cab ride from the port and return back. . Drinks were priced a bit high for a beach bar in Mexico but that’s to be expected now in the resort areas of the Caribbean. Since Covid, everyone is taking advantage of price gouging. Almost as high as the cruise prices for alcohol. Didn’t eat there but food looked good. Facilities included. Would go back again next time.

We visited on a cruise snore excursion and did the clear kayaks and snorkeling. Our guide, Luis, was funny and extremely helpful and informative. We saw a few things in the clear kayaks, but the snorkeling was what really blew the family away. We've got teens and they considered this the best part of the whole trip, literally saw all kinds of sea life, including a baby shark. They loved it. Would definitely recommend. I only wish we had just purchased the tour directly from them rather than through the cruise line, it would have saved us time getting off the ship and to the beach club.

Had lunch and ordered pizza to be then told they had no pizza but had started cooking food so we could not chance what we had ordered.

Service slow, staff rude and unhelpful- on to avoid.

Final straw was when he brought the bill and laughed at the price and asked us if we had had a good meal. Then proceeded to tell us service was extra and we should leave a tip.

    We did, try harder.

    Nachos were disgusting and cold.

This was booked as you disembark from boat at outdoor store in front of cinema .

Our advise - walk on by and find another beach

Review of Carnival Cruise excursion "Beach Club with Lunch and Drinks" which we took on Sept 2021 sailing of Carnival Dream.

We've been to Playa Uvas probably 8-10 times before, and this visit was another great beach day. The property has been expanded in size with new pools and more beachfront space. Lots of loungers and umbrellas.

Really enjoyed great drink service from Edwin! He kept the drinks flowing during the 2-hour open bar. This excursion included a large Mexican buffet lunch which was delicious.

Transportation between the pier and Playa Uvas was included, consisting of minivan taxi service.

We were on The Carnaval Paradise ship and bought the excursion. UVAS private beach pass is a blast. I especially want to recognize Pedro and Joaquin, our fabulous servers. They kept the frozen Pina Coladas coming and made sure we kept track of time for the Guacamole cooking class and the Tequila tasting. These gentleman were so delightful to have as our servers. Ask for them!

We had to cancel our planned scuba trip because of the strong currents and ended up booking here with Walter and Thaleigha(spelling?). We had an absolute blast, loved their energy and they were so sweet! Only complaint is the beach was rocky so our kids could only swim in the pools but they were happy either way

This Beach was not crowded but had enough activity to keep all comfortably interested. The restaurant was AMAZING! The food was fresh and prompt. Make sure to bring water shoes as this beach is a coral beach and slippery in some parts of the water as a result. The water was on the cooler side in early Feb but clear and beautiful.
