Off-Road Adventure: Traditional Mexican Village and Sierra Madre Hike with Lunch
From US$ 109.00
Travel from the coast to the mountains and back again aboard a specially designed Unimog all-wheel-drive truck on this off-road adventure from Puerto Vallarta, a great choice for nature lovers and first-time visitors. Discover the rich natural landscapes of the Sierra Madre mountain range without getting lost and visit a traditional Mexican village. That leaves just enough time for a hike through the jungle and lunch on the beach.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at a convenient central location in Puerto Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta and hop aboard a specially designed Unimog all-wheel-drive truck for your off-road adventure through the Sierra Madre mountains.
Splash through rivers and bounce along rugged terrain, as you travel deep into the heart of the Sierra Madre mountains. Take in the scenes of rural life and visit a traditional village to see how families grow and prepare their own food. Then stop by a family home for freshly prepared corn tortillas, beans, and homemade salsas.
Next, take a guided nature hike through the jungle to see native plants and wildlife. After your hike, travel back out to the coast for a beachside lunch. Enjoy a drink from the open bar, and then end your tour at the original meeting spot.

Off Road

Great experience. Wonderful and sensitive guide. Good for people with no handicaps. Difficult for people who have knee, hip, and breathing conditions. Alot of mountain climbing. Wonderful hospitality and superb lunch in package.

Piled into the back of a big off road vehicle—and our guide, Uziel, knew all our names with the first 20 minutes. Visited a small town, short nature hike, homemade tacos at a local house, beautiful and delicious lunch on the beach...what made it all...More

We got a taxi to Vallarta adventures near the marina and you get on the truck there. There is a small light breakfast and drinks if you arrive in plenty of time before the trip sets off
