Guy in Tequila factory is a cheat!
The guy in the Tequila factory is a cheat! I purchased a novelty mug for his full asking price of 500 pesos. I momentarily turned to talk to my daughter and in that moment he switched mugs and wrapped one that had a broken handle that was a different style than the mug I had selected. There were no extra pieces in the very well wrapped package. It was damaged when he wrapped it. He Is a cheat!!! This business is all about tourism and this is how they treat their tourist customers!!

          Had a Blast
We had a blast on this tour. Never rode an ATV before, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. We were on the ATV’s about 45 minutes, and then we had lunch and tasted tequila. Was a great place to spend a few hours. Would recommend and we would do this tour again. Super fun.

          Great Day in Mazatlan!
I booked the hot springs tour for my friend and I months before our cruise ship stop in Mazatlan. Denise e-mailed me immediately after booking to arrange the details of our tour. The meeting place was in the marketplace at the pier, making this a great shore excursion choice. We were signed up for the hot springs, but told about the other options when we arrived at the meeting place, so we added a kayaking tour to our day. Our Wonderful driver and guide, Carlos drove us the hour or so out of the city and into the countryside for our adventure, telling us all about the area and stopping at a roadside stand for the Most Wonderful just baked, warm, fresh, empanadas. When we arrived in the city of Veranos, the Veraneando Adventure team took over, driving us to the Presidio River. We were in great hands with Hector who took us on an Amazing 2 hour kayak tour, guiding us safely and patiently through the beautiful calm waters and gentle rapids. We really enjoyed the tour even though I found 2 hours somewhat of a challenge, and it was really a Pleasure to dunk in the hot springs afterwards. The hot springs were followed by a Really Fabulous lunch spread including a soda or a delicious local beer. Our tour in Veranos was capped off by a tequila tasting with so many flavors to choose from. My favorites were coffee and tamarindo and I happily brought both of these home with me. After our Delightful visit to Veranos, Carlos drove us back to the city. He drove us up into the mountains for a Beautiful view of Mazatlan before taking us back to the pier in time for all aboard. It was a Very Full, Terrific Day giving us the flavor of Mazatlan!

          Great fun
This is an absolutely must do activity if you visit Mazatlan. The guides are friendly and incredibly helpful you will kayak down several Myers miles of the presidio River being exposed to natural wildlife and even a few rapids. Highly highly recommend this

          Disappointed
This was such a disappointment! Went to Mr. Lionso Ranch and thought we were going to town of Veranos. ATV’s were beat up and food was NOT good. Tequilla factory was unfinished and dirty. Would never return here. In 2023 same tour to Veranos and excellent food and tequilla factory tour was food. Nice ATV ride there. Booked with Pronatours at our hotel and they switched our location without telling us. Definitely not worth time or money going to Mr. Lionso’s Ranch!

          Bang for your buck!
This experience exceeded our expectations. For entertainment, great food and a super fun tequilla tasting — this was serious bang for your buck. The private strip along the beach was incredible!

Agave, tequila tasting and all terrain vehicle tour
Awesome experience! We had a tequila tasting, great lunch and a tour of the tequila making process. The agave plants were everywhere… it is an actual farm that the family has run for years. The all terrain vehicle tour was top notch! Our guide took us through country side and agave fields and then rode on the vacant beaches along the Pacific Ocean! I highly recommend this tour!!

          No driver came
The driver never picked us up from the resort. I called and talked to them and also texted. They kept saying the driver was coming. We waited one hour and 45 minutes. No driver. I want my money back.

          Beautiful river kayaking
I’m so glad we booked this tour. The scenery was beautiful and the wildlife was plentiful. Many species of birds, including herons, cranes, and ducks. It was interesting to see the cattle along the edges of the river. The kayaks were the sit - on style. They were fine although when going over the rapids, you were guaranteed to have water in your kayak. So a change of clothes would be a good idea. The rapids weren’t bad but a little scary for first timers. Of which we had two in our group , including an 80-year-old woman! I have to say, she’s not your average 80-year-old. Very healthy and fit. The lunch, after kayaking was wonderful! Delicious burritos, homemade tortillas with frijoles and pico de gallo, guacamole, and chilies. It was so delicious! And to top it off, we had flaming cheese with shredded carrots.

          Really good!
The trip was absolutely amazing! The tour guides were all super sweet and the tour itself was a pretty good length. The beach and jungle were beautiful, I would definitely reccomend having one person ride on the back of the ATV for photos. We also had enchiladas and tequila cheese which tasted SO GOOD. We had a mini tour or the tequila process and ended up trying the different flavours (they were all really good). I’d definitely recommend this for couples or families!

Wonderful excursion should not be skipped.
The trip to the location was about 45 minutes with very interesting sights along the way. There were 4 on the bus and 2 of us were going for the HOT SPRINGS and the other 2 went Zip Lining. Carlos assisted us in the Hot Springs pool which were very nice. Carlos administered a mud bath on both me and my friend after 10 minutes we showered off and went into the steam hut. After enjoying the steam, we returned to the hotter pool to relax a moment before a fabulous lunch spread of fabulous food and EXCELLENT tortillas (lol i ate 4). 45-minute return trip to the ship for a relaxing afternoon. Would definitely do this again if in Mazatlán.

This was a great tour! About 45 miles from Mazatlan, you pass a Rooster Farm, a Tequila Distillery/Agave farm, La Noira which is one of the oldest mining towns in Sinaloa, and a lake. The tour driver spoke great English as did everyone in the village. The zip line was above a canyon, it zigzagged back and forth, very short walks between lines. Definitely an easy zip line tour as far as hiking, the lines ranged in length, up to 300km long. The lunch was soooooo good! Then we went to the local tequila factory where they make flavored tequilas; almond, chocolate, espresso, hibiscus, and even marijuana.

They picked us up right outside the cruise terminal; we just had the find the guy wearing the Vernaeado shirt. After waiting for the rest of the party to arrive, they loaded us into a comfortable van with captain chairs and AC, for the 45 minute drive up the mountain to the zip lining location.

They had clean bathrooms, and plenty of personnel to get us outfitted and ready to go.

We boarded a very unique looking open air van (shaped like a tequila barrel!) and transported us up the mountain to the beginning of the zip line runs.

We had 5 guides helping the group, so we never had to wait for the entire group to finish a run before starting the next one- they kept everything running very smoothly and safely. They were fantastic!

They spoke enough English that communication wasn’t any problem, and they were safe, efficient, and really fun!

After the zip lining was done (11 lines of varying lengths), they brought us back down in the tequila barrel van, and fed us the most AMAZING lunch!! Absolutely delicious food.

We toured their shops, some enjoyed some tequila tasting, we bought some leather goods, and they transported us back down to the cruise port.

It was a favorite day for our group, on our whole cruise vacation. 😃

Visited this excursion on February 4th 2020. We were about 20 people in our group. Ziplines are perfect for first timers. They are not too long nor to high. Also had a great lunch, all food is made fresh and on the spot. Lunch is included so get your grub on. Tequila tasting and leather shop are also included. Tour bus driver was great and very polite, also offered to stop at local shops leading to excursions. Awesome time!!!

This was a fantastic Zip Lining adventure. It starts with you meeting your tour guide at the port (if you are doing this off a cruise) and they take you on about a 1-hour ride into the mountains. You then get a safety briefing and do 12 ziplines! One of the longest and most fun courses I've done. Can go upside down and really push your limits if you want!

After that, you have one of the best Mexican lunches I've had followed by a tequila tasting. I would absolutely recommend it.

Alfredo and Sergio were great! My wife and I were the only two people doing the ziplining out of our group and it was such a blast. My wife is scared of heights and she felt comfortable with the whole experience. The food was amazing. Best tacos we have ever had. The tequila cheese and molcajete bowl salsa were so yum. We would definitely be a regular if this restaurant was closer to home. Overall we highly recommend this adventure to anyone that is traveling to Mazatlan.

Our experience was great. We were off a cruise and had 17 people total. They accommodated us all together in a large van. It was about an hour drive to the village where the ziplining was. The zip lines were fun and there was 12 total. The lunch after was great, home cooked authentic food. We were able to visit the tequila factory and also a small store where the locals sold leather good and jewelry. Our driver even took a longer route back so we could stop and take some pictures along the coast outside of the port. Would highly recommend Veraneado Adventures and the ziplining tour.

It takes a little over an hour up some windy mountain road to get to the location. Be sure to take some motion sickness med if you’re sensitive. Guides were very nice and there were only 5 of us on the tour. I think there were 10 or 12 lines. I’ve done ziplining quite a few times at different places prior to this. One thing that’s different about this tour is you need to swing your legs and rock back and forth to slow down. No big deal and you get used to it. However the one thing I didn’t expect is how greasy the Zipline cable would be. The grease will splat on your face, your body, and clothes. Didn’t expect that and not sure why it needs to be so greasy. There should be a warning about that. You may want to wear dark clothes. Otherwise guides were great and lines were fun without being extreme.

We (2 adults and 3 kids) had a great time on this adventure! Everything was well planned and executed. The drive from Mazatlan to the zip lines was beautiful. The zip lines were a blast, and the food for lunch was one of the best meals of our whole trip. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to try zip lining!

About 4 hours in total, they pick you up at the port and it’s an hour each way. You get a glimpse of some of the smaller towns along the way. Once there, the staff was awesome. They fit you with all of the equipment and you board a tram to the top. There about 10-12 zip lines from 60-350 yards. Once finished, they offer chips and salsa and probably the most amazing tequila queso ever! A great experience. Highly recommended
