About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Jeanette J0 contributionsNot recommendedFar too busy , staff lovely but didn’t visit 7 islands and the plankton was a major disappointment…having experienced plankton before We only visited 2 islands 2 snorkelling stops photo of chicken island !Written 18 March 2025
- ViajeraSueca0 contributionsAnimal welfare issuesThe tour itself was good and the tourguide also, but I would not book with this agency again. They had a big sign promoting elephant riding, which shows lack of insight and/or concern for animal welfare. There were also three cats at the agency, of which two were pregntant, and the staff showed no understanding when I raised the topic of spay/neutering. If animal welfare is something you care about, I would not book with this agency.Written 18 March 2025
- 493saurabha0 contributionsSuperbThe guide was very well spoken and extremely helpful. I had gone with my 15yr old daughter who was driving an ATV by herself for the first time and the guide was very helpful to her as well.Written 18 March 2025
- kristinas7280 contributionsAmazing experienceAbsolutely stunning views 🤩 would definitely recommend to visit 👌the circle length is 6.5km but not difficult no previous experience is need and most of the time you're kaying in the jungle shadow so no sun burns 😎Written 17 March 2025
- markgG7136UU0 contributionsNOT for beginners! This is definitely not for beginners. My wife was almost seriously injured because of the difficulty of the trails. This is NOT a scenic easy ride. It’s basically following a guy through a maze of trails that goes way too fast to keep up for someone who has not ridden. There was no safety briefing or even simple instruction on how to operate the vehicle. They just gave us helmets and showed us where the throttle was… Also they forgot to pick us up. I had to call them and then they finally sent someone. There are other places to do this, and I strongly recommend staying away from this place.Written 15 March 2025
- callmezimmie0 contributionsFun afternoon on the waterGreat day out. The scenery is spectacular. The trip is fantastic. The ocean part gives you a chance to see flying fish, monkeys were spotted amongst the mangrovesWritten 14 March 2025
- Tah1231230 contributionsHonest company, swift to process refundAlthough advertised as on, the trip was not actually being run on the Friday we booked. We were offered alternative dates but could not make these The company gave us a complete refund Only scored as 3 because we could do the trip.Written 14 March 2025
- Safari060049749110 contributionsBeautiful but overcrowdedI will say the good things first. The travel agency did an amazing job. The team was simply amazing. The guide (his name is Coke) did a tremendous job and he was well organised, he spoke a clear English and he was super friendly and a kind person. The locations we visited were beautiful. I mostly enjoyed the snorkelling and the last stop at Bamboo Island because it was most quiet and wild and without thousands of shops. HOWEVER, all locations except Bamboo Island were hyper overcrowded. You need to be quick so the next groups could also go and see. It's full of social media maniacs who are there only to make the perfect photo to post themselves. If I go there again, I will make sure it is out of season and risk getting bad weather, but that is definitely better than being in a huge crowd.Written 12 March 2025
- 538JaneR0 contributionsThai cooking made easyWhat a memorable day. Thai cooking class with Penny was great fun even non cooks could produce a fabulous meal. Learnt so much and ate so much. Certainly didn’t need anything else to eat for rest of the day. So glad we did this and would definitely recommend to anyone else thinking of doing a spot of cooking.Written 12 March 2025

- 23christineb0 contributionsLots of people lots of tour boatsWe found out from the guide that because it was high tide there would be no fish to see when snorkelling. What stands out the most was the terrible meal we were served . We arrived on the island to see some people serving themselves at a buffet style table YUM we thought . We were then given a small container that had rice, salad and chicken in a sauce that was so spicy it set your mouth on fire! No coke as it said in the add , I didn’t really care but some people did . The fruit was served on the way back and it was not kept on ice so it was warm and awful.Written 8 March 2025
- jnegrier0 contributionsAmazing experience, unforgettableOne of the best tours I have ever done, the places were espectacular and the service was class, everything was just perfect and it was a great way to see the best about the islands and discover the diversity and magic that the islands offer I one to give a special shootout to the crew that guided us and commanded the ship, they are just amazing, specially Bort (I don't remember his name very well, apologies) he is a really sympathetic young man, and was always keeping an eye on us On our case, we mentioned that we were not gonna have lunch, as my wife and I are fasting due Ramadan. He totally understand us, and what's more, he and his crew saved food for us, and we end are on top of the ship after 7 PM, I cannot describe in words just how grateful we feel towards them, they are golden people 🙏Written 8 March 2025
- Ste9h0 contributionsLovely host and great fun!The Host was so lovely! He picked us up from our hotel and brought us to his kitchen. We selected the options we wanted to make and his staff quickly prepared everything to each of our choices. His explanations were very clear and he was so friendly! Made sure everyone in our group was involved and answered any questions! It was really fun :)Written 6 March 2025
- gladadventures0 contributionsEpic views and great service but a very long day!If you only have one day to see this natural wonder, this is a great tour for you. Just be ready for a lot of time in transit - perhaps 8-9 of the 12 hours (we left from Krabi Town and were dropped off in Ao Nang.) The driver was great and the ride was comfortable. The tour guide was very kind and generous, and we could understand her most of the time. Be prepared for physical exertion in the hike to the bamboo raft to get to the cave. The views were well worth the trip!Written 3 March 2025
- 752jacquelynt0 contributionsHighlight of our tripSo glad we booked this tour! The drive from Krabi is totally worth seeing the beautiful landscapes, and getting to kayak on the lake. The jungle trek to the cave was incredibly fun. Unreal experience! And the guide was amazing, so informative and friendly.Written 28 February 2025

We booked this trip last minute and were very impressed! These are popular destinations with tour buses but it did not feel too rushed or busy. This was perhaps because we had a small bus (only 12 or so people) and plenty of time at each stop. Our guide, Haty, was very friendly, helpful and organised!
Lunch was a tasty buffet, plenty to go around the many groups eating at the restaurant.
We would recommend bringing a significant amount of water with you/buying extra at the shop by the stairs, if you are headed up to the temple. The tour provides plenty throughout the day, but the climb is challenging in the heat and requires you to have more water. A beautiful view and well worth the effort, although we did not have enough time to see the rest of the temple areas or the cave at the bottom due to the climb taking us quite a long time (we didn't mind!).

Tiger Cave Temple was among our "must-dos" for our trip. I enjoyed the long ascent to the mount past monkeys, the view from the top and the serenity once there below the large golden Buddha. Unfortunately I did not make it all the way to the cave along the trail past the pagoda and the large temple is under construction but looks like it will be magnificent once finished. The Tiger Cave itself was cool but I only spent about 3 minutes inside.
The Blue Pool was fascinating and beautiful, the Emerald Pool meh, and the Hot Springs were a unique experience. If you really want to experience the pools and Hot Springs the tour is not a bad way to spend the day, though I might have been as content spending a quarter of a day and only 450 baht renting a scooter and driving myself to Tiger Cave Temple.

The distance from the parking lot to the pool is about 1 km, but if you walk along the promenade through the forest it doesn't feel that far. The emerald-coloured pool was truly amazing.
You can either walk a little to the hot spring or take a paid bus.
A thrilling river hot spring with lots of water and a clean hot spring.
There are no changing rooms so it's best to bring your swimsuit.

Me and my partner booked this as part of our time in Krabi. This was the cheapest excursion we booked however it was the best one we participated in by far.
From the get go that morning when we got collected from our hotel it was a very pleasant atmosphere. Our tour guide bass took the time to talk to us and explain different things belonging to the culture. Additionally, when we got to the different locations he took the time to explain them to the group and offered to look after our bags and take various photos etc along the way.
The lunch that was provided was excellent and the cashew nut chicken was divine. I personally would be a fussy eater and the smallest thing could easily put me off food however I couldn’t get enough of this.
The tiger cave temple itself was an amazing experience, but a tough climb. Yet again bass provided me and my partner with a bag to carry our water etc and waited for us to come back down the temple again.
The staff on this tour was out of this world and I would recommend anyone to participate in this tour as the staff along definitely made it better.

The places we went really were wonderful and worth visiting and our driver and guide were delightful, but the tour was so over priced it was ridiculous. It was basically just a driver to the 3 different places and then you had to pay entry to each with a very average lunch included. Definitely go, but book with a local agent for 1/4 of the price.

We had a great tour guide, Fatime with Oh-Hoo Krabi Tours. And the Emerald Pool and the Hot Springs were fantastic. When visiting the Emerald Pool, it’s definitely worth it to walk another 600 meters to the Blue Pool. But I don’t know if I would recommend the Tiger Temple. The 1300 steps are big steps and super steep, and the shrine at the top is just meh. If you go, take more than one bottle of water. With 90% humidity and high temperatures, you will sweat buckets! Also, I consider myself in relatively good shape. I jog and spend a few minutes on the stair master every week, but this hike pushed me to my limit. Maybe I came down too quickly. I was a bit wobbly afterwards and the next day my legs were still cramped.

travelled with a decently large group in two vans, with one van doing the half day trip and the other van doing the full day trip.
visited the hot springs first in the morning before all the tourists arrived, so it was pretty empty. but even with our tour group, it very quickly crowded the place because it was such a small place. word of caution to those interested in going though: would recommend wearing slippers, wet shoes or crocs, because the floor is quite rocky and it’s uncomfortable to be barefoot walking around and also uncomfortable walking around in wet sneakers.
went on to the emerald pool around noon, and went by the nature walk. found this one absolutely breathtaking because the water is just so beautiful! we left our bag hanging from a random tree and just went into the water for around 40 minutes. didn’t lose anything, and was pretty safe. word of caution to families with small children: the entire area is filled with moss so it’s quite slippery, but especially the side of the emerald pool. make sure to hold the hand of your child as they’re entering because it’s really super easy to slip, fall and knock your head on the stone.
after a quick lunch, we finally went to tiger cave temple and was honestly surprised by just how steep and numerous the steps were. be ready for leg day when you’re visiting the temple, because the climb up the 1260 steps is no joke! pretty steep steps that took me and my sister 45 minutes to get to the top, and didn’t even stay that long because we needed to catch our van back home. even the climb down can be pretty dangerous, so had to go down sideways to shift my centre of gravity. probably was just incredibly unprepared though because there were a few thai families that were visiting with their small children.
generally really enjoyed myself! the tour guides were very friendly and struck conversation with you while walking to the destinations, and were really accommodating. just remember to bring clothes to accommodate for this diverse trip: bikini, loose clothes and slippers or wet shoes for the first two visits, but also long pants/skirt for women and sneakers (anything with solid sole support for that trek up!) for the temple!

We went through this tour in June, it says by Oh-hoo company, however, the actual company that came for the tour was Cat something. The places that we visited were not in the correct order, for example, the most relaxing activity: The hot spring was done first followed by the second relaxing activity of Emerald pool and visiting Blue pool (almost 3kms walk), Tiger cave temple, if you're planning to go to the top of the summit be prepared for 45-50 mins hike and then 30 mins to come down, beware of monkeys on the way. The tour gave only 1.5 hours for this activity and the most strenuous activity was left for the last. There is a tiger cave temple located downstairs with just 100-200 m walk.

I've been on this trip before when I last came to Krabi, the spa pools were nice, we didn't go to waterfall as the water wasn't clear apparently, our guide was Apple 🍎 she was fun and friendly 👍🙏 emerald pool is clear and blue and wasn't too busy which was good, blue pool wasn't much to look at. The food buffet was good so there is value for money, after eating we went to Tiger temple, around 1200 steps to the top, the steps are steep but we were thankful for the wet weather as if it were sunny and humid you would definitely sweat alot. Wasn't impressed by the temple but the view is usually good apart from the wet weather where we could only see most up so high, be careful it's slippery on the tiles up there.

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with us! We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the spa pools, the serene emerald pool, and the delightful company of our guide, Apple.
We apologize that some aspects, like the blue pool and the temple, didn't fully meet your expectations, but we're glad you found value in the journey, especially the buffet and the views, albeit obscured by the weather.
Thank you for choosing Oh-Hoo, and we hope to take you on another memorable adventure soon!

Very fun day tour to hot springs, the Emerald pool and the Tiger Cave Temple.
The hot springs are right by the area where the van parks, so no hiking to it. Do be sure to bring a towel to dry off afterwards. The hot springs are really nice and relaxing with several different temperature pools to try out.
The Emerald Pool is another pool you can jump into. It's about a mile of walking to get to it and you pass by the Glass Pool on the way (which you can't go into). Past the Emerald Pool is the Blue Pool, which looks really neat but you can't go into it either. You get food at a restaurant next to the entrance to the Emerald Pool area for lunch and it was tasty fried rice, cashew chicken and tom yum soup.
Finally, we did the climb up the 1,260 stairs and ~300m/1000ft of elevation to the Tiger Cave Temple. This is really hard, you'll be sweating a ton and a lot of the stairs are tall. That said the view from the top is really good and there's a water fountain on top to refill your bottle. Be sure to bring a water bottle and pace yourself up this!
Personally, I would have preferred a reversed order with the hard Tiger Cave Temple climb first and the hot springs last to relax and recover from the climb.

honestly don’t think so — we were picked up at 9 am and ended around 5pm that same day. perhaps you can contact them to customise the tour and book it privately, but it’ll definitely not be for the same price. you might have a better shot at booking a tuktuk or a private van from your hotel or smth.
