We were a group of 13 that booked an island tour. Everything went very smooth from start to finish. We got to see both sides of the island and we also spent a little time at Maho Beach. We plan on getting back to the island one day and will most definitely use D &A again!

We were recently in St Maarten on a cruise. We booked with D&A taxi service to take us to do the Beach Tour. Domingo picked us up at the port and told us about the conditions at the beaches. We chose the 2 beaches that we wanted to visit. He told us a little about the island and was interactive when we wanted him to be. We went to Maho Beach first, but we just had a drink at the Sunset Grill and watched a couple small planes come in. He took us to a 2nd beach, Kim Sha Beach, where we rented 2 chairs and an umbrella for $10. We went in the water at this beach. Domingo suggested that we have lunch at Captains Rib Shack and it did not disappoint. the food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly.

We ported at St.Maarten, we booked a island tour van, the guide Eileene. She took us around the island including free water and cola and a cocktail house made . She is pleasant and fun to chat. Told us about the history of the Island. Took us to two beaches but she recommended Mulley Beach. It rained but she was very helpful and patient. Book her for your vacation visit.

Knowledgeable, professional, well-maintained van. He picks you up at point of tour choosing and takes you or road trip around the island with stops of your choosing. Excellent rum punch! Even helped me change out some silly guilders I got at the ATM. Highly recommended.

We visited the dutch side of the island on our cruise and took a taxi into town. The drive was quick and inexpensive. We visited the market and had no problems getting a taxi at the taxi stop in the town back to our ship.

We were blessed to have Domingo as our tour guide. He was totally willing to squeeze in every little thing we wanted to do! Each person in the family picked something that they really wanted to see or do and We managed to fit it all in. Domingo was very friendly and always had a smile on his face and lots of information about everything they asked and stuff that we didn't even know about. We would totally recommend doing this personalized tour, we did towards our last a couple of days and was able to fit all the stuff that we hadn't fit in yet! We went on a Friday which seemed to be a good day because there was no cruise lines and it was a lot easier to get around and not as many people to deal with. This is a family owned business and we like to pay it forward to the little guys. We are from Idaho and this was an amazing adventure to St. Martin is beautiful and the people are friendly and down to earth. Thank you Domingo we are so happy to have meet you!

Domingo was awesome! Took us on the best tour! Learned all about the history of both sides of the island! Took us to super cool spots where all ages loved and enjoyed the experience! Great information! Great local food! Great van that was comfortable and ice cold AC! Plenty drinks for the group! I would book this tour over any other! Well worth the money! Iguanas, goats, horses, dogs, planes, forts...oh my! A MUST DO!

Nell picked us up on schedule in Simpson Bay for our 5 hour private tour of St Maarten. He was very professional and polite for the tour. My wife had planned our preferred stops as the tour was billed as fully customizable. And it was, all good. We wanted to visit many beaches and Nell knew how to get to them all. The car was comfy and the complimentary drinks were on ice, a nice touch. We wanted to visit Friar’s Beach then maybe lunch in Grand-Case but he suggested we get lunch at the first beach bar at Friar’s, where he obviously knew the people. We enjoyed the beach, the hike over to Happy Beach, and lunch itself. We asked Nell to join us for lunch but he declined. So we were surprised to see an extra cheeseburger on our bill, for our “driver”. He had it in a take away carton as we left. He never said anything about it and neither did we, but it bothered me a bit. The rest of the tour was fine and I would recommend the company, just be sure to nail down the lunch plan so there are no surprises.

We had a wonderful day in St. Maarten. D & A Taxi Service was waiting for us when we got off the ship. They had a nice clean van and plenty of cold drinks. Domingo was great and customized the tour to show us what we wanted to see. He found us a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. He showed us around the island and gave us as much time as we wanted at the stops. I highly recommend! Don't miss Maho Beach for some plane watching and Orient Beach for water trampolines, parasailing and jet ski rentals.

We had a great experience using D&A for both a transfer and an island tour. They were friendly, on time and knowledgeable. We asked for a local restaurant for lunch and Domingo took us to a great restaurant in Grand Case. The food and service was fantastic. We will definitely use them again for our next trip.

We had a group of 8 friends on our tour. Domingo was our driver. He was amazing. We were able to customize our tour to accommodate our interests. Domingo was very knowledgeable about the island and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. We purchased this private, 5 hour tour of St Maarten from Viator for our family that was visiting the island for one day as part of our cruise. I always weigh the risk of not taking a cruise sponsored shore excursion just to have the safety net of knowing the cruise ship will wait for you should you run late. I did not have to worry about our timely return with D & A Taxi Tours. This business is family run by Domingo & Aline. Domingo happened to be our driver and tour guide. Domingo met us at the port and was waiting for us when we got off the ship. He took us to his clean, newer, comfortable van which easily held the 7 of us. His English was clear and he used a small microphone when he was driving so he could keep his eyes on the road and we could still hear and understand what he was saying. He supplied a cooler of complimentary beverages. We had a plan for what sights my family wanted to see, and he looked at my list and said that we could visit all of those sights and if it was ok with us, he would sprinkle in additional photo stops or places along the way that he thought we might be interested in seeing. We were never rushed. We did not get to one stop on the list as it was our last stop of the day and when we were going to turn in the direction, there was a traffic back-up which could have made us late in making the ship departure time. Instead of Domingo deciding that we shouldn't go, he said that our family needed to decide what we wanted to do. He would take us, or we could make another short stop on his list that was in the same direction as port. Domingo was happy to do whatever would please us. We skipped our last destination, made an extra photo stop, and he returned us to the port without us needing to run for the ship. He gave us some souvenir trinkets to remember St. Maarten by. I cannot say enough good things about D & A Taxi Service. Domingo really made our day in St. Maarten special and was willing to let us set our agenda!

My wife and daughter wanted it to some shopping and were not really interested in beach time. With this is mind I booked them a private taxi. I found this company on trip advisor and decided to contact them. They immediately responded and booking was easy. A map was supplied and where to meet and the driver was early (which they appreciated). As this was a mother daughter cruise I was the booker so I was very pleased to see a text from them later in the afternoon that firstly they were back on the ship but second they absolutely loved the driver and the service. He waited for them in Marigot and made sure they enough time to do everything they wanted to do. My wife told me that this is a family run operation and most if not all the people working are part of the family. It was nice to support them as they recover from last years hurricane. I would recommend without reservation.
