Embark on a 8-hour exhilarating adventure near the beautiful Carite State Forest located only 45 minutes from San Juan. Your guide will provide you and your small-group with interesting historical facts about the Taino Indian heritage as well as the sugar cane industry as you drive by valleys and plantation ruins. You will zipline 5 different lines, rappel 80 feet down the gorgeous El Salto Waterfall and enjoy a home cooked meal in a beautiful mountain setting.

What to Expect
Begin your day with a pickup at select San Juan, Condado, or Isla Verde hotels. After a 45-minute ride to Caguas with your guide and small group, you receive your helmet and harness and begin your Carite State Forest adventure. First, you take an uphill hike while your guide briefs the group on safety procedures for the day and shares local history and lore. You walk along the river and through the forest before beginning your climb up waterfalls—eventually reaching the top of El Salto Waterfall. Once at the top, you rappel down the falls as a group. Hike downriver with your group and take five different ziplines to the bottom of the mountain. There, you enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal, before you are dropped back at your hotel.

Elle and Mike really know their stuff when it comes to hiking, rapelling, and ziplining. It was safe and they always made sure no one was left behind. You have to be able to rapelling down the waterfall carrying your weight with only your arms.
