I wanted to warn people about this company. This review is about an apartment rental with this vendor. I booked a vacation stay with "PR Vacation Stays" 6 months in advance through Booking.com, at a beachfront high-rise apartment in San Juan. Upon arrival at the property, I was refused entry by building security. Texting the host, he claimed he had cancelled the booking due to non-payment. I sent him my confirmed reservation request, but he maintained he had not been paid. I did not have access to my receipt at that time, so I had to book elsewhere. After my return home, I provided the host with my proof of payment, and asked for a refund. I had booked and paid with a credit card, which was credited to his paypal account. Although he claimed he would refund my money, there was no credit to my cc account. Instead, he gave me a run-around, claiming my refund was "with Paypal, and I had to ask them, he has no control after accepting a refund". I told him that is not how it works, there needs to be some kind of communication from him to Paypal either in form of a credit to my Paypal account, or directly to my credit card. It is not the customer's responsibility to ask Paypal about a refund for something I didn't book through them, when they have no record of a transaction from my paypal account. To make it easy for him, I sent him a refund request from my Paypal account, and told him it was from me, sending him screenshots of the request. He could have just responded to my request and sent the refund, but instead he has ignored that request, and my further text messages. I can only surmise that they are one of these: (1) they are just grossly incompetent, losing track of their customers' payments, and then not having the integrity to make good on their errors, or (2) deliberate scammers, knowing full well when making bookings, they will not honor the reservation, and keep the payment.

Great experience. Tour guide on time. From our location our guide took us to la Placita en Santurce, in which we tried great fruits, also there was a kiosk which had really good empanadas and cold coconut water. The second stop was Guavate, where we tried good roast pork, morcilla and guineos en escabeche, our guide directed us to an area by the river which it was a good place to take pictures. The last stop was Pinones, there we tried bacalaitos fritos, alcapurrias (stuffed with crab meat), conch and octopus' salad (the octopus was super good); and let me not forget that in each stop we had local traditional beer, MEDALLA. Thank you for the great experience.

This place amazing and food was something out of the planet!!!!!! Totally recommend coming back on our next trip!!!!!!

Thank you Josh & to our tour guide Luis for an amazing experience. We booked with Josh and he made it very easy to book and always asked how our time was during the tour. Luis was an exceptional tour guide. Very very humble , talked with us the whole time , recommended an amazing food spot when we hit the beach ( mojitolab) ; the water slides were amazing. Luis made sure we felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Highly recommend booking this excursion.

The natural water slides and swimming holes were so much fun. Being older (68, 72 and 75) can make some tours very scary but not if you have the right guide, we did! Luis made my sisters and I feel like we were with family. He was so attentive, patient and kind. He recommended places to eat and even taught us some Spanish

What an amazing time on my private tour to the rainforrest! It was a perfect day for me and my family! We even went on their private food tour where we got to try some authentic Puerto Rican cuisine! If you are looking to have a great time, I highly recommend you book with PR Vacation Stays they are professional and knowledgeable. Host was extremely helpful. The waterfall excursion was everything my soul needed. After we went down the road to luquillo Beach. This beach was so beautiful and had a lot of food and drink options. They also have Airbnb’s and car rentals. I came back twice already with them. They made my stay stress free and fun.
