THIS was the everyone's most favorite day of the trip and one that will go down in our memories forever! The crew aboard the Catamaran was simply fantastic! The meal, snacks, and the mock tails served were absolutely delicious! The Catamaran was both large and comfortable. The restrooms were also very nice and clean. Icacos was beautiful, peaceful and the most perfect way to end our trip! God's handiwork was on full display as the color of the water and sky were simply breathtaking. We'll definitely be using this company again on future trips to Puerto Rico! Amazing job!!!

We rented a 40 person Catamaran as part of a weeklong wedding celebration. I had been on trips with East Island excursions on previous trips to Puerto Rico so did not think of renting with any other business. The crew was amazing - efficient, friendly,
helpful and always making sure our party of 38 were happy! They give you a nice packed lunch and then bring out fresh fruit as a snack after snorkeling. And when the bar opens, the rum drinks are plentiful and delicious! We had a fantastic 6 hours with the crew. When we stopped at our second site for snorkeling, Jalen threw some fish food in the water to make sure the fish came to the catamaran so the younger ones could snorkel close to the boat and she was right there belong them with their snorkels and making sure they stayed safe.
I will definitely be back a 4th time to cruise with East Island and if I'm lucky I will be able to cruise with Capt Jimmy, Jeff and Jalen!!!

Me and my boyfriend went out on this catamaran and loved it! They separated us by groups into our own tables/sections of the boat but you were more then welcome to move around. We sat at the very front by the net. The ride was about an hour there and an hour back giving you some awesome tanning time or time to enjoy just a nice boat ride. Drinks and lunch was included and it was delicious! About four different drink options. With COVID we did have to wear a mask for majority of the trip and you were not able to go onto the island. Most of our trip did not even snorkel but me and my boyfriend did and we ended up swimming out to the bridge and seeing schools of fish, a founder, a few dorys (whatever they are called) and we even saw a string ray! Overall great trip even with all the COVID precautions. I’d go multiple times in one trip it was totally worth it, and considering it’s one of the cheaper options for a catamaran.

We started off our day hopeful and excited, and ended it insulted and disappointed. The minute we stepped on the boat we were guided to the back of the boat and told to take our "assigned seat" in the scorching hot sun. My wife very politely asked one of the crew members if we could move into the shade since the boat was only half full at the time, and was told that the assigned seats were only temporary and that we could move around once we got under way, but for now we would have to sit where they originally put us. Unfortunately where they put us was likely the worst seats on the whole boat as i will soon explain. Once we got under way the drinks were very good, as were most of the crew, however since we were in the back of the boat the loud drone of the engines and the occasional waft of exhaust fumes made it very hard to enjoy the voyage. Once we got to the island and the beach the scenery was amazing, however we discovered we were sitting in front of the access to the rear swim ladder, so we were constantly being jostled and splashed by people coming in from the water to use the slide. My poor wife bore the brunt of the discomfort though as shortly after we arrived at the beach one of the crew members came by to remove her seat cushion so her "seat" was basically removed and proved the point that we were sitting on a staircase. He removed her cushion so the stairs would be less slippery for the people coming in from the water, which was safer for them, but didn't help us feel any less uncomfortable. After a lovely swim to cool off, we decided to move to the front of the boat as we were told we could do. We were able to enjoy the ocean breeze and the beautiful views from the front of the boat for the middle 20 minute trip, but as the boat was preparing to leave to head back to harbor one of the crew members came over to scold us in front of the other passengers. He told us that we had to retun to our "spot" at the back of the boat and that we were crowding the other guests at the front. So once again we were forced to return to our seats at the back although at least this time we got a full helping of public shaming and humiliation to make it even better. There are certain things that make a catamaran voyage special, like the snap of the sails and the breeze in your face, and most especially sitting just a few feet above the blue Caribbean water on a net, which is exactly why we booked one. If they can't treat all their guests equally then they are either overbooking their trips, or they just dont care. East Island Excursions managed to turn what should have been a fun filled trip on the East Wind catamaran into the foul stench of regret. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs.

Beautiful vessel, beautiful beach (Icacos), delicious lunch, plentiful drinks and OUTSTANDING SERVICE!! The hospitality of this crew was out of this world. From constantly circulating on the catamaran to check on your needs, to bring drinks to the beach or lowering them to you in a bucket while you relax on the floating mat, these guys made sure we were catered to every step of the way. When my friend lost her glasses in the water, Freddy and Christian grabbed snorkel gear and dived in to search. Even when we told them it was fine they continued to search. Such great guys! Ismael was an amazing captain…we always felt safe and Amanda was attentive to everyone’s needs. Book this tour. You won’t be sorry.

What a great day. Captain Robert and crew met us at the marina in Farjado. Very efficient getting our snorkel gear organized and onto the catamaran, Very thorough safety talk and logistics of being on the boat. Really nice cruise to Icacos Island with fun music and snacks. Dropped us on a beautiful sandy beach near a reef for snorkeling. While we were playing in the water, the crew prepared the most amazing lunch - three kinds of barbequed kabobs, fresh fruit, salad. And great drinks - alcoholic and otherwise. Captain Robert asked if we'd like to visit a second snorkel spot which we did. Again very thorough on safety and pointing out good spots to see fish and other reef life. The trip back to Farjado was really fun - cruising the ocean on a beautiful afternoon listening to music with the crew mixing great drinks. I highly recommend this tour if you want a memorable day.

This was legitimately the BEST excursion I have ever done! (I have done quite a few in various countries) The entire team was fun and so caring, and made sure everyone was safe while snorkeling and exploring the private island and ocean water. Christian and Manny especially took care of me and my friends. My bff was super nervous about snorkeling for the first time, I am not athletic or the best swimmer but I trusted their expertise and directions and I was able to snorkel with ease. They were so patient with us. I was also nervous being a bigger girl but they never made me feel slighted or fat shamed at all. They were helpful in the smallest and biggest ways. The music on the boat was good and the lunch served was even better. Because of Covid we had to purchase our own snorkeling equipment for $30 but it was well worth it! I would recommend this trip to ANYONE traveling to Puerto Rico. Definitely 10/10 EXPERIENCE!

This was the favorite day of the vacation - the staff was fun and VERY attentive and a great time was had by all travelers from 80 to 3 years of age. I would highly recommend this trip with these folks, snorkeling around the coral reefs to a nice relaxing few hours on a beach on a undeveloped island. Everything was very professional from easy check in to safety demos and the food and drink was perfect.

What a beautiful way to start my first visit to Puerto Rico! Everything promised was delivered and more: sailing on a clean yacht like boat, swimming on turquoise clear waters, exploring an inhabited island and strolling on its white sand beaches. The captain and crew were caring, professional and joyous and took care of us, with a smooth and safe trip, ample and delicious drinks and food and fresh fruit and snacks. we were spoiled. Thank you Stephanie, David, Freddie and special thanksgiving to captain Wilmer - thank you for your time and attention and for great conversation. I hope to see you soon. Blessings

I would recommend doing this excursion after the whole “COVID” excuse dies down. All the crew members were very attentive and tried to follow protocols which is why the lunches are pre packaged and the drinks are only local beer and cheap rum with some of the juices they have in bottles. I don’t see how bringing a sprig of mint to make mojitos or some salt for Margaritas would violate protocols much more than what the drinks they already offered. I believe it’s all an excuse to increase profits for the companies. Nobody was wearing a mask on the beaches or to get off the boat. Again the crew is doing the best they can but seriously give people what they pay for. Icacos was beautiful, the water was clear turquoise, only thing that would have made it better was the fresh bbq meats they used to offer and fresh crafted drinks. Other than that I believe it’s worth doing after the whole Covid pandemic.
