- Navigate5370450 contributionsCarlos was Amazing! My husband and I were transported by Carlos. He was very professional, very accommodating, always on time, and made us feel right at home. On a scale of 1-10 we give Carlos a 15. He is highly recommended.Written 11 June 2024
- normapS4837DE0 contributionsPerfectMy family and I had an incredible time doing this activity. It was my husband and I as well as 3 of our kids, all teens, 2 girls 1 boy. We got 3 rafts and all had an amazing trip. The tour guides were very informative and funny. We got some awesome souvenirs made with local calabash. At the end there is a little shop and restaurant and the jerk chicken wings there were the best jerk chicken I had on the whole island. I sat and talked with the owner for a few minutes and he was so nice. This is a great activity for couples or families, I highly recommend. We went early in the morning so it wasn't busy at all and the temperature outside was perfect.Written 25 May 2024
- mariebR2369FW0 contributions1000% pleasedWords can’t express how pleased we are! Shanice helped me for a month to plan the perfect trip, answering all my questions and giving suggestions. We did 2 separate full day trips with her driver Teric, who was equally amazing! He was so much more than a driver, he was a knowledgeable, helpful, professional and personable guide to paradise! Shanice and Teric made our visit to Jamaica more than we could have ever imagined! We can’t wait to see them again next year!Written 25 May 2024
- B4026FMclaudiac0 contributionsSecond time ❤️We had an absolutely wonderful day enjoying the delightful activity of Martha Brae rafting. Our esteemed host Damion, exemplified the utmost professionalism with his courteous and polite demeanor, ensuring that our rafting experience was truly memorable. Along the scenic river, we had the opportunity to purchase towels and garments from the charming shops, adding to the overall enjoyment of our excursion. Moreover, the delectable taste of the rum cake was simply astounding. We eagerly anticipate the chance to return to this remarkable place in the future. Thank you for providing us with such a splendid and professionally conducted outing while we were in JamaicaWritten 25 May 2024
- ErikaC19840 contributionsA lit ExperienceAt the beginning it was a little creepy. Our driver pulled into an area that of course is dark and we saw a bunch of locals at a hut. Being not from Jamaica we felt a little uneasy but when our driver talked to the lady at the bar and came back he told us what the plan was. We then went to the pier and boarded a boat that was going to take us out onto the bay. The crew was very nice and explained everything to us about the history of the bay and why it "lights up". The bay is very dark with very little lights except what is on the boat. To get the full experience once we arrived to our part of the bay he turned off the lights and said this is the part we can jump in. The bay really does light up as you swim in the water. The bottom of the bay feels really weird b/c you kind of sink into it a little bit. It doesn't feel like the normal bottom of the water that you would expect. So for myself I had to do a lot of high knees in the water to keep from sinking in the mud. They said I wouldn't sink but it wasn't the most comfortable feeling. To get the best view of the water lighting up is when your in the boat and moving. The engines really "disturb" the algae which makes it really bright. They do take your picture and you can purchase for a fee but if your phone is water resistant that will capture the light up as well. Overall it is an awesome time and would highly recommend. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is b/c I felt the Luminous Lagoons in Puerto Rico light up brighter.Written 5 May 2024

- psgriffi0 contributionsShaded rafting on a refreshingly cool riverRaft guide shared knowledge of flora & fauna as we swam, relaxed, ate snacks, and chatted with a few vendors on the river banks. Low water levels at this time of year meant the raft took ~45 minutes to run the course. Scenery was green, lush, quiet & relaxing despite the road running alongside the river. Water was cool & refreshing on a hot & muggy Jamaican day.Written 27 April 2024
- marilynh1430 contributionsWas it worth the wait? The driver and raft captain (124) were excellent. The wait at the actual venue was way too long. Pricing was a bit high and differed from booking site to booking siteWritten 23 April 2024
- Coastal1849740 contributionsFun experience. The water was nice to bounce in the waves. It got deep quickly. The beach was crowded but not unpleasantly so. The kids enjoyed it especially.Written 1 April 2024
- B4026FMclaudiac0 contributionsThank youCarlos is hands down the best tour guide we have ever hired. We travel 2-3 times/yr and we have never experienced someone more welcoming and friendly. This was our second time using JMT for airport transfer, they are always early and we have not had any issues. This time we booked a guided tour to Negril, our driver was Richie and this wonderful person was everything we could have asked for. He was friendly, knowledgeable and above all else made us feel safe and secure. Carlos is not only the best in the business but I consider him a friend as well. Thank you to Carlos, Richie and the rest of his staff, we appreciate you!!!Written 28 February 2024
- seasonedbysam0 contributionsBest trip ever! Request Rasta Pasta 😉If your rafter is called Rasta Pasta/Ronaldo then you are in for the best trip down the River Brae. Within 10 minutes he had us up steering the raft, singing reggae songs, jumping in the river and jumping in from a nearby swing! Such a chilled and cool guy, with so many stories and facts. Think it very much depends which rafter you get! Some in our group had a really fast and very quiet trip, others lots of stories and very slow and calm ride, ours was chilled but crazy fun. Really made our trip having such a great guy on our raft. Big up Rasta Pasta 💪🏻🇯🇲Written 12 February 2024
- 448glynm0 contributionsA Great ExperienceWe thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Martha Brae's Bamboo Rafting. Billy-John was a superb guide who shared wonderful local knowledge with us and made the whole experience really great fun. The rum punch was delicious too - if not a little deceptively strong lol. A really great visit and hugely recommended. Thank you.Written 8 February 2024
- wheretonext123450 contributionsBest day of our trip!Best day of our trip! Both locations visited were beautiful and so fun. It's great to have the flexibility with a private driver to stay as long as you want, leave when you are ready, and also to lock belongings in the vehicle for when you're swimming and can't have them on you. One thing to note - the drive to Blue Hole is really out in the boonies and there are many speed bumps, pot holes, etc. My friend felt road sick but luckily only for a short time, and arriving at blue hole made it worth it. Our driver Teri was great to try and keep our drive smooth, check in on us at the locations, and most importantly, get us back to our resort safely. As 2 young females we were a little weary of booking a private tour and not having other tourists around, but I'm very glad we did. The vehicle was comfortable and air conditioned, and had screens to watch music videos - I will say some of the hiphop/rap music videos the driver played seemed a little innappropriate/disturbing but if that's the worst of our day oh well lol. He did let us pick some of our music as well. Overall I would definetely recommend this trip! Thank you Teri!Written 18 January 2024
- 106justiny0 contributionsPlease Read to Avoid this ExperienceMy wife and I recently embarked on what turned out to be the worst experience we had in Jamaica, and it's essential to share our ordeal to save others from a similar situation. **Arrival and Sketchy Marina:** Our journey began on a promising note, with a friendly and knowledgeable driver who shared exciting insights about Jamaica during our ride. However, things took a turn when we arrived at a public pier. Amongst various boats, a makeshift marina welcomed us with a questionable "bar" serving a drink that was purportedly rum punch but tasted more like rum with some food coloring. It was so unpalatable that most of our group disposed of it. As tourists gathered on this pier, a voice announced the "glistening waters girls," and a solitary performer appeared on a makeshift stage. Her awkward and uneasy dance, devoid of smiles or joy, left many guests perplexed and uncomfortable. It felt as though she was dancing against her will. The discomfort escalated as two more girls joined in with similar routines. In the background, I spotted our bus driver casually playing dice with other drivers, adding to the bizarre atmosphere. **Boat Experience:** The confusion continued as a man referred to himself as "captain" instructed guests based on numbers to board one of the two boats. The lack of clarity regarding these numbers added to the confusion, and our driver eventually informed us that we were in group #2. However, our discomfort didn't end there. Once on the boat, we were packed in tightly, with the captain in civilian attire instructing couples and families to separate for weight distribution, further adding to our unease. The boat set off into the bay, and the captain was adamant about keeping all flashes and phones off so we could witness the "glowing" water in its full glory. After a while, we noticed a faint glow when the water was disturbed, hinting at the phenomenon we had come to see. **Photography and Safety Concerns:** As we lined up to jump into the water, the captain posed each person for photographs, which they would later overcharge us for. The photographer used a high-powered flash, which was wonderfully ironic based on the captain's instructions 2 minutes ago. The Sandals website advertised 45 minutes of swimming time in the glowing water. Unfortunately, our actual time in the water was approximately 4 minutes. I was stung by a jellyfish within 40 seconds of entering the water, causing excruciating pain and panic. Other guests experienced similar stings, and everyone rushed out of the water, ending the experience prematurely. The captain's assurance that the water was safe before our swim proved false, and our ordeal left us disappointed and in pain. **Tip Pressure and Strange Behavior:** To add insult to injury, the captain was fixated on collecting tips. He watched his tip jar like a hawk and called out anyone who didn't contribute. After such a dreadful swimming experience, his insistence on tips felt audacious, especially considering the $180 fee we had already paid for the excursion. To make matters worse, when we docked, the captain instructed us to cheer for him for getting us back "in one piece." However, one passenger, likely feeling unwell from the boat ride or the jellyfish sting, left the boat quickly. This led to a heated argument between the passenger and the captain, creating a tense atmosphere. **Research Reveals the Truth:** Upon returning to our room, we researched the excursion and discovered numerous complaints about jellyfish stings, contradicting the captain's claim that such incidents were unprecedented in his 19 years of experience. Whether it's the season, water temperature, or some other factor, allowing paying customers to jump into dark waters with the risk of jellyfish stings after promising a safe experience is incredibly irresponsible. **Final Verdict:** In conclusion, I highly recommend avoiding this company for the glowing water experience. While witnessing the glow is unique, the sketchy vibes, discomfort, and painful jellyfish stings make it not worth the risk. Whether you find another provider or skip it altogether, your safety and enjoyment should be the priority. 1 out of 5 stars.Written 15 January 2024

It was a long (but scenic drive) from Montego Bay, but totally worth it. Mayfield falls are beautiful and we were the only tourists there! We spent over an hour hiking up the falls and swimming in the pools. Our Mayfield guide David was excellent and our Jamaica Memerizing tours driver Kevin was safe and knowledgeable getting us there and back. Highly recommend if you don’t mind the long drive and are physically fit to walk the river upstream.

Our driver, Duane, took us to Mayfield Falls. The drive alone is an excursion. While driving, he talked to us about local culture and showed us interesting facts about the island. The falls were amazing. The creek was so clear, the guides were awesome. Great adventure for the whole family.
