        Stunning artwork and gorgeous vies
This was such an enjoyable and beautiful exhibit! If you are an art lover don't miss this experience. FYI the road to get there is very rough but our tour guide Maxine, or Pepa was very knowledgeable and capable driver. The exhibit space is still being completed but the artwork is unmistakable!! Don't miss it!!

        Natural And Sculptural Paradise!
This is our second visit to Jamaica Giants. We were there 2 years ago as it was being built. It is a stunning place with incredible mountain views. The paintings and stone sculptures are absolutely beautiful and so unique. You must visit this incredible place! !! Maxine and Mr. Matthews were so welcoming and great guides.

Nature is Art, Art is Nature
I was totally and completely in awe of this place. At the top of a mountain in the bush sits the vision of the owner, the creativity of the artists and the nurturer of the story teller/guide. The view surrounding the location, in itself, is artistic BUT the paintings and carvings are just spectacular! Art is never completed, it is ever evolving and that is true at the multiple installations of work. This is a must see on your list of excursions outside of your resort. Even if your not an avid art person, the adventure to the location and the views above tree tops is worth the visit. Thank you Melinda for creating an environment of education, Serenity, peace, meditation and stepping out of my shell (she knows 🙂).

Can’t say enough about this locale. It is breathtakingly beautiful!! Highly recommend this tour if you want to get off the beaten path and want to see other aspects of Jamaica other than the standard tourist traps. Can’t wait to visit again. Mind blown!
I expected to see a few carvings and some art, but I got a whole lot more than that! FIRST, wear comfortable walking shoes as you are walking up some hills to get to the gallery at the top. I hardly know where to begin and I don't want to spoil this for others. But, I'm not even into art that much, and I absolutely loved this spot. So many amazing sculptures and more are coming! The photo ops are incredible! there are amazing gardens and huge trees and so much art (only by one artist)! There is a lot of history here and the views are breathtaking. I recommend you bring some drinks and snacks and take some time to just enjoy the scenery and view before or after your tour (I suggest after so you can see which spot suits you the best). I highly recommend visiting this place. Even the drive to get there is fun with lots to see. After all, if you are a tourist, don't you want to see what the country has to offer - not just drink and eat and stay at the resort?!!! ENJOY!

        Jamaican giants
This place is amazing! Some friends and I stopped in and were given a private tour that was fun and educational. The history of the property is quite extensive from plantation to rain forest/art gallery. The artists are local and wicked talented. You wont be disappointed, possibly humbled just experiencing the treasures that await....

        Amazing
I have never seen anything like Jamaica Giants - a truly unique experience on a tremendously beautiful property. The art and sculptures are extraordinary, the talent on display tremendous and the views are simply breath taking. I feel to say much more would sully the experience - it has to be seen for oneself. Whether you're an art aficionado or just enjoy an experience off the beaten path in Jamaica, I highly recommend. And many thanks to Maxine, who was a wonderful tour guide!

        Spectacular
This place is extraordinary. Ricky Jackson has truly created something special here and his on-site manager, Maxine, is a tour guide par excellence. If you have any chance at all, do make the trip to Jamaica Giants. I especially recommend it for nature lovers, birders and art lovers. It’s wonderful for a day time excursion- perfect for special events. On your way there you’ll also get to see some beautiful, non-touristy Jamaican countryside. Go, it’s worth it!

        Do not miss these sculptures
Jamaica Giants is a secret gem that I know will not be secret for long. Housed in an old plantation of 3000 acres the owner has replanted thousands of trees of both the edible and non edible types. Magnificent limestone sculpture gardens, paintings, glass etchings and more. Go for a tour, call ahead and manager Maxine will come and get you. Her knowledge knows no bounds. You can do the entire experience in a few hours so spend the morning and then head back to the beach! Please follow @joannasable on instagram for more food and travel.

        Amazing
I toured Jamaica Giant in order to review it for my group on Facebook , Capital of Casual Negril. Along with two group members we toured this amazing facility. They are not fully open yet, but once they are up and running it is going to be a major contender on the touring scene in the Negril, Jamaica area, You walk on beautiful railed wood ramps between outdoor sculptures and two beautiful art galleries. You are surrounded the whole way with beautiful vistas of the Jamaican countryside and moutainscapes. I truly enjoyed this and can highly recommend it to you.

        Jamaican Giants
Philadelphia, PA We recently visited Jamaican Giants and were very impressed by Bruce Allen’s paintings and the incredible sculptures outside that overlook the hills. A sign at the bottom of the hill would be helpful for drivers who are unfamiliar with this fairly new but awesome place. A great place to see authentic Jamaican talent.

Coolest thing we did in Jamaica!!
This was a great outing...truly stunning. We learned a lot about the area from Maxine (who was awesome!). The drive up alone was incredible. The sculptures are amazing and the Photos just don't do them justice. Bruce Allen's paintings are incredible too. The whole place is kind of Surreal and it is hard to do it justice in words...just go!! I was skeptical, not being as artsy as my wife (I wanted to do a river boat ride), but this trip was well worth it and just meeting Maxine (who is fascinating) and seeing the mountain was worth what little we paid. GO TO THIS PLACE.

        Magical place
My boyfriend took me to this place but it wasn't officially open to the public. Maxine gave me a personal tour. It was beautiful. The local artist Bruce Allen was there at the time. He has produced some amazing work. The sculptor happened to be there also and I got to witness him in action. He's a very talented Rasta. The views were magical. Very peaceful and serene. I am so glad that I visited. I will definitely go back when I am there next time.

Hidden gem in a remote place. We strongly recommend doing this early in your trip. You can drive there yourself, it's accessible despite horrible road conditions, but very stressful, so I recommend taking a shuttle, especially if you have a small car.
The gallery contains stone sculptures of Jamaican animals and people, especially the Rastafarian culture. Most of the sculptures are outside and are carved by an artist in residence that uses the stones from the area.
After the sculptures, there is a large house, in which there are more works of art, mainly paintings. These paintings are done by another artist in residence. The paintings and the explanation of them by the tour guide depict Jamaica's landscapes and culture in high detail. This is why it is good to come at the beginning of the trip, as we felt some of the paintings offered previews of many of the places that we saw later on in the trip.
Then we went on the balcony, which offered a breathtaking 360 view of the island. We went to various locations in the island and found no other place that offered such a view. Great place for pictures.
The guide was the cousin of the owner, an elderly Rastafarian gentleman who took his time explaining every piece, whether it was a sculpture, or a painting, providing anecdotes or the history behind them. He also gifted us with a soursop as a souvenir and it was delicious.
Overall, the experience took about 2 hours.
      The price is $40/person.

Art work unexpected it the high mountains of Jamaica. The trees are so large ( the Jamaica giants ) they seem unreal. The paintings are so emotional , a person feels the true spirt of the jamacian people. The star of all are the sculptures, no words, must be seen, I am still in awe three years later!

This place is a great cultural gallery with paintings by Bruce Allen and great outside sculptures throughout a large area surrounded by nature. It I also had great views of the horizon and rich history. Worth the visit. Something for everyone. While I appreciated the wood carvings and paintings, my kids loved the large sculptures throughout the park. Be prepared because it takes one hour and half to get there from Montego Bay. The roods are not good. Do when there is no rain. The entrance fee is outrageous at $39, however they are willing to give a discount, ask for that. They need the support since this is a new touristic place.

Lovely paintings housed in two old buildings, well presented in a beautiful mountain-top setting. In the walk from one building to the other you pass through the sculpture garden on a boardwalk through a pretty tropical garden where the 2 large "Giants" are (Cottonwood trees). It's all very pretty, but not worth the $80pp (including transport) to get there. It was an expensive 2 hours for our group of 4! The day we visited, Twinkle was the tour guide and he was abysmal. He would point out the obvious ("That's a lion" in a painting of a lion, and "That's Bob Marley" in the many paintings of Bob Marley). It would have been better if he let the patrons observe the art on their own and just be there for questions. He also made inappropriate comments about the pieces of sculpture that were explicit in nature, in what was seemingly hopes to get a reaction from the 2 young ladies in our party. It was extremely off-putting. The explicit pieces alone are "fine", but inappropriate comments from the guide made them seem almost pornographic.

Wearing of face masks were not enforced (nor even mentioned). Our group wore them but others in the tour did not, including the guide (used it as a chinstrap), even indoors.

Greetings we are truly sorry for the experience and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience. The transport for 4 people is not 40$ USD per person we have a lower rate when a group of four. We offer a discount on groups of 4 and more we usually try to accommodate guests as best as we can. We are proud of our property and we do take any review at heart we will look into it very seriously and we do apologize for any uncomfortable situation. Once again we apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for letting us know

The trek up in my little cr was bloody brilliant, it gave a sense of adventure. Friendly locals alo g the way. When I got the I was greeted by the guide wrinkles, what a true gentleman or rastaman as he preferred!!as he showed me round the art work, he gave interesting g info bout what we were seeing, never was I bored. I loved the stories he told about the sculptures which help me to understand them more. I saw a hummingbird which as this is the national bird and is included in many of the pieces of art, was fitting. The views from upstairs, I can't even describe. I was in awe and had to keep catcjmhing my breath. It isn't cheap, but I would pay it again. Its worth the trek. Brilliant visit. Thank you so much wrinkles!!!

The art was nice and so was the view, but it is way over-priced and our guide was atrocious. She was very rude, short, full of attitude, and abrupt. I would not recommend just purely because of her. I would rather have gone through the park alone and NOT RUSHED (which is how Jamaica is supposed to be), than spend any more time with her.

This person did not experience the property because of the previous review the friend of the guide that was there then wrote a review to try to sabotage the person that is working with him as a matter of fact there isn't a female guide only a marketing manager this was very spiteful and ignorant to try to put bad rating on the property. There isn't any female guide and we would like this review to be taken off as you can see on TripAdvisor we have great reviews only 5 stars. They are targeting one person that doesn't exist and damaging the business please have this review removed thank you

First of all, thanks for the misleading reviews, I almost canceled my visit as I was concerned about the drive to the place. It wasn't that bad. I managed to reach the place with my small sedan. You just have to drive carefully (don't we all?).

So, the place is amazing. The view from the main gallery and the park is amazing. It was a nice stroll along the park. I really like the collections, especially the paintings. Everything is about Jamaica and the people.

I would highly recommend this trip. It will only take half day max from Negril.

This was my second visit to Jamaican Giants Sculpture Garden. The first was before it was officially open and many paintings were still not fully hung. Even then, the place was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful. As an added bonus, the sculptor, Fitzroy Russell was at work on the property, which was wonderful to see/watch. On this trip, we met the prolific painter, Bruce Allen, whose beautiful work hangs throughout the galleries. This place has a magical feel to it, from the artwork to the incredible vistas, to the ancient cottonwood trees. It is a very powerful experience. I will say the price of admission seems a bit high- when I first visited it was $20 US for the shuttle and entrance. This time it was $20US just for the entrance and an additional $20 per person for the shuttle - the price had doubled. I would urge them to rethink the admission price.

Great experience… the “setting” steals the show and is the greatest artwork in the gallery. If you are expecting a European style gallery you will be disappointed. The entire art collection is done by a single artist and sculptures are also done by one artist. My hope is that in the years to come this space will be a Mecca for many Jamaican, Caribbean and African artists and sculptors. Saying that the “Giant Experience” is one not to miss you will remember it for a very very long time.
