The destination is very well done, with plenty of friendly staff and things to do. The view from Mountain top is tremendous! Zipline and such for those willing to dare. Note: —Travel time to the venue was over an hour (1:15-each way) by private Van —Upon arrival, transferred to smaller pickup truck with bench seating in the back truck bed ala safari style. The ride up is long, steep, and VERY ROUGH— questionable safety. The better choice is to take a seat inside the pickup. Which we did on the way down, Much Better. Some larger groups were taken on larger “safari trucks” with open air bench seating, don’t know how comfortable that was. —Bar/Restaurant at the top only accepts Cash (or possibly CashApp ) The views are tough to beat!

Definitely an adrenaline rush. Instructor was great up until the end when his whole demeanor changed when we told him we didn’t want $80 photos. The snorkeling portion was okay. 200 of the same 2 types of fish. Left much to be desired.

Saona Island is magnificent but the experience with the company is not great. First, I understand we don't speak the language. It was just hard because the guide spoke in Spanish mostly. Second, The vendors especially the massage therapists in Saona Island were pushy. I came to relax but it was stressful to deal with them to the point that I just said yes so they will stop harrassing me. Last, the ride back to hotel. There was a drunk passenger in the bus who was talking loudly in Spanish then would speak in English as if he is mocking English speakers. Nobody stopped him even the staff. In fact, they enabled him by taking him to the store to buy another drink. When we got off the bus, he was forcing us to give a tip to the driver. We prepared the tip already but because we were frustrated, scared and annoyed at him, we just ran out off the bus immediately. It was a traumatic experience for me to even do another excursion in Punta Cana. We cancelled our 2nd excursion because of the incident. I know this is an isolated incident but your staff should know better. They should've stopped him for doing that. It was so disrespectful on our part. We don't deserve it. All we want was to enjoy our excursion, as what your staff always say," you're on vacation, enjoy!" but it ended so badly.

This is extremely fun! They let you drive while a tour guide directs you on where to go. They will drop you off at the party boat area at Bavaro Beach. Our guides name was Tony and he was awesome, by far my favorite excursion while in the Caribbean.

I purchased a roundtrip transfer with Vacation on RD via Marriott Bonvoy Tours and Activities. Upon arrival to Punta Cana the pick-up transportation was clean, the driver held a sign with my name, he was very friendly and informative. The problem that I encountered was with scheduling transportation from the hotel to the airport. I began contacting Vacation on RD three days prior to my departure for pick-up information, they did not respond until one day before my departure and only after I contacted Marriott to inquire about the company's lack of communication. When the company replied they informed me that they would pick me up from the hotel at 1pm for my 3pm flight. When I replied that airport arrival should be three hours from departure and asked for an earlier pick-up time, Vacation on RD did not respond to me and did not arrive to pick me up until 1pm. We ran into a little traffic on the way to the airport and did not arrive to the airport until approximately 140pm. For this reason I would likely not use Vacation on RD again.

Please, please, please don't waste your money booking with this company! We were not taken to the Three Eyes National Park to see the cenotes and were not told until we asked at lunch and were just told no, we don't go there today! That was one of the main things we wanted to see and were gutted we didn't get the opportunity. We also were not taken to the see palace or taken to walk down 'The Ladies' Street, all of which are advertised on the itinerary. We basically did a 6 hour round trip from the Bavaro area to spend over 1 hour at lunch and 1.5 hours in the city on a walking tour to see the 1st church of America the lighthouse museum and numerous souvenir shops that the tour guide obviously had deals with. We had two young children with us who are very used to travel, adventure holidays and sightseeing who were just expected to wait around outside souvenir shops (not what we went to do!) and got extremely bored, hot and fed up. An absolute waste of a day we could have spent doing something else, a waste of money and a very sad waste of an opportunity to see a beautiful city and its surroundings!

This exclusion is a must try! Beside the unlimited adventures zip line, atv and photoshoot; a time was had! Both guide Henry and Emmanuel was great company n knowledgeable.. Scenery Awesome

All was great the experience and all the staff . A good thing to do with family or couple . We will be back soon for more fun . They pick us at the hotel

Best thing I did on the hole vacation you get to see the real side of Dominican Republic the you have to buy the cocoa its great 100% recommend don’t do the hotel tours go with the local companies like this you get above and beyond any thing the resorts offer

The guides took a group of us out to the barge where we took turns with the scubadoo. It was a ton of fun! Great experience!!

We went on the scoobadoo trip. Driver was prompt and the place wasn’t more than ½ hour away from our hotel. We were extremely lucky that we were on the trip with one other Canadian couple, who were great. First we went out on a speedboat, next we transferred to a glass bottom boat and then finally onto the pontoon. We went down in our couples and the divers, Julio and “Mike Tyson” stayed with us the whole time. My OH was very apprehensive but he said they made him feel at ease. Plenty of fish to be seen and you get around ½ hour in the water. Lots of staged pictures taken (possibly too much time spent on these and not enough actually scoobadooing)! The package states refreshments and snacks, we were offered water or coke but no snacks? But in all honesty, we didn’t want them so for us, it was fine. The whole crew were great. We all said a few minor changes, would make this an amazing experience. Don’t get me wrong though, we thoroughly enjoyed it and came away with massive smiles!

Nelson was a very friendly guide and driver. He picked us up at our resort on time and chatted with us on the 1.5 hour journey to Altos de Chavon. It was a private tour for just my husband and myself. We arrived very early, 930am. This was perfect because no other tour groups were there yet. We had the entire village to ourselves. Nelson walked us around the village and explained the sites and took many photos of us. He treated us to a cool beverage when the tour concluded. The price for this tour was very good considering it was a private tour and quite a distance away from Bavaro Beach.

Was a beautiful place with amazing views and not really what you expect when you hear that you are going to a made-up 16th century village. It was very well done and as it has had time to become established it did feel like it was really old. The only thing I would say that meant it was not a 5-star is that it said the visit was with a guide in English, however we had a nice driver who did not speak much English. We managed but it would have been nice to have a little more information about the village itself.

Great experience starting from the pick up from hotel to the end of trip. Driver was very friendly, explained everything in detail, step by step what we will do and where we will go. Loved this place, great and nice views where you can chill having a cold drink once you are there. I loved it and would recommend definitely to the others.
