My husband and I did the full day tour with Ricky, who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We thought the tour was great and well organised, showing us different areas of the island and the diverse scenery of each coast with some great views. Ricky told us the history of the different areas, with some great local knowledge and stories. The lunch included at a local restaurant was also very good.

We did this our first day in Barbados to get the lay of the land to determine places we might want to go back. Our tour guide/driver, Cindy, was very knowledgeable & quite personable. We had booked a tour to St.Nicholas Abbey & we asked if she could take us there. She did that plus gave us a tour of the interior of the island. Definitely recommend this tour & Cindy.

We went up the east side of the island then to the north point and the back down the west side. Cindy was our driver and she was perfect. She knew everything about the island and took us where we wanted to go at a pace that was our choice. Definitely ask for her.

Driver was great. Need to have more stops to look around different areas of island. Maybe we picked the wrong tour. Lots of older people I mean I’m old but not in diapers yet.

Thank you for choosing RCR TOURS we happy you enjoy your driver and aspects of the tour , unfortunately we do not set a age limit on our tour or do we meet our passenger until pick up, our job is to make sure you have a great time as you explore Barbados, am sorry if you was trap on a elderly shuttle but the the toss up with group tours.

We took this tour to get a good idea of the whole island of Barbados. We did!
We enjoyed the tour, there were 8 of us in a minibus. Cindy was a great tour guide, giving current and historical information. We enjoyed the stops, varied scenery and the Plantation House. A great scenic tour, which was what we wanted.

Cindy our tour guide of the day was brilliant and really funny! We got picked up from our hotel. An easy way to see the island with someone who knows the way and where to stop. North Point was definitely the highlight of the day, with a complimentary drink from Cindy. We really enjoyed getting the insider look and information on the island. Lunch is provided and very good.

Most of the island tours are about the same. The island is only so big. I did a tour similar to this the day before and I had something to compare it to. The stops were different from the previous day, giving me the opportunity to see the North Point - Which was the Animal Flower Cave. We did not enter into any caves, but had some great photos from the scenic cliff. The driver bought our drinks there, where as on the other tour, there was rum punch and snacks served throughout the trip. This trip for me was kinda quiet, in an air-conditioned vehicle. The stop at the Sunbury Plantation was a treat because I have never experienced or seen one before. And the food served there was excellent compared to the other food served on other tours. Kudos to the chef! It was a low keyed mellow trip with 15 minute stops, other than the Animal Flower Cave, and the Plantation which had a lot of historical artifacts there well preserved. This is definitely not meant for the party crowd. Just calm and mellow day throughout the island. Great for older couples and families.

The tour took place on a mini bus with a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Cindy explained clearly where we were going and what were seeing, with plenty of anecdotes and jokes.
Some of the roads are narrow, windy and bumpy, which after a while led to a feeling of travel sickness, but there were several stops which gave the opportunity to recover whilst exploring the sights.
The weather was not great, overcast and rainy at times, but this did not detract from the dramatic seascape at St Lucy.
The tour takes most of the day and includes a mid morning coffee and a very good lunch.

I’m not sure what you are asking. Silver sands is about 9 miles away from Bridgetown where we were picked up. Contact the tour company and see if they can pick up from your hotel, otherwise you can get a cheap bus to Bridgetown.

Our ship is scheduled to arrive in port at 9 a.m., but your stated tour start time is at 8:15. Can this be adjusted so that cruise passengers can take this tour? Also, how long is the tour (full day doesn't provide enough information to know whether or not we will return to the port in time. We need to be back on the ship no later than 5:30 p.m. Thank you.

I have booked this tour. I am also on a cruise ship that docks later 10am Celebrity Reflections in November and we leave earlier too. I have had confirmation that they would accommodate my friend and I. Hope that helps
