We had a fantastic time exploring Coles cave. Grantley was a brilliant guide, he was super friendly and filled us in with loads of info on the caves themselves as well as Barbados and it's history and lots of other bits and pieces :)
We loved every minute of our exploration. The area around the entrance to the cave was very beautiful as were the caves themselves. We thoroughly enjoyed the climb down to reach the cave and all the clambering around inside made it feel like a real adventure. Going in a small private tour was great as we could pick our own pace.
The climb down was really steep, we used a rope to help us. Inside there's some parts that are quite low and others where you need to climb up and down and walk through water. We loved it but be prepared!
We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a more active and adventurous way to discover Barbados caves!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to see one of the island’s lesser known natural caves.
It was breathtaking from beginning to end and so different to anything we’ve ever done before.
Grantley was a genuinely lovely guide. He took the time to explain all the intricate cave formations, happily looked after our phones and took photos, and made sure we felt safe throughout.
We really felt that the experience was being tailored to our needs.
Would highly recommend this experience if you want to see a different side to what barbados has to offer.

We had an amazing time! We were a large group of 8 women seeking a moderate nature activity and this was it! Definitely a thrill seeking activity. Zack was our tour guide and he was wonderful, really took time to point out all of the history of the island and plant and wildlife during the tour. Also was sure to check on us and make sure no one fell, was hurt. All in all a great time!

This cave tour was extremely strenuous. It is only for the young and very fit. You must have good upper body strength and be able to crab walk for at least 30 yards before you’re able to stand up again in the next cavern. We were a family of 10, ranging in age from 78 to 12. Four family members were not able to participate at due to the difficulty getting down to the cavern entrance. And the tour guide only had six headlamps, which was OK after four family members dropped out. Geesh

We had an absolute blast today at Cole's Cave! Zack Wild was our guide and he was full of exuberance and knowledge, both about the cave itself and the plants/animals that surrounded us along the way. Always conscious of safety (watch your head, step here and then up and over), Zack made sure we had a fun and safe time the whole way. Highly recommended!

Honestly one of the best thing I did while in barbados. Galley was very sweet and made sure I felt safe and helped and just an overall genuine person. Would recommend this tour to any one who want to see the rare beautiful of this beautiful place.

My group was lead by Zack and had an amazing time! He was very informative and in touch with all things that the cave had to offer, including the plant life along the walk. He was very attentive to the group making sure we were all together and safe throughout. This thrilling hike is not for those who are nervous around bugs! A great time was had by all!

A brilliant couple of hours spent with the family and Grantley our guide.
Was a little hesitant to book this as my wife, does not like heights or been underground in small areas containing water.
Grantley was amazing in coaxing her into believing she could do it, and do it she did. We were all amazed at the natural beauty of the hike descending to the cave. The cooling air of the cave with its natural stalactites dripping the filtered limestone water from above was a refreshing break from the heat of the island. Then to take plunges into the natural underground rock pools just enhanced an already fantastic trip.
Grantley did a great job of making sure we were all safe and sound as well as providing us with knowledge of the cave and the island itself.
Would definitely recommend this for people of all ages who have a relatively healthy lifestyle. Totally different experience to the usual tourist trap adventure. Give it a go and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Grantley was an exceptional guide. Punctual, accommodating, knowledgeable and could effortlessly take your mind off the cave crawlies. He was also helpful enough to suggest other hikes we could do on our own and a great restaurant.
It was really amazing experiencing a 100% natural and untouched cave like this away from the crowds, at a pace comfortable for you. I would definitely recommend this tour... even if you might have minor fears like myself 😅

Grantley's tour of the hidden gem that is Cole's Cave was easily the highlight of my trip to Barbados! It was knowledgeable, challenging and fun! It features, cave art, mud facials, water falls and pools deep enough for a soak.
I'm not a particularly outdoorsy or fit person, so I often lagged behind the rest of my group. Grantley's patience reduced my anxiety around slowing others down, and his and positive reinforcement helped me persevere till the end.
I highly recommend this tour for all levels of fitness!

I am traveling to Barbados on December 24th via cruise ship and I want to know if this excursion is suitable for cruise ship passengers as far as timing goes. My port day is from 8:00am-5:00pm.
