Overview

With close to zero public transport and traffic that’s really not for the faint-hearted, exploring Bali independently can be hard. Take the pain out of transportation and enjoy the services of a local guide on this convenient tour. Travel to four religious and cultural attractions—Tanah Lot Temple, Taman Ayun Temple, Gulingan village, and Sangeh Monkey Forest—in just one afternoon.

What to Expect

Your guide collects you from your Tanjung Benoa hotel in an air-conditioned minivan. Take a short stroll through Bali’s rice terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, relax with a traditional fried snack, and learn about rural life in the picturesque village of Gulingan.

Your next stop is Taman Ayun Temple, also known as Mengwi Temple, a royal temple with towering pagoda-like shrines and tranquil waters. Next, see the hundreds of monkeys that cluster in the towering trees of Sangeh Monkey Forest.

Experience the majestic sunset over Tanah Lot, the sea temple with its black lava towers and rushing waves, before your vehicle drops you back at your hotel.

Monkey Forest

It’s a must see place the most well behaved monkeys I’ve ever seen wondering around the forest of their own! I was skeptical at first from reading some reviews about some negative remarks about the monkeys but I’m thankful I went to see for myself!...More

Beautiful but scary

In the forest itself it is very beautiful, but the monkeys themselves are not so friendly, especially the big ones, thank God no one monkey did not jump on our head, otherwise I think it would not be very pleasant, they fight among themselves sometimes...More

Took an independent guided tour here earlier today. What an amazing place👍 Buy some small bananas off the guides and the monkeys will love you and happily scoot with them for a bite to eat👍 Great place to go, - just be mindful of the...More

Hi We did a Private Tour and yes, we incorporated the Coffee tasting place during the day too.. If you go to the Coffee tasting venue, you have to try the CatPooChino Coffee - strong in taste, but awesome 👍
