- O8381KLnicks0 contributionsI entered the world of animeThe private guide tour in Tokyo was truly an amazing experience! The first stop was a maid cafe, where it felt like stepping into an anime world. The staff were incredibly kind, and I had a great time surrounded by what felt like anime characters. The atmosphere of the cafe was unique, offering an immersive and fun experience that was truly out of the ordinary. Next, we went to a yakiniku restaurant where we enjoyed the best wagyu beef. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and each bite was tender and juicy, melting in my mouth with deliciousness. I left feeling both full and content, completely satisfied. The tour ended at a unique "muscle bar," where muscular staff members prepared cocktails and drinks with entertaining performances. It was full of fun and laughter, especially the impressive cocktail-making show. Our guide was also very friendly and shared so many interesting spots and hidden gems of Tokyo. This tour gave me a deep and memorable insight into the city, and I’ll never forget these amazing experiences. I would definitely love to join again next time!Written 3 December 2024
- T7112MIdanielp0 contributionsMy best japan trip!🇯🇵I’m really glad I took part in this tour. It was our first family trip, and thanks to the guide and the planning team, we were able to see the highlights of Tokyo in such a short time. They treated me like a friend throughout the tour. Most importantly, I’m happy to have made Japanese friends. When they visit my home country, I’d love to show them around. I’d give this tour 10 stars!Written 2 December 2024
- Maria V0 contributionsAwesome experienceThe tour was great, we had a great experience. We our tour guide changed plans but for a great reason, she took us to a festival, where we were able to taste festival food. Which ended up being the best food of our time in Tokyo.Written 2 December 2024
- rachelsK511DL0 contributionsCustomized tour with fashion and foodThis private tour was a wonderful experience to fully enjoy Tokyo's fashion and gourmet food. Our guide, Riko, was very kind and suggested a course that suited my tastes. First, on the fashion side, I was really excited to be able to visit the latest shops in Shibuya, Omotesando, and Harajuku, checking out local designers and exclusive items. I was able to experience Japan's unique street fashion and simple, elegant designs, and was able to reaffirm the appeal of shopping that can't be experienced anywhere else. Next, for the gourmet part, we visited hidden gems and locally acclaimed restaurants. The fresh sushi, the exquisite ramen, and even the Japanese sweets were all delicious beyond my expectations. The guide also explained the background of the dishes and food culture in detail, so we were able to enjoy the meal even more. Overall, it was a very fulfilling day as we not only visited famous tourist spots but also got to experience the local culture. These private tours are attractive because they can be arranged to suit your personal needs, allowing you to have an experience that is a little different from other tourists. Also, I would like to participate next time!Written 24 November 2024
- katielY2107PF0 contributionsTravel like a localI had the privilege of taking a private tour through Tokyo, and it was truly something special. My guide, Ran, shared so much knowledge about the history and culture of the city, helping me understand a side of Tokyo that's not always visible to those on typical sightseeing routes. What stood out most was how we got to walk through a quiet neighborhood, tasting delicious local food, far away from the usual crowds of tourists. The tour felt very personal and flexible—Ran allowed me to explore at my own pace, which made it Even more enjoyable. As we wandered through the city, we spoke about Tokyo's cityscape and its rich history, and it felt like I was spending time with an old friend who truly knew the land. The depth of Ran's knowledge made the experience even more meaningful, and it turned an ordinary day into something extraordinary. I'm so glad I chose this tour—it gave me a true taste of Tokyo, the kind of experience that stays with you long after you leave. Big thanks to Ran for making it all happen. It was a journey I’ll never forget.Written 21 November 2024
- cindycU2039GN0 contributionsA great way to get to know TokyoRan was the best guide! She created an itinerary with us in advance, including all details and layover/meal costs, and gave us very helpful advice before leaving for Japan. Even on a heavy rainy day, our tour was perfect. We wanted to experience touching animals, go to places that appeared in anime, and eat delicious sushi. I saw and followed everything on the itinerary. Wherever you are, you will be happy to have Ran as your guide. Thank you so much, Ran!Written 7 November 2024
- B9275NRadamt0 contributionsThe first day of a perfect tripWe arrived in Tokyo for the first time last night. The guide met us in front of the hotel and gave us a brief explanation and self-introduction since we were not familiar with transportation or Tokyo. Our guide, Ran, was easy to get along with and was with us every step of the way. She was very friendly and helpful. They carefully explained to us all the information we needed to know on the first day, and we were able to gain useful knowledge for the rest of our trip. We highly recommend this tour, which catered to our needs and made it the perfect experience. You'll have a stress-free experience and be a happier traveler.Written 5 November 2024
- N6024COnataliel0 contributionsGreat introduction to Tokyo and Japanese friendsTaka was a great guide. To be honest, we had more fun talking to him than the sites we looked at. He's 21 years old, but you wouldn't know it! It was my first time going to Tokyo. This tour allowed us to see sights, take trains, eat some of the best sushi and ramen I've ever had, and make friends. Highly recommended. It's an easy way to enjoy Tokyo to the fullest. I sincerely hope to meet him again somewhere. If you are busy and have difficulty planning your itinerary, we highly recommend making reservations. He arranges everything.Written 4 November 2024
- G351IQbrandonw0 contributionsWould Recomend!!If you like ramen, you should make a reservation. Our guide was a Japanese woman named Sakura-san. She was friendly and knowledgeable about ramen and the history of ramen. We went to three ramen shops and tried and compared a total of nine types of ramen. Each ramen shop represents a variety of soups and spices from the history of Japanese ramen. Everything was delicious. Apparently there are no stores in America, so it was a unique travel experience. You can also purchase alcohol to go with your meal. The tour was really fun.Written 3 November 2024

- Chris H0 contributionsSakura San was the most amazing guide. She was full of energy and welcoming. Her tour was the best. I highly recommend!I highly recommend the tour! Our guide Sakura-San was the best! We learned so much and saw places we would have never seen without her guidance. Sakura San was so funny and educational at the same time. I recommend her tours without hesitation. She is a 5-star guide. I would like to try their other tours next time we are in Japan.Written 2 November 2024
- O3817BGjasonm0 contributionsBest ramen experienceIt was a really great tour. I didn't know ramen was so interesting. Our guide, Sakura, was very cheerful and very knowledgeable. The three venues were fantastic. It was a great insight into the respect and effort that goes into Japanese ramen. Highly recommended.Written 1 November 2024
- G5920LXmegant0 contributionsGreat day in TokyoWe had a great experience on this tour. Our tour guide, Taka, was very polite and reliable. I was able to see all the places I had planned on my customized itinerary without much effort. Taka had so many facts and interesting context about all the sites we visited. - tomdJ855MZ0 contributionsGreat little tour of the areaIt was a fun night. The lights in the area were beautiful and exciting. My group had a wide range of ages, but everyone was friendly and it felt like a party. It was definitely due to the skill of our guide Taka that we all got chatty. He was energetic and kind. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are available, so even non-drinkers can enjoy it.Written 31 October 2024
- V2163EAjessicaw0 contributionsA delicious and fun history course on ramen! This tour was so much fun! Mr. Kei was really friendly, funny, and clearly very passionate about ramen. You will learn a lot about the history of ramen, how it is made, and the profile of ramen, which will be useful information when you return home. Best of all, all the ramen was delicious. The rich soup ramen was very delicious. There was a lot of walking, but the experience was further enhanced by being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas and see a different, more residential side of Tokyo. We were planning to go to Kyoto starting tomorrow, and when I told Kei about it, she also told me about some recommended ramen in Kyoto. I would love to try it!Written 28 October 2024

Taka is an excellent guide, with a wealth of knowledge and great attention to detail. It was an ideal trip for me as he took me to restaurants I wouldn't normally go to and ordered many authentic dishes. I'm really glad I made a reservation. Thanks to him, I was able to deeply experience the local culture and food. He also has a friendly personality and I was able to enjoy a good conversation with him. I would definitely like to ask him again next time.

Our guide, Kei, was very kind and had a great sense of humor. I had just arrived in Japan and was worried because I couldn't speak English at all, but talking to Kei put me at ease. His English is perfect! He taught me a lot of know-how to make my trip to Japan smooth. I made a reservation on the first day I came to Japan and it was a good decision. I wish him success in his business!

Sakura guided us around the local area perfectly! In addition to drinking, we also enjoyed local food, shopping, and playing games. Without her, we would have ended our trip at a mediocre restaurant without ever getting to know the real Ueno. We highly recommend this tour!

Amazing tour guide!
The Izakaya looks the same though, The one we went to had a great atmosphere. The guide was very helpful and good at telling us which sake to choose! Furthermore, taught us how to take pictures and animations in the Japanese style. Recommend for those who want to learn more about Japanese culture.

The tour with Rin was fun and informative. We visited local restaurants and bars in the Ueno area that are frequented by locals. The variety of food and drinks was excellent, and the portions were plentiful. Rin is an enthusiastic and efficient guide. He was very friendly and the whole experience was very enjoyable.

We had a great time during this food tour with Sakura. We were able to experience true izakayas with her where the locals go, that we would have definitely not been able to navigate ourselves. We had many drinks along the way and ended the tour with some delicious ramen!
