About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- garyhc120 contributionsGreat half day outChris the guide was excellent and knowledgable about the island so we learned a lot about the local history before we got to the Plantation. We also met the owners son, Simon who was very welcoming and helped with the rum tastingWritten 2 November 2024
- 454winstonm0 contributionsRum tourWe had an amazing trip. The views were spectacular and Winston was the best. Highly recommend to anyone even if you don’t like rum!Written 30 October 2024
- lindamL5591KT0 contributionsLovely experience! Our guide Clyne made sure we got the best of Barbados 🇧🇧 he also made sure to share some history and knowledge of their beautiful island, very informative. I will definitely recommend his services to friends and family.Written 29 October 2024
- RonR1270 contributionsFun Day at the Beach & SnorkelingFun day, hanging out at the beach and taking a short cruise to snorkel & visit the sea turtles. Then we spent the rest of the day laying on beach chairs & swimming. There were food trucks to grab lunch and a bar. Water sports were available. We weren’t interested in doing the all day cruises as they seem centered on booze.Written 29 October 2024
- Lorraine T0 contributionsBrilliant tour, one of the highlights of our holidayGreat tour and experience, friendly and helpful tour guides. Well organised and comfortable transport. Informative and friendly driver, Charles, who made our trip worthwhile and enjoyable. Definitely would recommend.Written 28 October 2024
- E407VEdanieln0 contributionsTurtles and stingraysCrew were very helpful, managed to see multiple turtles and stingrays. Kids had fun on the slide. Overall a great 90minutes experienceWritten 27 October 2024
- PAPAJ690 contributionsGood but bumpy tourNice tour by tour guide Kwayme. Note tickets are non refundable despite any bad weather. Cave tour was great staff fun and relaxed and property has many activities but tour only alloted for cave tour. Would suggest a return on your own to see everything. Hunte's garden nice tropical flowers but BEWARE lots of steps...ALL steps steep hills. Wish there was a warning about this not even at the gate entrance! 3rd stop a quick picture stop would hardly call this a tour stop. Cons: Bus travel was far and through rough back roads yes a real back buster. Was sore and glad tour was over. Not sure if tour guide is told to use backroads or just there local knowledge but makes for an uncomfortable ride for sureWritten 27 October 2024
- jordynpa0 contributionsGreat experience! This was an awesome experience all around! The boat crew was helpful, attentive, and funny! We saw a few turtles, lots of fish, and a few shipwrecksWritten 27 October 2024
- nicolaj19770 contributionsGreat excursionA really great trip, staff were fabulous and very knowledgeable and helpful. Pick up on time and we’re there waiting for when we needed a lift back. - janettoli0 contributionsBeach main attractionThe driver/tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable about the country. The stops were not that interesting to me, except for of the mushroom rocks. The roads were horrendous and bumpy. However, the beach was fabulous, the highlight of our day. The day was hot and no rain. It encourage us to return to Barbados.Written 24 October 2024
- 598jemm0 contributionsBarbados Experience Day OutThey say first impressions count and it did for us. Our tour guide, whose name is Charles was an exceptional tour guide. His approach and manners on arrival was very professional, which he kept throughout the whole day. His knowledge and explanation of Barbados was excellent and any questions thrown at him, he answered with confidence. The tour itself was very good, although it rained all day, it did not spoil our day. The wildlife experience is good, especially the feeding of the monkeys, great for kids. The beach experience, on arrival we were given a complimentary drink, the rum punch was lovely, beach is clean. We recommend eating at Terry's Food truck, the food was very tasty. On behalf of the Jordan Family, we would like to say thank you Charles, also Jacqueline found you very entertaining. Keep up the good work.Written 22 October 2024

Firstly I have to say that our guide Charles was brilliant and really knowledgeable, but we paid a large amount of money for a substandard experience.
The tour was good until we left Harrison’s Cave. We were rushed out of the cave experience without time to look in the gift shop because of the right schedule of the tour. When we then got to Bathsheba beach, the lunch which advertised was actually: eight chips, two small fried fish balls, and three tiny cookies. This is not ‘lunch’ by anyone’s standard. Charles actually described it as a light snack, which I would agree with.
The vegetarians in the party, myself included, instead received a pile of chopped up lettuce (despite asking for chips). I genuinely felt faint with hunger by the end of the day.
When we left the beach we were then taken to St Nicholas Abbey because our tour had been combined with another. Between the detour and waiting in the mini but for Charles to see the Abbey tour people inside, we lost over 30 minutes of our experience.
We arrived at the wildlife park at 1.30 and were instructed to meet at the exit by 2.30. So we rushed round the park and were at the exit for 2.25 - this made the experience more stressful than enjoyable.
Charles however had had to leave to collect the other people from St Nicholas Abbey, and didn’t return until 2.50. This meant we had spent 25 minutes of our time sitting waiting rather than enjoying the wildlife park we had paid to see.
Finally, we brought our own water bottles with us as a precaution. I’m glad we did as there were no bottles of water provided as stated on the tour description.
We spent the vast majority of the day sitting in the mini-bus, not enjoying the sites we had paid to see.
I last went on one of these tours two years ago and it was brilliant with none of these issues, and I had raved about it to my children and husband who came with me this time. However, this was not a patch on the last time I did the tour and I would not recommend it as being worth the money.

Good Day. I am sorry you were dissapointed with the tour. We currently offer a snack on the tour which is changing to lunch from next month.
Currently we do run this tour with another tour that visits St Nicholas Abbey when Those on the tour you booked are at the reserve as they are 10 minutes apart. This however will also change by the end of Nov 2023. Most of the time it worked without a problem and most persons are happy with an hour at the reserve. I have never had anyone say that they felt that was a rushed experience. The reason we are splitting the tour is to accommodate a longer time at the Abbey for those doing the Train ride.
I do apologise that the tour did not provide what you had hopped. We are always working to make things better and with the two changes that will be implemented they will address both out your concerns.

A wonderful day out with 3 attractions in this private tour.
The guide (Chris) was very good. She arrived on time in an air conditioned car and provided lots of information throughout the day.
Harrison's cave was well worth the visit and we took the tram ride. A very organised and safe attraction.
Then went to feeding time for the wild monkeys next to the wildlife centre. They were quite friendly and we managed to get close for photos.
Then into the wildlife centre for refreshments before following the paths round to see tortoises, deer, alligators, more tortoises, peacocks, hens, birds, amphibians and more tortoises. Well worth a visit.
Finally we headed to Bathsheba beach and lunch at Dina's whete they catered well for my gluten free requirement.
Bathsheba beach was impressive and quite different from many of the other beaches in Barbados. A must-do experience and great photo opportunity.
Then, on the way back to our hotel Chris stopped at a pharmacy for us to pick up a few things.
A wonderful and memorable day out

My family of 8 (parents, their adult children and their spouses) went on this tour. Great way to spend the day seeing some of the best sights of Barbados. But really I just wanted to come here to leave a review for our driver for the day, Winston Marshall. He is a very knowledgeable and intelligent man that we really enjoyed getting to know and spend the day with. Tips for future travelers: pack a water bottle, and look at the eco adventure park that is there at the Harrison Cave. For us the cave was the main draw but perhaps for other families, especially those with children, you would want to devote a whole day to just the caves and eco park.

We had an amazing tour guide named Ryan who was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained the whole day. The Cave was spectacular and the Monkey tour was unique and very cool to experience. He took us to several beautiful points of interest as well including a wonderful local restaurant, the food was delicious.

This trip was an awesome way to see many parts of the island we wouldn’t have otherwise been aware of. Ryan went out of his way to make us feel taken care of. With countless stories about growing up around here he was informative, entertaining, and generally a great time. 5 stars! If you have a day and want to see lots of different things, it’s more than worth it.

This tour was awesome and very well organized, I highly recommend to anyone coming to Barbados for the first time. We did our tour with Charles and he was so kind and knowledgeable! The cave was a once in a lifetime experience, the snack half way through was delicious, and the wildlife reserve was so cool. We went right during feeding time so we were guaranteed to see the monkeys and other animals.

What an amazing tour! Our guide, Charles, was friendly, accommodating, and very informative as he drove us around the island. This tour gave us a chance to see many of our Barbados bucket-list places - Harrison’s Cave, Barbados Wildlife Reserve, Cherry Hill, Bathsheba - for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Pick-up was on-time and courteous with good communication throughout. VIsited Harrison's Cave, the Atlantic Coast, and the Wildlife preserve with plenty of sites and information along the way while driving. Being at the wildlife preserve exactly at feeding time is an expereince I won't forget....turtles, monkeys, birds, deer, and more all running over and through me to the same feeding pile. Very cool. Tour guide was great too!

Our driver Kwame was the absolute best!! He was on time, accommodating and extremely accommodating. We booked a private tour which was just me and a friend. We first went to see the caves which I 10/10 recommend. So cool. Then we went to the nature preserve where we not only saw wild monkeys up close but also peacocks, chickens, tortoise and other little critters. Then we ventured our way to a beautiful beach and had lunch. Kwame gave us recommendations of where to shop and eat and even returned my sneakers home that I had left in the van which I totally forgot I had done. Cannot say enough great things about this tour!

We did the Harrison's Cave, Hunts Garden, and Wildlife Reserve tour with Winston. We had the most amazing time! He was prompt and had so much information about the island and its history. It was a full on island tour as well with lunch and extra stops! Everyone was so friendly and made the experience worth doing again and again. I would recommend them to anyone solo traveling or in a large group! We’ll definitely be back!

We're a family of 6 and this is coming out at nearly £900. Why is this so hugely expensive?
We're in Barbados for 2 weeks, is this type of day tour aimed at holiday makers stopping over from a cruise ship for a couple of days?
Written 9 August 2022
Sounds very expensive to me and it is not worth that. Perhaps shop around and see if you can get a better deal. Good luck.

Hi, we are staying at sandals royal Barbados. Is this a pick up point ?

Apologies but I don’t know for sure, although they appeared to pick up from most hotels. I would get in touch with the tour operator as they seem to be responsive to questions.

Bonjour,
