We had the most amazing morning with the elephants and the team at the sanctuary. Lovely to see the elephants roaming freely and being well looked after by passionate people. Highly recommend supporting this sanctuary so they can continue their amazing work.

Wonderful experience, well organised & informative guide Dannis. Shown video on arrival & very sad to see that cruelty still goes on for these majestic animals. Sanctuary is ethical & will soon open the first veterinary hospital in Phuket which is so needed. Got to feed the elephants & walk the sight with them & their cahoots. Excellent refreshments provided. A must visit.

Amazing place very knowledgeable and informative staff. The opening video is very hard to watch but very necessary to show how the elephants are trained and why it is necessary to protect the elephants. Again value for money as well informative.

This was the best trip we have ever experienced on all our travels. We visit many destinations and this is a not to be missed experience if you like an ethical adventure. We fed and walked alongside the elephants in their open habitat. The guide we had for one hour “Jeffy” was very knowledgeable and told us everything about all the elephants and how they have been rescued and their health needs. We had breakfast, refreshments, lunch cold towels and pre-arranged transfers to and from our hotel in Patong, all booked on their website before leaving the UK. All together it cost about £150 and wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

A 'must do' experience whilst in Phuket. An amazing team and so much love and care for the elephants. The sanctuary is a paradise for the elephants and highly recommend this tour.

Very informative and worthwhile tour. 1 hour of elephant viewing time followed by a delicious lunch. They provided water and cold towels as the tour is in the sun

Pick up and drop-off were smooth. Once arriving at the sanctuary, we were given an instructional video and greeted by many people. We started off with feeding some elephants and doing a tour of the sanctuary. Lasted a few hours, but it flew by. Would go again.

Highly recommend this experience, knowing that all the money we pay to purchase the tickets goes towards the elephants and buying more to save. The tour guide was excellent and the lunch that was provided was amazing aswell.

Fantastic ethical tourism venue for retired and abused elephants. They are brought here from all over Thailand and get to retire from the mistreatment they receive in logging and tourism industries.

The Phuket Elephant sanctuary is a very well run organization. They picked us up from our resort and we had a wonderful tour through their amazing facility that included feeding elephants and watching them in their natural habitat. I would highly recommend a visit.

Incredible . Amazing to learn and see the elephants in a natural environment . So sad to hear their stories but wonderful to know living the end of their lives being so well looked after and as close to freedom as possible . Excellent staff full of knowledge. We had complimentary drinks and snacks . Great choice including fresh fruit . Lovely clean washrooms and a well stocked gift shop .

This was our 4th trip to Thailand and, finally, we have found an ethical elephant sanctuary. No rides, no circus tricks, no cruelty, just love and care for injured, sick or elderly elephants. If you want to see elephants in an environment that is as close to the wild as you can get, then this is it. Yes, you can still get up close to the elephants and feed them but you have to wash your hands first and there is no petting allowed. All of the elephants here have been rescued from circuses, logging or cruelty and will now spend the remaining decades of their lives being cared for in a humane environment with all of their personal needs met as naturally as possible. There are vidoes to learn about how this sanctuary is so different to all of the others, and the incredible staff will fill you in on all of the rest of the information that you need as you either walk through the forests or, as we did, take to the amazing canopy walkway which, in my opinion, is the best way to see them. I cannot rate this sanctuary highly enough and would recommend it to all families visiting the area.

What a great experience - organisation of taxi’s, staff knowledge and customer service and lunch. Great to see a private organisation associated with animals doing the right think in a region where animal laws need to change! Learnt a lot about a cruel trade and the elephant sanctuary setting out to invoke change and hopefully others will follow suit including the Thai government!

One of the best spots on Phuket: they actually save elephants from slavery rather having then sing and dance. Noble cause and worth all money.
