BEST day tour with fantastic guide!
This half day tour to the Canelobre caves and Busot was the highlight of my friends and i holiday. We really enjoyed the fact that we were in a small group and were able to interact with the guide and ask lots of questions in the cave. Guide showed us Busot town, lovely and got us a drink a fantastic way to end tour. 100% recommend!

      Fantastic day tour to caves!
My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the Canelobre caves and Busot town with Ali-Olí Tours. Our guide, Alberto was incredible so knowledgeable about the caves and everything Alicante. We entered the cave with only our small group of 7 people of which was private and exclusive as you see other tour groups enter in with the standard cave guide and with groups of 20+ so we felt very special! After we then visited the Busot town and our guide showed us around the town and then invited us to a drink at a local cafe which was a fantastic way to end the tour. My whole family really enjoyed this trip, memories that have made our visit to Alicante so special. The trip was worth every penny!

Fantastic exclusive experience at the caves!
A fantastic half day tour and well worth it! Our local guide was great very knowledgeable and funny, kept us entertained all morning! Learned a lot about Alicante and local culture. We were the first people to enter the Canelobre cave as our guide had access even before the cave officially begun their normal tours. We were a small group of 7 people which was exclusive compared to the big groups of 20 + people that are on the standard cave tours. After we visited the town of Busot which was lovely and our guide told us a lot of stories and we met some of his friends in the town. Overall recommend 100%!

      A great evening
Wow, what a fantastic way to meet such friendly local people and other travellers alike. Great way to explore the city in the evening and with such a knowledgeable guide, not only about local cuisine but also the city’s rich culture and history too. We ended our evening sat around a table with a group of strangers whom we otherwise would not have had the pleasure to meet, drinking vine and eating arroz. We sat for ages after the tour talking and sharing stories. A fantastic evening, it is well worth doing. We had such a great time, thank you Alicante Food Club. The guides were also incredibly helpful afterwards too in recommending places to eat via email and sharing tips on where to get the best steak in town. It didn’t disappoint

      Excellent. 100% Recommended
Excellent choice, my family and I always want to take a tour of a winery. This option exceeded our expectations, Alberto (our tour guide) was very kind and always explained to us, not only the history of the winery, the grape plantation and harvesting, and the process of producing the wine there but also he was explaining other facts about Alicante province and its agricultural products. The winery was excellent small but very nice, well-curated and maintained. The grapes plantation was good. And the wines offered were very delicious, as well as the snacks. Also, the attention of the staff at the winery and restaurant was excellent.

      Authentic and delicious!
Loved the fact that they support small locally owned and operated tapa bars and restaurants. The food selection was generous and delicious and loved all the wine that came with It! I learned a lot about the local food and the guide you could tell was really well connected she knew everyone and we had a lot of laughs with the locals. It felt like a night out with friends. Wonderful experience and they gave us a lot of tips and recommendations of where to eat locally! The value of the tour was totally worth every cent! Recommend 100%

      Lots of great food!
Rebecca was very knowledgeable and super easy to get on with. Introduced us to some fab new foods. My partner is pescartarian, and was very happy with the choice. There's plenty of food, don't worry about being left hungry. Generous portions of brilliant local food. We'd both highly recommend!

If you like to sample tasty food you are in best hands here
Great tour to learn about Alicante food and the small family businesses which are behind the most tasty experiences 😋. We started at the market, the 3rd largest permanent and housed market in Spain, sampled food along bakery, olives, ham, cheese and fruits. Visited 2 tapas bars, not touristic at all but visibly part of everyday live. Thank you Rebecca for the great morning we spent as a family of grown ups.

Best wine tour ever. Alberto was so knowledgeable about everything Alicante, the winery and wines in general. We loved every minute and bought some wine to take back with us.

Excellent tour. Alberto our guide was very informative and clearly knows the winery very well. He answered all the questions put to him and we did not feel rushed while we tasted the different wines . Would highly recommend this tour

Stroll through Old Town with experts like Rebecca, you won't be sorry.
We reached out to Rebecca in early August as we were setting up our schedule for our 3-week trip to Spain. This trip was focused on determining which city we wanted to move to in late 2025. Due to the specific availability of our Accountant and Legal peeps in Barcelona, our trip to Alicante fell on a Sunday and Monday, which is typically not a Tapas tour day. After explaining to Rebecca what our goal was and why we were coming to Alicante, she gratiously offered to take my wife and I on a tour that Monday night. It was above and beyond for her to work with us; we greatly appreciated it. Now, for the tour, she knew why we were there and spent a great deal of time talking to us about not just " oh, this food is good" but rather the history of the individual places she took us to visit, what to look for in a tapas place, and, of course, sampling some outstanding food. Additionally, at each place, she matched up a local to the region's wine, the history behind the wine, and the specific wineries the selection came from. Support small businesses like Rebecca and her husband. They truly know what they are doing and work hard to ensure that each guest is happy with their experience.

Lovely trip out to a local organic winery
Very well organised, our guide Alberto was a font of knowledge all things Alicante and was clearly passionate about the winery. I particularly liked that the winery used to be an olive oil plantation and you could buy olives as well as wine if you so wished. A very pleasant 3 hours at the beginning of our holiday . No hard sell at all.

      A wonderful afternoon out
We managed to book the wine tour 24hrs before on the recommendation of the local Tourist Information office. The collection just happened to be at our hotel which was perfect. Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. We visited a beautiful vineyard just a short drive away. The tour was just long enough and we tasted some amazing wines. One of our group had a birthday and our guide arranged an additional wine for us all and a little birthday surprise. A truly wonderful afternoon trip.

A really nice day trip to see the beautiful coastal towns of Villajoyosa and Altea with top guide! Guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining and had us laughing a lot of the trip! Loved visiting the small family run chocolate factory and trying all different types of chocolate. These towns are a must see when visiting Alicante. I recommend the Ali-Oli Tours team as they organized a few different tours for us that were excellent and really made some memorable experiences for myself and family while visiting Alicante. Thank you!

We visited to see the old town and painted fisherman’s houses. Parking was difficult but the underground on the beachfront was reasonably priced.

Cafes and restaurants on the front were plentiful and good value.

The old town had some interesting display panels and was easy to navigate around.

Booked this thru Ali-Oli tours. After many tries due to the minimum people needed, we were added to a Spanish speaking tour. Alberto was gracious enough to add in English were needed. This was a great tour! The two towns were great to see and made for a full day. I highly recommend Ali-Oli for tours and especially this tour. Your guide was the best and the tour company too

This tour is absolutely brilliant! The two towns that you go to are both amazing with their history, architecture and location. Alberto was able to really make the history of both places come alive.

The stop off at the chocolate factory is also very interesting and tasty.

If you only have time to do one tour while you are in Alicante, make it this one. You will not regret it.

The old town in Villajoyosa (the one facing the beach) felt very authentic, no tourist traps but only homes, very cozy to walk there. The beach was very nice and swimmable. The old town in Altea was beautiful but very touristy

Altea is a classic whitewashed Spanish village. Narrow streets, artisan shops lovely cafes and restaurants and great viewing points

The main square is really lovely with the church as it’s centrepiece.

A really popular and lively place with loads of atmosphere.

There’s a great viewing point just off the square looking towards Albea and just below the square looking towards Calpe.

Park at the bottom of the village and walk up to the top if you can. A great experience walking through the narrow streets and housing

What a fantastic area to visit with its colourful quirky homes and beautiful beach. The weather was in early 20’s / late teens throughout our trip and suited us perfectly. We will definitely be returning

We’ve searched our records extensively and have no record of you ever being a guest on our Charming villages tour. We provide private transportation from Alicante and do not use public transport as you have mentioned. Please place your review in the correct listing as Ali-Oli Tours provides group day tours.

Hi Barbara, We are sorry that you were unable to book the tour and had troubles booking through Trip Advisor. This tour requires a minimum of 3 people and for both dates requested for September the minimum group number was not met, therefore the booking was rejected or canceled. All bookings through Viator and Trip Advisor are via Manual confirmation which means that a booking is never automatically confirmed until we do so manually. It is noted on the booking page ¨Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability¨. It is also clearly noted in the tour description under cancelation policy: "This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund." We do understand your frustration with the booking process however unfortunately we have no control over the booking platforms function. We are in communication with Trip Advisor to try and solve this issue so that no other future travellers have the same issues. We would be happy to communicate with you directly to see if we are able to get you booked on a tour. Please contact us at info@aliolitoursalicante.com Thank you.
