We rented 4 mtb bikes and 1 ebike for a self guided tour to Nerja. Björn was very helpful with information and knowledge. The bikes were in perfect condition.

We are two older cyclists not used to offroading. Bjorn was brilliant. He tailored the day to our levels of fitness and skills. A beautiful ride along the coast on quiet roads and easy tracks. Coffee / drink / food stops when needed, a refreshing swim. A great day out with a wonderful guide :-)

My in-laws, and I, were going mountainbiking in La Herradura. We found NextLevel and entered a guided tour, set to medium difficulty. On the first part of the tour, Bjorn made sure to test our skill and endurance levels, and we actually split up the group, given that some would struggle with the upcoming tour. This was a great, and experienced, call from Bjorn, which definitely made our day better. The tour itself was great, with well chosen route, and options during the tour, to enhance or decrease difficulty. During the trip, Bjorn made sure to share his vast knowledge of the area. I highly recommend this tour for anyone with a decent level of fitness, it really gives a great insight into the local area, whilst giving an amazing exercise.

I contacted Next Level Cycling on spec after my wife picked up a flyer at the Tourist Information Centre, Almuñécar. I spoke to Bjorn on the phone and he agreed to guide me for the day and provide a hire bike. Our phone arrangements were promptly followed by a confirmation email giving details of cost, ID requirements, potential rides,date, time and location of where we would meet. On the day of the ride I arrived 15 minutes early and was met by Bjorn who had prepared the hire bike (Radon alloy, 105 Shimano, Mavic Askium wheels, 34x28). Bjorn quickly adjusted the bike to my needs, fitting my saddle and pedals. Also available if required were shoes, helmet, water bottles, water, energy bars/gels. The bike was clean, well maintained and fit for purpose. The workshop/garage was well laid out, clean, tidy and very professional in its appearance. The whole set up filled me with confidence. Bjorn gave the options of several routes, his local knowledge and assessment of the weather resulted in us taking the coast road and doing a loop up around Competa (75 miles/1,700 metres). We had a couple of social coffee stops and I was impressed with Bjorn’s general knowledge, his approach to life and his genuine passion for what he does, it was a pleasure to ride with him. The ride was geared to my ability and I got good value for money. I would have no hesitation in going back to Next Level Cycling and recommending Bjorn to my family and friends. A great day out on the bike with a true professional.

Anna & Björn organised my whole vacation in La Herradura and it has been more than perfect! Anna organised a very comfortable room for me at La Caleta Bay in La Herradura and I had 4 amazing days on my road bike with Björn. He is a superb guide, cycling buddy and motivator. We did 4 day-trips between 50 and 175 km which was a great experience! Björn knows the area very well. I can only recommend to join Next Level Cycling in one of their activities - you will for sure enjoy it :-)

Great MTB Tour with Next Level Cycling. My son and I decided to take the guided tour out of La Herradura. Björn, the owner of the company, was our guide for the medium level tour of 3 hours. We got to know Björn as a great guide, social man, experienced rider, knowledgeable about the environment. To start, we received great quality bikes, a snack and water to cover for the trip. Right after Björn introduced us to the trip, a short try out on the bikes and a chat on our fitness level. This standard routine allows Björn to size and fit the upcoming ride to the capabilities of the participants. The medium trip, turned out to be a perfect fit. A nice tour, mixed asphalt and off road, steep climbes combined with tracks for recuperation, living the fruit cultivation and plantations, glances of the snow covered Sierra Nevada, small villages,.... great experience in Andalusian hinterland. And as a gift.... we received nice pictures, taken by Björn during the trip.

My wife and I hired two mountain bikes in mid September for two days. The first day we went for a tour with Bjorn and it was fantastic, got to see a little of the local area and the fruit plantations. The bikes were excellent, very light adn the gear changes were very slickand fluid, just what you want. We would highly reccommend Next Level Cycling and if we returnt to the area then I'll be up for a longer more challenging tour.

We booked in with Bjorn & Anna to cycle to the top of Valeta in the Siera Nevada Mountains. The upward journey of 900 Meters of altitude was a bit of a challenge at 61 yrs old, but with Bjorn's guidance I was able to complete the climb without getting off the bike. The views are breathtaking as you cycle along! The downward journey of some 3,000 meters of altitude on the other side of the mountain. Can only be appreciated if you actually do the journey, it was quite unbelievable!!! The bicycled provided were all of the highest quality & extremely well prepared! Bjorn is an amazing, well informed guide. Every part of the adventure was very well planned, you feel you are in safe hands! A truly memorable experience!!!!

We can recommemd Next Level Cycling with Bjørn a very cool and professionel guy. We had a lovely easy trip in the Mountains and Valley with beautful views—The bikes were perfect.We will B back!!

This experience was amazing and really enjoyed the wonderful cycling above the resort of La Herradura. Bjorn was such a great guide and knowledgable of the area. Would defiantly recommend to cyclists of all levels.

I took a guided one day mountain bike tour with Björn from next level cycling. Björn is an excellent guide and biker: he is very knowledgeable about the area, knows the excellent trails, and is a really fast cross-country rider. On this trip I was the only rider and Björn chose an excellent route with a good balance of physical and technical challenge. The day trip was, in my opinion, excellent value for money. The hardtail hire bike was perfect for the terrain and was well maintained. If you are in the area and like mountain biking, I cannot recommend Björn and next level cycling highly enough.

We had a great mountain bike tour with Björn and would highly recommend. When we arrived he kitted us out, his bikes and equipment are really good quality. He then started by doing a short test ride to assess our level, then recommended a route he thought was most suitable to our fitness levels. We had a great ride and saw some lovely parts of the hills. Throughout Björn was professional and knowledgeable as well as good fun! Highly recommend for anyone looking to bike in the area! Simon

I went on a short (3 hour) mountain biking tour with Bjorn of Next Level Cycling, along with my girlfriend. Both of us are novices but having read the reviews and having had family that had been on a trip with him before, we wanted to give it a go. There was a short briefing before we started where we were made to feel comfortable with the bikes before we set off on our 20km cycle up and down the mountains. There was another man on the tour at the same time as us, and as he was more experienced, Bjorn adapted the route so that it suited both us and him. It was very hard work but a manageable workload for us as beginners, as well as being challenging in parts for a more experienced cyclist. My only serious advice would be to wear padded shorts!!
