- edwinc7690 contributionsHighly recommended!I booked pick-up from an airport hotel, and despite some concerns about the distance, I found it to be a fairly easy journey—definitely not too far in my opinion. If you're debating whether it's worth the trip, I'd say go for it! Sigiriya rock is stunning, much better than I was expecting My guide, Christo, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. He made sure to stop at multiple interesting spots along the way, which really added to the experience. It wasn’t just a straight A-to-B trip; we got to soak in a lot of different sights, which I really appreciated. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re doing the village tour, expect that everyone you meet will anticipate a tip. It’s not a bad thing—just something to be aware of so you have small bills ready. It’s part of the experience, and honestly, many of the people we met were lovely and made the stops feel worthwhile. Overall, a great experience, especially thanks to Christo’s guiding. If you’re looking for a well-paced tour with plenty of interesting stops, this one is definitely worth considering.Written 11 February 2025
- martindE7613ZN0 contributionsGreat day out with non-stop breathtaking views. However, I had to pay for a la carte lunch for me and the driver. The highlight was, of course, the train journey (one way only to be clear) with amazing views. The journey back by car was also scenic and took in a number of sites, e.g. waterfalls, tea plantation tour, park and gardens in Nuwara Eliya. The driver was flexible in terms of what I wanted to do/see. One note of caution - the driver suggested lunch and he took me to a restaurant for a sit-down, a la carte meal. He asked for the bill which was presented to me for payment for the both of us. I did not expect this nor had budgeted for it.Written 6 February 2025
- W2010EZhollyb0 contributionsWaterfalls, tea tasting and trainsWe had a great time! There were lots of stops on the way to stretch your legs and see some amazing views. Was well organised and they took extra care to made sure we got the correct train from the station.Written 5 February 2025
- elliefG2019DQ0 contributionsLots of elephantsAn amazing experience in January 2025, we saw lots of elephants. Very clear communication on pick up and booking. Great value for money and would recommend for anyone. Car was very clean and comfy.Written 27 January 2025
- darrendS2326HF0 contributionsA Great TourA great tour. The ruins were very interesting, but the highlight was climbing up Yapahuwa Rock Fortress. Our driver Christopher was excellent.Written 26 January 2025
- N3872NDkatee0 contributionsAmazing afternoon seeing elephantsThey messaged us to say we would be going to Hurulu eco park instead as that's where the elephants were at the moment, and asked if that was still ok with us. We said yes and had a great afternoon seeing elephants on multiple occasions. Saw over 20 in total, including a tiny baby. Our driver was great at getting us good viewing spots whilst being respectful of the elephants and others. We also had the option to stop a couple of times and walk up to some viewing points to get a great 360 view of the park. Great value definitely recommend.Written 25 January 2025
- C1005UAvincec0 contributionsVery interesting tour - and almost no tourists!Very interesting tour to three cool sites with no tourists! The history is fascinating and the views are incredible. Two of the sites are amazing and the third also quite interesting although not as impressive. It's quite a lot of driving for one day but definitely worth it. The driver was great - sharing his views on the country and sites with us. Our only complaint is that the tour should advise you that you will have 2 local guides at the sites. Knowing this is important so you plan for appropriate tips to them in addition to the driver.Written 18 January 2025
- DreamHolidaySL0 contributionsVillage Safari SigiriyaA great experience for foriegners to get close to old Sri Lankan village life. Worth getting this experience to see how the traditional cooking take place.Written 13 January 2025
- sakurakok7120 contributionsWild elephants with amazing service tour!Everything was great! We booked a 3 hour afternoon safari and saw many elephants, just being in the safari car and feeling the wind in our face was amazing. We received a confirmation message the day before and our safari tour guide came with plenty of time before the agreed time, and made sure we were doing good through the whole trip, so the service was great too! Absolutely recommend going, a full day is probably more amazing but if you’re short on time, 3 hours is absolutely great too!Written 10 January 2025
- amirsalars0 contributionsA great day outA great day out with Jayantha. He is very knowledgeable and kept us on track and on time for the trains. We saw some great scenic spots and the entire day was wonderful. Thank you so muchWritten 7 January 2025
- zainfootball0 contributionsNational parkNational park amazing experience, we saw crocodile, elephant, birds, fox, lizard. Did not see leopard, there are 35 leopards in National park and guide was good, love his job and tried his best.Written 1 January 2025
- michellepK2074ZD0 contributionsRecommend with guide Sana! The guide for this experience really made the adventure worthwhile! He was knowledgeable and very excited to share all the things he loves. Views were great and Sana went out of his way to help with photos. Only one word of caution is the traffic on very narrow roadways coming to and from the bridge can be a little tricky if you are not a confident cyclist. Also should have a decent level of fitness as there are some hills. I enjoyed it all and would recommend it!Written 28 December 2024
- 447giorgosm0 contributionsUnique experience at WilpattuThe safari tour was amazing! We had an experienced and very polite driver who showed us the best parts of the safari! We did not see a leopard (due to time- it is suggested to have the safari in the morning) but we managed to see almost every other animal! Would totally recommend, the nature is like paradise here!Written 24 December 2024

It was a wonderful experience in the bird sanctuary also it was not the season for flamingos. I saw many different birds like eagel...pelican.. parots...bee eater...peacock and many more I dont know the names. Many krokodiles...deers...wild pork...fox...monkeys you can see. It was an increadible nice landscape and the guide knows spezial places that are breathtaking. I saw one of the nices beaches of Sri Lanka and could take extraordinary Fotos. I highly recommend to visit Bundala National park. Organisation was easy and the tour is worth the money.
