1. Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur

The Mahabat Maqbara palace is a beautifully carved mausoleum situated in the Junagadh district of Gujarat. This mausoleum was once home to the nawabs of Junagadh. The building is free to enter and the design is a wonderful fusion of Indian and European architecture.
7. The Great Banyan, West Bengal
Located in the Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden in Howrah, the Great Banyan is a Banyan tree that draws a majority of visitors to the garden. The tree is over 250 years old and covers about 3.5 acres of land. The tree’s 2,800 aerial roots give it the appearance of a lush green forest.
8. Bara Imambara, Lucknow
The Bara Imambara is a historical monument situated in Lucknow. It was built by Asaf-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh in 1784. It is a building complex that includes the Asfi Mosque, a Bhool Bhulaiya (a labyrinth), and a step well with running water (baoli). It is fabled that there are 1024 ways to reach the terrace but only one way to come back.
9. Kalavantin Durg, Maharashtra
Near the Prabalgad Fort in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, you will find a 2,250ft high summit located in the Western Ghats. This is the Kalavantin Durg. Also known as Kalavantinicha Sulka, Kelve Teen, or Kalavantin Pinnacle, it is the world’s most dangerous fortress. Legend has it that it was constructed in honor of Queen Kalavantin.

Jatayu Earth’s Centre offers a complete ‘God’s Own Country’ experience to its visitors. The monumental statue of Jatayu, a legendary bird from the Ramayana, stands high up on the hill and can be seen from far away on your journey to Chadayamangalam in Kollam. You can reach the center using a cable car.
