Compared to Easyjet, TAP is a very small fish at London Gatwick, but their flight times and price were comparable so gave them a go.
Boarding for flight out was efficient, plane was very empty but Economy seats on A320 were very uncomfortable so lucky only a very short flight. Crew were friendly.
At Lisbon, the aircraft parked a LONG way from the terminal, all passengers got comfortably on one bus though.
On return, much smaller Embraer jet operating as TAP Express. Boarding not as efficient as the groups are ignored and everybody just ends up in one line with another long bus transfer. As flight was full, lots of carry on luggage ending up being checked at the gate which defeats the object of travelling with carry on only as it then meant hanging around at baggage reclaim. Luckily, Gatwick South Terminal is much quieter than North so only took about 20 mins extra.
This flight was more comfortable, with a 2x2 configuration on an older aircraft, but legroom was very good even in the standard seats.
Overall average is about right, for the 2h.30 flight from London to Portugal they are an ok option, wouldn't use them for a longer flight though.
Their website and app need serious work though, impossible to register from non Portuguese phone numbers.
