4 night trip to Seville with my wife. No hold luggage. Gatwick airport: The first major issue that we encountered was at the check in terminals where our paper printed boarding details (bar code) were not being read by the automatic readers. This delayed us from passing through this check point for about 10 minutes as many other people had...

There was very little in the way of customer service. It was like being in a flying supermarket. They continue to sell people stuff but your basic ticket gets you very little.

We flew SATA over to the Azores and EasyJet back and regret not getting round trip on SATA, which had better seating and legroom, some beverage service, and liberal luggage rules despite what they said on their website. EJ nickels & dimes you for everything and provides less service. Folks were in line with their backpacks and carry-on luggage, like...

Ok for a budget airline. Cheap and cheerful although extras can add up and make flights cheaper elsewhere. Flights normally on time or close. More room than other budget airlines.

We had a bad delay due to fog at the destination airport so sat on runway on a stationary plane for 2 hrs and no refreshment was offered even water which I thought was not good as it was 7:10 in the morning so most people would not have had much before boarding

I fly easyJet fairly frequently for work and for leisure as they are fairly reliable and relatively inexpensive (apart from in school holidays). I find their baggage rules frustrating: if you are at the back of the queue you have to take valuables out and put your hand luggage in the hold (so bring a small handbag that you can...

Along with many last week we were caught up in the French ATC strike. Due to leave Bristol we boarded the flight for the normal departure time. However once we got on board the Captain came out and told us the French ATC had delayed for 2 hours for take off just after 4pm. He then invited any body that...

My wife and I are fortunate to be able to go away a few times a year on the basis of "budget holidays and flights". Like a lot of people we use the "budget airlines" for a reason - they are less expensive and provide a valuable service. Easyjet from Liverpool to Faro and return is no exception and despite...
