The flight was scheduled to depart at 8:30am. It was delayed twice and didn't leave till 9:45am. Reason being "they were short one flight attendant. According to the airlines they must have (4) on a flight. Also, I don't understand why the board you front to back???? Doing it this way seems to create a boarding jam..

The plane was new and the amenities were great. TV in the seat ahead of you, Free WIFI, power in in the seat. For a long flight that makes it much more appealing. My flight home was in an older plane with TV in the ceiling so I used my phone to watch a movie through their WIFI system. I...

I have travelled with American Airlines for many years but lately the food is terrible. The bread is given nearly frozen and the pasta sauce is a mixture that is really bad. The breakfast muffin is too hot (why then the bread is frozen?) and too sweet. No more fruit and croissant. A person behind me complained the seat was...

They are 9 of 10 times on time so if you are late, you have a Big Problem. They will help you out to get a next flight. The service is great and they have time talk to you and/or answer any questions. Planes are clean and it smells nice.

There really is no first class with American Airlines within the US. Food is almost non existent and service is horrible. Today I had no outlets for my laptop or devices. The Charlotte to Indianapolis did not offer any wife entertainment either.

Avoid this airline at all costs. Staff are rude and you will be charged 100 dollars even if your luggage is only a pound over weight. If you book through British Airways and they use American Airlines then you are in for a world of hurt. You won’t be able to check in online or reserve seats. You will wait...

We flew on the busiest weekend of the year (Thanksgiving) American Airlines was ok. Not great, not horrible. Most of the hassle with flying anymore doesn’t have anything to do with the airlines anyway. It’s all the security and rules that usually preamps the small airline seats! I guess if you HAVE to fly, they are alright.

I've flown American four times now and, by that sample, 50% of time I have been forced to check my carry-on because they have run out of overhead bin space by the time I get the board. Whether this is problem with their low storage capacity or the size of the bags they allow to be stowed on the flight,...
