Venice Departing flight was late and we missed connection in Rome. After finally we found Alitalia transfer desk, we were facing "so what?" attitude. Finally we were told that they will place us on Russian airline, Rossia, in economy vs. our paid business. We were told "you better run as you will miss this flight....." At the boarding gate we...

“Likeliness” to recommend should be explained better: is 1 or 10 the best? Alitalia service, foods and Lounge for Business were excellent, but the lay-flat seat was narrow and short, no room for storage of purse etc. Uncomfortable and definitely no sleep, especially without the luxury (?!) of a/c vents and overhead bins (why removed?) above us. Only those in...

The worst customer service and so much waiting time! Would compare this to Ryanair. Only good thing is the price. But I guess you get what u are paying for. Cheap service

Flight form Los Angeles to Rome, I was traveling with my mother. I have a regular size carryon, my mother have small carryon (half size), my carryon have an extra weight, not extra size. At the counter to check into our flight, the girl (half Asian) insisted on take away the extra weight or I will be charged, she even...

Although we vowed to never, not ever, fly this airline after previous flights, we did do it in May and despite flying Premium Economy, the service (or lack of service) was as bad as in economy. Aside from tossing the inedible food at you, we never again saw a flight attendant during the long flight. The bathroom was filthy and...

This airline has by far the worst seats and legroom I’ve ever experienced. The trip was literally a torture . Sadly for me it was an eight hour flight which departed late and made me loose my first day program at Rome. Hope I don’t have to use this airline EVER!

Alitalia is a tired airline company. The people are tired. The ground crew look tired. The ticket agents look tired and the airplanes are simply old. But the worst part is that the airline has no customer service if you are from a country other than Italy, Our baggage was severely distroyed (enough for the airport to say “Wow”). We...

We went towards London with a A320 in which the legroom was at the minumum acceptable limit. During the return fly from London, we were transported with a smaller A319 in which the legroom was unacceptable. For the rest, I remained satisfied: polite crew,check-in and embark without any problem. I'll surely fly again with Alitalia.

Alitalia is certainly the worst airline experience I've had in forty years of flying. We upgraded to "comfort seats" for 200 extra Euro, and these bulkhead seats actually had LESS legroom and were extremely narrow. Food was hopelessly mediocre and staff was cold and completely inattentive. What are they being paid for? Forty-five minutes after finishing my "meal," I finally...

Controversy to the domestic flights with Alitalia, the experience with international flights in business seat was excellent, the service, the crue, the space for legs, the food really nothing to say. They don't reach the standards such emirates or Swiss but I can travel without any doubt again.
