If you are traveling for work, you should consider Alaska Airlines. It is a straight forward airline with a simple mileage plan and has great baggage service.

From the easy to check-in at Santa Rosa to the smooth landing in Portland it was a pleasure. Quite a small plane but a smooth flight. Friendly hosties, complimentary wine served. Spacious seating. All round great experience. I fly a lot of overseas journeys where you are looked after very well and I felt this short haul, domestic flight was...

They flew Alaska airlines from Seattle to Orlando to stay with some friends in their condominium. While there we visited Universal studios and Epcot center. Epcot was very busy not a very pleasant experience for us. Universal studios was a lot of fun the flight there and back went as planned we were actually a little ahead of time in...

I'm not sure what the exact difference is? But overall the seating is definitely more comfortable then United. We recently started flying Alaska because they allow small dogs in cabin on flights into Hawaii. They are the only airline left who will do this. So comfort is just a plus for us. But they are definitely more comfortable!

I spent the entire year trying to achieve gold status with Alaska and at the end of the year they cancelled the regular flight from NYC to Dallas. When I called and said I'm just a few miles away from Gold status and can't achieve it now because you cancelled my regular flight pattern they said theres nothing they can...

I love Alaska airlines, but they are starting to get cheap. The way over from SAN was pretty good but I had to rent my video machine (none in the back of the seat) and I was in premium seats. Then on the way back, there were NO video machines because the Hawaii crew didn't put them on the plane....

I recently flew the red eye flight from Maui to Portland. Although I hate red eye flights and avoid them whenever possible, this one was direct to PDX. The seats were actually much more comfortable than I expected and I slept most of the way. I try to fly Alaska whenever I can.

Alaska is a tired, poorly managed airline, that continues to skimp on service for bottom line profits. Awful. First class on this airlines is like economy on world-class airlines. The airlines has truly become the Greyhound Bus of the skies. I hate to think what coach fares where having to live through on this "average" flight. Equipment is broken; cleanliness...

Poor/mediocre service for first class. The dinner we were served was quite average compared to the first class meal Alaska Air's competitors serve. it was over an hr (7 PM PST) into the flight before we were served anything.....even a drink (In the meantime we had to settle for a small bottle of water that was at our seat when...

Beware! My family of 6 has to leave a day early and pay for three hotel rooms due to Alaskan moving up the last leg of our flight by 10 minutes. Now we don't have enough time to change planes. They refuse to pay for the hotels. They say it's not their policy. They have only offered $150 vouchers for...

Aircraft operate with two classes of service: First Class and Main Cabin (Economy Class). Premium Class in the Main Cabin, offering additional legroom and priority boarding, is being added to aircraft. Passengers flying in First Class have access to the airline's Alaska Lounge with locations 7 airports. On 25 April 2018, Alaska Airlines and Virgin America merged. The combined airline is known as Alaska Airlines. The combined fleet consists of Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, and Embraer aircraft.
