I say these words within the context of having experienced other airlines with similar service from Los Angeles, CA to other western European cities in each class of service offered many times under many circumstances. We chose Aer Lingus because of the availability of their Non-Stop service from LAX to DUB specifically. At the time of our booking we opted...

My first time flying on Aer Lingus and it was a very nice flight. It was ony a short flight from the UK to Ireland, about an hour to an hour and a half but the staff was very nice. The plane was an older one with 2 seats on each side. I was surprised to board the plane from...

2 hour layover on the runway and missed connection. Ran out of meals for the transatlantic flight. Wife was sick from turbulence and when I asked for a sprite, three of the flight attendants informed me they were on break and that I would have better luck in the forward galley. Truly horrific experience.

We had booked our Aer Lingus flights as part of a planned joint trip with relatives who were flying from a different city on a different airline. One of the relatives had to have emergency heart surgery and had to cancel. I tried to call Aer Lingus--I spent 8-10 hours in all but never got thru. I called the site...

They dont seem to use any Known Traveler system or they ignore them. They cant get gates hooked up to the aircraft in any reasonable time. In each flight something was wrong with the aircraft. Seem to have an old Airbus fleet. No USB on flights from Dublin to Barcelona. Food is mediocre. Bought Priority Boarding. Could not seem to...

While we were on the runway in Newark the engine had trouble. We went back to the gate where they fixed the engine after 2-3 hours. We took off and the flight was smooth with pleasant service. Obviously we missed our connection in Dublin, as did a few hundred other people. We had to wait 3 hours in line to...

Our trip started by Jet Blue's delay causing us to be rebooked or a day later since we couldn't make our Aer Lingus connection in BOS. I know this is not Aer Lingus, but since I booked the flights direct from them I assumed they would help us out. All we wanted to do was extend our trip by the...

Had request for seating with more leg room for knee problems (had DR's letter). Was led to believe that this would be accomodated but on boarding was told nothing available (this going both ways, lots of time on phone again requesting extra leg room before return trip again). Would rather have been told nothing could be done than strung along....

Travelling with my son and daughter on a lunchtime flight EI0205 back to Dublin from Manchester my daughter felt ill and fainted in the queue for security. She was attended to by a paramedic there and passed fit to fly after about an hour but we were too late to catch the flight. We went to the check in desk...
