Worst customer service flighy cancelled last min

Worst customer service. Cancelled our flight at the last min stuck at queesntown airport for four hrs .weve been told nothing 117 passengers standed at queenstown flgith suppose to leave 3.15 its now 7pm weve heard nothing no alternative arrangements made for us. Looks like spending the night in the terminal .never fly them again they dont care about their customers

Forced to pay extra to sit with 2 and 4 year old

Both return flights the service was good. I was flying with my 2 daughters, 2 and 4yrs and was shocked to find at check in that I was seated separately from both of my small children. When I called to rectify this I was told I would have to pay extra for seat allocation for both flights to be sat with my children, however this could still change at airport check in. I emailed to complain because I think it’s unacceptable to charge parents extra to ensure their children will be safe on a flight and they brushed off my “frustration” stating that “different things are important to different people” which is why they charge for seat allocation. I find it gross that they would compromise child safety and prioritise a customer paying extra for a preferred seat. Virgin in squeezing money out of customers where ever they can.

Horrible journey

Abysmal service. Angry abrupt crew. Uncomfortable seats. No food provided. Purchased very limited food range was inedible. Water was prohibited being taken on board. Only twice in a 5 hour flight was water offered and even then a very small cup was provided. Entertainment system was unreliable and a poor very limited menu of shows and movies was available.
Will definitely avoid Virgin Airlines in the future.

Nothing was good about Virgin Australia. The worst airline I have ever used. Poor service, rude staff, old airplane. Both flights were few hours delayed. It was also expensive.

Virgin Australia customer service decline.

Fly regularly for work. Virgin once competed with Qantas. Now I guess they only compete with Jetstar. All costs stripped out of the Australian domestic services over 9 years I have been a member. Should be viewed as a Low Cost Carrier and tickets priced according. 💸

The ground and flight staff are great, however be very aware they can change, reroute and cancel at very late notice causing great distress
