The automated check in and baggage drop were chaotic with many, many annoyed customers. Human beings had to come to the rescue! The whole process must have been at least five times slower than when it was done by a friendly person. If this is progress... forget it! The staff on the plane were friendly and courteous but they were handing...

We bought this flight thinking that since Virgin was a Star Alliance member airlines that our being United frequent fliers benefits would apply. Wrong, we did not get first bag free but was charged an exhorbitant amount for such a short flight. The flight was operated by Air New Zealand also a member of Star Alliance so be very careful...

Great Airline to Fly with but not many services from HVB, could never get higher than just miss out on Silver Status which is worth Nothing. For that Reason I have been forced to return to Qantas, due to the many Flight I make I am back to platinum with Qantas and I love the additional service that my New...

Wonderful flight considering we had our toddler onboard, the stewards were excellent, definitely fly virgin again. We were well looked after in-flight and were able to go on the flight early with our child which helped a lot.

It is only a short flight but it wasn't up to their previous standards. Direct access to the lounge for premium customers with no bags is great. The lounge itself was OK, there was a level of staff disinterest apart from one very helpful staff member. The level of disinterest was also evident on board with most of the attention...

Usually fly cheapest flights within Australia. Was caught out on this trip and had to make hurried choice. Fortunately I chose Virgin Australia. For a few more $ we received bigger aircraft (more room) Meal and in flight entertainment. Also the service from all was superior to other cheaper airlines. Wi-fi would have made for an EXCELLENT review from this...

I would say this service was 'cheap and nasty' except it wasn't cheap - just nasty. Paid over $600 for the Akld - Sydney leg of our return trip, (and another $600 for the Air NZ return trip home) and it was a huge lesson in NEVER taking these code share flights ever again when crossing the ditch. Booked an...

In the past three months I've flown business class to Shanghai with QANTAS most uncomfortable time was had the food was not to my licking and I wrote a letter of complaint about the cleanliness of the aircraft. I then flew to Budapest and returned from Amsterdam with Emirates again business class, 400% on QANTAS, and this week I flew...

After a couple flights were messed up, Virgin refunded money into a "Virgin Travel Bank". Great idea.. If they actually informed you of the fine print... that your money has an expiry date.... This was not mentioned when initially refunding in person, nor was it mentioned in the confirmation emails.... And not even a email to remind their ever soo...

It normally comes down to cost and then service and I have noticed that the service edge Virgin had over the competition is not so apparent now ? The girls & staff are still great but delays are not expressed to the customers as well as before, more frustrating I find. But I hope they continue as I know that...
