Flybe offer an attractive connection between the north of the Netherlands (Groningen) and London Southend. From Southend it is maybe 90 minutes by train -if it runs- to the heart of London City. The Flybe flight was significantly delayed returning from Southend to Groningen - we got very worried we would not make it in time for the closure time...

Flight was pretty good it took about an hour and a half and the journey was comfortable. We paid extra for extra leg room and were given the two seats on the offside of the aircraft at the very front where the emergency exit is. Lots of space and two windows on this ATR 72, I think ? We were...

Impressed by very speedy and efficient check in. Plane out was clean, well stocked and departed more or less on time. Flight was smooth and uneventful. Stewards were smart and efficient. There isn’t a lot of leg room on these planes, it felt a bit squashed. Flight back was not quite so good. Flight was delayed, no reason given and...

This is the only flight out on Friday's to Birmingham on this airline. We should have been taking off in plenty of time to collect our hire car at Birmingham Airport. Due to series of unfortunate events, due to weather conditions, we boarded on time but sat on the plane for just over an hour before we were cleared to...

I had an issue with my booking before i got to the airport and had to contact customer services to have it resolved. They done so without any fuss what so ever, free of charge and couldn't have been more helpful. The flight was pleasant and the whole experience was effortless and worth the money. I have flown with this...

We were relocating to Spain, so needed a quick flight back and Southampton Airport was just round the corner from us, never flown Flybe before so didn't know what to expect , I was pleasantly surprised, very helpful flight attendants and the flight was smooth as silk, would def fly with them again.

Great little hop, skip, and a jump. Faster & cheaper than the train. They have very strict rules for carry-on luggage, and we opted to pay for a checked bag each which was £27 ahead of time or £50 at the airport. There was a little bit of turbulence, but overall it was a good experience for such a small...

We had not flown with Flybe before, and were a little wary of budget Airlines. We had booked online some months in advance, and found the online booking system easy to navigate. On arriving at Southampton Airport we used the kiosks to obtain our boarding passes and then took our suitcases to the check in desks. The whole process was...

Small two pax a side turboprops operated from City. Claustrophobic?? If you are used to jet travel. Long walk to aircraft and very crowded at peak times.Aircraft on time, and longish flight o.k. though air conditioning cold. Southampton is no Heathrow if returning from there buy sandwiches and snacks prior to going to airport. Costa we found a disaster with...
