Flight was from CEIBA NRR rather than SJU, but it was worth it. The first plane was a little on the ancient side... think flying terodactyl - but at no point did we feel unsafe. The approach into Culebra was a beautiful bonus on top of the time and aggravation we saved by flying instead of taking the ferry. The...

Not only was it a big time saver taking a flight instead of the ferry, the views from the flight were stunning. A unique way to see the islands from above. It was on time with a super friendly pilot. The only downside was the price was a bit steep due to peak season and they charged additional for our...

Full disclosure.... I do not like flying small planes. The staff is great, everything was timely, just prefer to not fly Britton-Norman style aircrafts. If you have any issues, use a company with modern planes. It’s worth the price difference. These old planes do not have many windows. If you do have a window, (middle to back seats), most look...

The service is fine but a bit disorganised. Definitely try and bring headphones or really anything to protect your ears as the flight is VERY loud. Fun landing into Culabra

We purchased tickets for Saturday June 23rd out of Ceiba, PR. Turns out there was a lot of rain and lightning and flights were not going out. Our flight was to be at 8AM and returning the same day at 5:30PM. We waited until after 10 and asked to cancel the flight. We were told our flight would be cancelled...

Always prefer to use VAL for my trips to Vieques or Culebra islands. Smooth and nice flights, always on time. No complaint at all. Take the plane from Ceiba Airport. It only takes 8 minutes to Vieques and 15 minutes to Culebra. An experience everyone should live!

If you want to get to Culebra quickly from the San Juan area, I suggest taking a flight out of Isla Grande airport (SIG) for a one way ticket of around 90$. I’ve heard many stories about the ferry being late or tickets being unavailable and that to me is a total deal breaker. If you’re on vacation, you want...

We booked a returning flight from Culebra to San Juan. The check-in process went well, but we ended up waiting a while to board. We left about 30 minutes later than we booked the flight for. I was so thirsty, but inside the airport, there were no options to get a drink. Not even a vending machine. A worker was...

I prefer flying to Culebra instead of taking the ferry and would typically fly direct from San Juan but post-Maria/Irma issues resulted in the only option matching my traveling schedule was to fly out of Ceiba from the airport at the old Roosevelt Roads Naval Base. Ceiba is not available as an option to choose when specifying the "Flying From"...

Great little air line for island hoping. No muss no fuss, no luxury, but a solid short flight to get where you want to be quickly. Bag fees can be tough but they are very clear when you book what the limits are.
