Whenever I fly for medical/personal travel, I always try to fly PAL. Customer service is great and you actually get free snacks on board! Flight attendants are super sweet (haven’t seen a grumpy one in the 4 1/2years I’ve been flying to NL for medical). I do wish bathrooms were a tad bigger with actual water for washing. I have...

I had to fly to Deer Lake recently for a family emergency. I was able to get a direct flight out the same day which was perfect. This is a short flight so my expectations were minimal. Imagine my surprise when the attendant came around with sandwiches, cookies, chips and drinks. Gluten free options weren't available but I did hear...

I was waiting to touch the ground when I realized we are already on the ground. This was Dash 8, only 37 seats, 2 prop plane. Because this is a small plane, I expected a bumpy flight. But instead, this was one of the best flights and the best landing ever. I congratulated the young pilot on such a perfect...

Flew the flight down Wabush to Halifax and back with Pal. It’s a small beech aircraft, but the flight was fast and smooth. Quick touch down in Charlo and we were of again. Approx 2 hour flight. No flight attendant, but water and cookies provided as you board. Highly recommend.

We travelled on the newer A330-300 series from Melbourne to Manila. This plane has seat back entertainment with plenty of options. Meals were good and there were generous amounts of alcohol served although they did run out of beer towards the end of the flight. Great for those wanting direct flights at good prices. Our flight arrived early into Manila.

I was supposed to fly from Busuanga to Manila but while checking in, the staff told us that we are going to be flown to Clark instead. It was a 2 hours ride (without traffic) away from Manila Airport. They said that they would provide us with transport and promised that we were able to get to catch our connecting...

Our flight was slightly behind schedule because of the winter storm, but the service of the counter crew and the flight team made the experience enjoyable.

There's always prestige in being the first! And PAL tries its best to also be the best. I remember years ago when I first experienced flying - there was only PAL. No budget airlines as option. Flying then was really expensive, but it was really an experience. Fast forward to today in the age of price wars and the cheapest...
