Amazing stay at Foalies Bridge
We spent an amazing few days at Foalies Brodge. The location is spectacular. We were so relaxed and refreshed after our trip. Kevin & Charmain were fantastic hosts and the house was so well kitted for stay. Our daughter and dog settled in immediately! We would highly recommend booking here for a countryside getaway break close to rivers and lakes. Perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and boat hire.

Tranquil and peaceful
Everything we wanted. 11 foalies bridge was an away from it all peaceful retreat. Fresh air and by the river for the fishing and boating enthusiasts. The house is very clean with all the home from home facilities. Kevin and Charmaine were the perfect hosts, very warm, helpful and friendly. Charmaine gave us a tour of the house on arrival and showed us how everything worked which was great and necessary. There are activities nearby such as kayaking, boating, catch and release fishing and horse riding. Kevin is a great help with information on how to book these. The best thing about the property for me is that the house is the perfect place to relax with the family after a day of activity. A game of pool on the small table or a BBQ in the rear garden. Sleeping was a blessing with the windows open, hearing the birds and not traffic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone without question. A chance to energise and recharge your batteries so to speak.

Excellent stay
Very impressed with Kevin and Charmaine nothing was too much trouble to them. Even them getting up at 5 am because the ferry had changed its time (problems with adverse weather problems on the Irish Sea) I had problems with the hot water for s shower and she came out and fixed it immediately.

Perfect Retreat
No1 Foalies Bridge is a lovely holiday home. Very spacious, comfortable and clean with everything you need ( i took binliners, washing up liquid, kitchen roll etc but was already provided). it is quite remote so dont expect to walk to the shops / village as the road is more like a lane and im not sure it would be very safe. It was perfect for us as we had canoes with us and paddled to Crom and to Belterbet. Kevin and Charmain were very friendly and helpful and were happy for our 2 miniature schnauzers to stay at the house.
My only negative is that we didnt manage to complete the Harry Potter jigsaw!! We were be determined but alas it beat us with the last few pieces!!
Next time!! :)

We enjoyed our stay in the house, kevin and charmain made us very welcome. it was very well maintained and fitted with all amenities, with plenty of space inside and out. The views from the upstairs double bedroom is beautiful of the loch.
Very peacefull quiet location, with belturbet town close, we would recomend the seven horseshoes pub there for great food.
We enjoyed the company of the resident ducks who seemed to appear every morning for a little food.
Although we didnt hire a boat ourselves this can be done locally or through kevin.
