Jammu is supposed to be the city of temples and in every gali (small road conecting other small road) you can find a temple with varying history of the last 200-300 years. Best times to visit are October-November and March-April. The days are balmy and warm and the nights are lovely and cool.

If you are a nature lover surrounding areas of 50-100kms offer lots of trails, waterfalls and rivulets, green forests, and winding roads.
