While the information with regards to Water Sports in Goa can be at times erratic and unorganized there a lot of activities that can be found. Below is basic  account, but would recommend travellers to continuosly search for more information and update this post so other travellers can benefit .

A few points:

For Watersports - starting earlier is a better option , the water is lovely , the weather is inviting and the beach is generally less crowded so Operators might be tempted to allow a few more extra minutes if there isnt a long line of waiting tourists.

While bargaining, keep in mind the safety aspect so cheap is not always the way to go especially when dealing with women and children. If a company provides better quality of saftey tools like lifejackets, paddles and oars, spending a few rupees extra maynot be as exorbitant as you think.

The most popular activities are :

  • Parasailing
  • Jet Ski
  • Banana Rides
  • Speed Boat Rides
  • Bumper ride
  • Float Boat rides

Popular Tourist Spots like Calangute, Candolim, Baga beach, Bogmallo Beach, Cavelossim beach and the Colva Beach stretch all have facilities for the same. The government has taken steps to regulate the prices so while both Safety as well as the price levels are maintained, caution is still recommended alongwith adherence to safety quidelines.

Kayaking - mostly along the rivers in Nerul, Siolim and calmer Beaches like Morjim and Palolem. There is a place in Vasco that conducts Night - Kayak trips as well.

Kite-Surfing : Most popular in Morjim and occasionally in Candolim though the Bambolim beach also has some activity at one of the resorts.

Private Boat Rides : (some would'nt classify it under water sports , but its popular so it's worth mentioning) Try the new Konkan Explorers, who are into private boat trips with Kayaking, and Sailing activities on the Chapora River. Look them up on TA for details... Worth a good look.

Wind-Surfing : Morjim has a popular wind-surfing group and places like the Calangute stretch and the hawai beach in Dona Paula also has a dedicated fan base.

Rafting : Widely found on the outskirts of Goa in Dandeli, Recent developments by the Goa government on the Mhadei River in the Sattari district should lead to a large influx of newer places.
