As all the famillies well know it is difficult to find things to do interesting for adults and for children, here are some of the places around London:

- Legoland Windsor Theme Park (in Windsor you'll easily find signals for the park), it is a park all about Lego blocks and the fun is for all the members of the family, if you live in UK the ticket is not affordable but if you come from Europe it is quiet expensive, but the park is very nice. It will take about 45 minutes from central London (Paddington)

- Willows Farm, it is a farm where you can do a lot of things like feeding animals, digging potatoes, go on a track-ride, etc.. Many shows are in program during the day and Playgrounfd area are inside and outside, you can bring your own food and have a pic-nic or take something from the bar or restaurant, very exciting. North of London, it will take about an hour to get there from Piccadilly.

-Winnie Pooh 100 Acres Wood, it not something special (a playground area is on construction) but you can have a picnic in a nice place; there is a small  playground area and a place with animals (farm animals), have a walk along the path and you'll see the small Winnie the Pooh house and his friends house, it is a good place if the weather is not bad

- Knebworth House and Park, lot to do here too; playground for children, the track with Dinosaurs, the gardens and the house to see and coffe shop and gift shop

All the places above are near Edgware (outer north London) and you have to pay the entrance but it is not so expensive (apart Legoland) and the last one has a convenient family ticket
