Calgary has a very extensive system of pathways (multi-purpose) and bikeways (bicycles only). In 2007, a local CBC radio show named Calgary pathways as one of the "Seven Wonders of Calgary". Many parts of the pathway system are very scenic, going along the shores of the Bow and Elbow rivers, through Fish Creek Provincial Park, and through many other municipal parks.
