Visiting Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe's largest game reserve (at over 5,650 square miles), Hwange lies in the country's northwest, near its borders with both Botswana and Zambia, just south of Victoria Falls. Nearly 400 bird types and over 100 mammal species are here, including one of the world's largest elephant populations. Hwange is composed of three distinct camps: Sinamatella (a former cattle ranch near the park's north border), Robins (close to the western border) and Main (located at the park's main entrance).
